56 First Timothy 6:13-21 ¹³ܡܤܗܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ ܕܡܚܐ ܟܠ ܘܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܐܤܗܕ ܩܕܡ ܦܢܛܝܘܤ ܦܝܠܛܘܤ ܤܗܕܘܬܐ ܫܦܝܪܬܐ ܀ ¹⁴ܕܬܛܪܝܘܗܝ ܦܘܩܕܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܛܘܠܫܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܡܘܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܓܠܝܢܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܀ ¹⁵ܗܘ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܒܙܒܢܗ ܢܚܘܝܘܗܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܒܪܟܐ ܘܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܘܡܪܐ ܕܡܪܘܬܐ ܀ ¹⁶ܗܘ ܕܗܘ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܠܐ ܡܬܚܒܠ ܘܥܡܪ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܕܐܢܫ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܕܢܬܩܪܒ ܠܗ ܘܐܢܫ ܡܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܠܐ ܚܙܝܗܝ ܘܐܦܠܐ ܡܨܐ ܠܡܚܙܝܗ ܗܘ ܕܠܗ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܀ ¹⁷ܠܥܬܝܪܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܦܩܕ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܪܝܡܘܢ ܒܪܥܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܬܟܠܘܢ ܥܠ ܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܬܘܟܠܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܠ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܐ ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܟܠ ܥܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܠܢܝܚܢ ܀ ¹⁸ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܢܥܬܪܘܢ ܒܤܘܥܪܢܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܠܝܠܝܢ ܠܡܬܠ ܘܠܡܫܬܘܬܦܘ ܀ ¹⁹ܘܢܤܝܡܘܢ ܠܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܫܬܐܤܬܐ ܛܒܬܐ ܠܡܕܡ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܕܢܕܪܟܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ ܀ ²⁰ܐܘ ܛܝܡܬܐܐ ܐܙܕܗܪ ܒܡܕܡ ܕܐܬܓܥܠ ܠܟ ܘܥܪܘܩ ܡܢ ܒܢܬ ܩܠܐ ܤܪܝܩܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܗܦܟܬܐ ܕܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܓܠܬܐ ܀ ²¹ܐܝܠܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܫܬܘܕܝܢ ܠܗ ܛܥܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܥܡܟ ܐܡܝܢ ܀ (SYP)

56 First Timothy 6:13-21 ¹³I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; ¹⁴That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: ¹⁵Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; ¹⁶Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. ¹⁷Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; ¹⁸That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; ¹⁹Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. ²⁰O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: ²¹Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. 56 First Timothy 6:13-21 ¹³¶ I charge you in the presence of God, the giver of life to all, and before Jesus Christ, who gave a good testimony before Pontius Pilate, ¹⁴That you obey this charge without spot and without stain until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵Who is to be revealed in his due time, blessed and almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords, ¹⁶Who alone has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach, and whom no man has seen, nor can see; to him be honor and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. ¹⁷Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not proud, nor trust in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God who gives us all things so abundantly for our comfort. ¹⁸That they do good works, and become rich in good deeds, and be ready to give and willing to share, ¹⁹Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold upon the true life. ²⁰O Timothy, be careful of that which is entrusted to you; flee from empty echoes and from the perversion of false science; ²¹For those professing this have strayed from the faith. 56 First Timothy 6:13-21 ¹³In the presence of God who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, ¹⁴I charge you to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ; ¹⁵and this will be made manifest at the proper time by the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, ¹⁶who alone has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

¹⁷As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches but on God who richly furnishes us with everything to enjoy. ¹⁸They are to do good, to be rich in good deeds, liberal and generous, ¹⁹thus laying up for themselves a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life which is life indeed.

²⁰O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, ²¹for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards the faith. (RSV)

56 First Timothy 6:13-21 ¹³In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you ¹⁴to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵which God will bring about in his own time -- God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, ¹⁶who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

¹⁷Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. ¹⁸Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. ¹⁹In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

²⁰Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, ²¹which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you.(NIV)
