54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
19For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
20Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
21Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
(KJV)

54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
16For where a testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him that made it.
17For a testament is of force where there hath been death: for it doth never avail while he that made it liveth.
18Wherefore even the first covenant hath not been dedicated without blood.
19For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses unto all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded to you-ward.
21Moreover the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry he sprinkled in like manner with the blood.
22And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15¶ For this cause he became the mediator of the new covenant and by his death he became salvation for those who transgressed the old covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16For where a will is presented, it shows the death of its maker.
17For a will is of force only after men are dead, otherwise it is useless so long as its maker lives.
18For this reason not even the first covenant was confirmed without blood.
19For when Moses had given every precept to all the people according to the law, Moses took the blood of a heifer with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled it on the books and on all the people,
20Saying, This is the blood of the covenant which has been ordained for you by God.
21That very blood he also sprinkled on the tabernacle and on all the vessels used for worship,
22Because nearly everything, according to the law, is purified with the blood; and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (LAM)
54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant.
16For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established.
17For a will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive.
18Hence even the first covenant was not ratified without blood.
19For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded you."
21And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship.
22Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.(RSV)
54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance -- now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
16In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it,
17because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.
18This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
19When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.
20He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."
21In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies.
22In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.(NIV)
54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
16For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.
17For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.
18Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
19For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20saying, 'This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.'
21Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in like manner with the blood.
22According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

19For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Torah, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20saying, 'This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.'
21Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in like manner with the blood.
22According to the Torah, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

54 Hebrews 9:15-22
15For this cause he became the mediator of the new contract and by his death he became salvation for those who transgressed the old contract, that those who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16For where a will is presented, it shows the death of its maker.
17For a will is of force only after men are dead, otherwise it is useless so long as its maker lives.
18For this reason not even the first contract was confirmed without blood.
19For when Moses had given every precept to all the people according to the law, Moses took the blood of a heifer with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled it on the books and on all the people,
20Saying, This is the blood of the contract which has been ordained for you by God.
21That very blood he also sprinkled on the tabernacle and on all the vessels used for worship,
22Because nearly everything, according to the law, is purified with the blood; and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (BRB)
