53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܬܟܤܬ ܙܒܢܝܢ ܤܓܝܐܢ ܕܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܀ ²³ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܕܘܟܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܝ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܪܘܬܐ ܘܤܘܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܫܢܝܐ ܤܓܝܐܬܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܀ ²⁴ܡܐ ܕܐܙܠ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܤܦܢܝܐ ܡܤܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܘܐܚܙܝܟܘܢ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܠܘܘܢܢܝ ܠܬܡܢ ܡܐ ܕܩܠܝܠ ܡܢ ܤܓܝ ܐܬܒܤܡܬ ܒܚܙܬܟܘܢ ܀ (SYP)

53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. ²³But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; ²⁴Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. 53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. ²³But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; ²⁴Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. 53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²Wherefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you: ²³but now, having no more any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come unto you, ²⁴whensoever I go unto Spain (for I hope to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first in some measure I shall have been satisfied with your company)-- (ASV)

53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²¶ This is the reason why I have been many times prevented from coming to you. ²³But now since I have no place in these countries and I have been desirous for many years past to come to you, ²⁴When I leave for Spain, I hope to come to see you; and I hope that you will escort me thence after I have more or less fully enjoyed my visit. 53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²This is the reason why I have so often been hindered from coming to you. ²³But now, since I no longer have any room for work in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you, ²⁴I hope to see you in passing as I go to Spain, and to be sped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a little. 53 Romans 15:22-24 ²²This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.

²³But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to see you, ²⁴I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to visit you while passing through and to have you assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while. (NIV)
