53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷ܐܝܬ ܠܝ ܗܟܝܠ ܫܘܒܗܪܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܀ ¹⁸ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܡܪܚ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܡܪ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܤܥܪ ܒܐܝܕܝ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܡܫܡܥܐ ܕܥܡܡܐ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܘܒܥܒܕܐ ܀ ¹⁹ܒܚܝܠܐ ܕܐܬܘܬܐ ܘܕܬܕܡܪܬܐ ܘܒܚܝܠܐ ܕܪܘܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܐܬܟܪܟ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܐܠܘܪܝܩܘܢ ܘܐܡܠܐ ܤܒܪܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܀ ²⁰ܟܕ ܡܬܚܦܛ ܐܢܐ ܐܤܒܪ ܠܐ ܟܪ ܕܐܬܩܪܝ ܫܡܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܒܢܐ ܥܠ ܫܬܐܤܬܐ ܢܘܟܪܝܬܐ ܀ ²¹ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܚܙܘܢܗ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܫܡܥܘ ܢܬܛܦܝܤܘܢ ܀ (SYP)

53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. ¹⁸For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ¹⁹Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. ²⁰Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another mans foundation: ²¹But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. 53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷I have therefore my glorifying in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God. ¹⁸For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed, ¹⁹in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ; ²⁰yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man's foundation; ²¹but, as it is written,(ASV)

53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷¶ I am proud therefore to glory in Jesus Christ before God. ¹⁸For I can scarcely speak of anything which Christ has not wrought by me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed, ¹⁹Through mighty miracles and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem I went round about as far as Illyricum, and I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. ²⁰And I have so striven to preach the gospel, not at any place where Christ's name had already been preached, because I did not want to build on another's foundation; ²¹But as it is written, Those to whom he was never mentioned shall see him; and those who have not heard of him shall be made obedient. 53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God. ¹⁸For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has wrought through me to win obedience from the Gentiles, by word and deed, ¹⁹by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that from Jerusalem and as far round as Illyr'icum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ, ²⁰thus making it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on another man's foundation, ²¹but as it is written, (RSV)

53 Romans 15:17-21 ¹⁷Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. ¹⁸I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done -- ¹⁹by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. ²⁰It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. ²¹Rather, as it is written: "Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand."
