50 First Corinthians 10:6-14
6Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
14Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
(KJV)

7Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in 1 day 23000.
9Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

7Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9Neither let us make trial of the Lord, as some of them made trial, and perished by the serpents.
10Neither murmur ye, as some of them murmured, and perished by the destroyer.
11Now these things happened unto them by way of example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.
12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

50 First Corinthians 10:6-14
6¶ But they became an example to us, so that we should not covet evil things as they did covet.
7Neither should we become idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to quarrel.
8Neither should we commit adultery, as some of them committed; for in one day twenty-three thousand of them fell dead.
9Neither should we tempt Christ, as some of them tempted; for they were destroyed by snakes.
10Neither should you murmur, as some of them murmured; for they were destroyed by the hand of the destroyer.
11Now all of these things which happened to them are an example for us; and they are written for our admonition, for the fulfillment of the ages has come in our time.
12Therefore, let him who thinks he can stand, take heed so that he may not fall.
13No other temptation has overtaken you but that which is common to man; but God is faithful; he will not suffer you to be tempted beyond your endurance; but will make a way for you to escape your temptation, so that you may be able to bear it.
14Therefore, my beloved, keep away from idolatry. (LAM)
50 First Corinthians 10:6-14
6Now these things are warnings for us, not to desire evil as they did.
7Do not be idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to dance."
8We must not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single day.
9We must not put the Lord to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents;
10nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer.
11Now these things happened to them as a warning, but they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come.
12Therefore let any one who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.
13No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
14Therefore, my beloved, shun the worship of idols.

50 First Corinthians 10:6-14
6Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
7Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
8We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did -- and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
9We should not test the Lord, as some of them did -- and were killed by snakes.
10And do not grumble, as some of them did -- and were killed by the destroying angel.
11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!
13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
14Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.
