42 Mark 7:24-30 24And from thence he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered into a house, and would have no man know it; and he could not be hid. 25But straightway a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet. 26Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. And she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter. 27And he said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. 28But she answered and saith unto him, Yea, Lord; even the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. 29And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the demon is gone out of thy daughter. 30And she went away unto her house, and found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out. 42 Mark 7:24-30 24¶ Jesus moved away from thence, and came to the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and he entered into a house, and did not want any one to know about him. And yet he could not hide himself. 25For immediately a woman heard about him, whose daughter had an unclean spirit; and she came and fell at his feet. 26But the woman was a heathen, from Phoenicia in Syria; and she besought him to cast out the demon from her daughter. 27And Jesus said to her, Let the children be first filled; for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. 28But she answered, saying to him, Yes, my Lord; even the dogs eat the children's crumbs under the tables. 29Jesus said to her, Go your way; just because of this word, the demon has gone out of your daughter. 30So she went to her house and found her daughter lying in bed, and the demon gone out of her. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 26And he said to her, "Let the children first be fed, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." 27But she answered him, "Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs." 28And he said to her, "For this saying you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter." 29And she went home, and found the child lying in bed, and the demon gone.

30Then he returned from the region of Tyre, and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of the Decap'olis. (RSV)

42 Mark 7:24-30 24Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret. 25In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an evil spirit came and fell at his feet. 26The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.

27"First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

28"Yes, Lord," she replied, "but even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."

29Then he told her, "For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter."

30She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.(NIV)
