42 Mark 2:1-12 ¹ܘܥܠ ܬܘܒ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܟܦܪܢܚܘܡ ܠܝܘܡܬܐ ܘܟܕ ܫܡܥܘ ܕܒܒܝܬܐ ܗܘ ܀ ²ܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܤܓܝܐܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܫܟܚ ܐܚܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܦܠܐ ܩܕܡ ܬܪܥܐ ܘܡܡܠܠ ܗܘܐ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܡܠܬܐ ܀ ³ܘܐܬܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܐܝܬܝܘ ܠܗ ܡܫܪܝܐ ܟܕ ܫܩܝܠܝܢ ܠܗ ܒܝܬ ܐܪܒܥܐ ܀ ⁴ܘܕܠܐ ܐܫܟܚܘ ܠܡܬܩܪܒܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܡܛܠ ܟܢܫܐ ܤܠܩܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܐܓܪܐ ܘܐܪܝܡܘ ܬܛܠܝܠܐ ܕܐܬܪ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܫܒܘܗ ܥܪܤܐ ܕܪܡܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܡܫܪܝܐ ܀ ⁵ܟܕ ܚܙܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܗܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘ ܡܫܪܝܐ ܒܪܝ ܫܒܝܩܝܢ ܠܟ ܚܛܗܝܟ ܀ ⁶ܐܝܬ ܗܘܘ ܕܝܢ ܬܡܢ ܡܢ ܤܦܪܐ ܘܦܪܝܫܐ ܕܝܬܒܝܢ ܘܡܬܪܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܠܒܗܘܢ ܀ ⁷ܕܡܢܐ ܗܢܐ ܡܡܠܠ ܓܘܕܦܐ ܡܢܘ ܡܫܟܚ ܠܡܫܒܩ ܚܛܗܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܚܕ ܐܠܗܐ ܀ ⁸ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܝܕܥ ܒܪܘܚܗ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܡܬܪܥܝܢ ܒܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܡܬܪܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܒܠܒܟܘܢ ܀ ⁹ܐܝܕܐ ܦܫܝܩܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܠܡܫܪܝܐ ܕܫܒܝܩܝܢ ܠܟ ܚܛܗܝܟ ܐܘ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܕܩܘܡ ܫܩܘܠ ܥܪܤܟ ܘܗܠܟ ܀ ¹⁰ܕܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܫܠܝܛ ܗܘ ܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܠܡܫܒܩ ܚܛܗܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܡܫܪܝܐ ܀ ¹¹ܠܟ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܩܘܡ ܫܩܘܠ ܥܪܤܟ ܘܙܠ ܠܒܝܬܟ ܀ ¹²ܘܩܡ ܒܪ ܫܥܬܗ ܘܫܩܠ ܥܪܤܗ ܘܢܦܩ ܠܥܝܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܢܬܕܡܪܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܘܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܟܕ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܡܬܘܡ ܚܙܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܀ (SYP)

42 Mark 2:1-12 ¹And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. ²And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. ³And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. ⁴And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. ⁵When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. ⁶But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, ⁷Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? ⁸And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? ⁹Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? ¹⁰But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) ¹¹I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. ¹²And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. 42 Mark 2:1-12 ¹AND Jesus entered again into Capernaum for a few days; and when they heard that he was in a house, ²A great many gathered together so that it was impossible to hold them, not even in front of the entrance; so he spoke a few words to them. ³And they came to him, and brought to him a paralyzed man, carried between four men. ⁴But as they were unable to come near him because of the crowd, they went up to the roof and uncovered it over the place where Jesus was; and they lowered the quilt-bed in which the paralyzed man lay. ⁵When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, My son, your sins are forgiven. ⁶Now some of the scribes and Pharisees were sitting there, and they reasoned in their hearts, ⁷Why does this man speak blasphemy? Who can forgive sins except God only? ⁸But Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were reasoning among themselves, and he said to them, Why do you reason these things in your heart? ⁹Which is the easier, to say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven; or to say, Rise, take up your quilt-bed and walk? ¹⁰But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, he said to the paralytic, ¹¹I tell you, Rise, take up your quilt-bed, and go to your house. ¹²And immediately he rose, and took up his quilt-bed and went out before the eyes of them all; and they were all amazed, and gave glory to God, saying, We have never seen anything like it. 42 Mark 2:1-12 ¹And when he returned to Caper'na-um after some days, it was reported that he was at home. ²And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, not even about the door; and he was preaching the word to them. ³And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. ⁴And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him; and when they had made an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic lay. ⁵And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." ⁶Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, ⁷"Why does this man speak thus? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" ⁸And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you question thus in your hearts? ⁹Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, `Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, `Rise, take up your pallet and walk'? ¹⁰But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he said to the paralytic-- ¹¹"I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home." ¹²And he rose, and immediately took up the pallet and went out before them all; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"(RSV)

42 Mark 2:1-12 ¹A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. ²So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. ³Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. ⁴Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. ⁵When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

⁶Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, ⁷"Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

⁸Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things? ⁹Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, `Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, `Get up, take your mat and walk'? ¹⁰But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." He said to the paralytic, ¹¹"I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home." ¹²He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!"(NIV)

¹²He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, 'We never saw anything like this!'(WEB)
