41 Matthew 21:14-17 ¹⁴And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. ¹⁵And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased, ¹⁶And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

¹⁷And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there. (KJV)

And Jesus saith unto them, Yea: did ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou has perfected praise? ¹⁷And he left them, and went forth out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.(ASV)

41 Matthew 21:14-17 ¹⁴And in the temple they brought to him the blind and the lame, and he healed them. ¹⁵But when the high priests and the Pharisees saw the wonders that he did, and the boys who were crying aloud in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David, they were displeased. ¹⁶And they said to him, Do you hear what they are saying? Jesus said to them, Yes; have you never read, From the mouth of little children and of boys you made praise?

¹⁷¶ And he left them, and went outside of the city to Bethany, and he lodged there. (LAM)

And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, `Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast brought perfect praise'?" ¹⁷And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there.(RSV)

41 Matthew 21:14-17 ¹⁴The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. ¹⁵But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.

¹⁶"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "`From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"

¹⁷And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.(NIV)
