40 John 11:37-46 37And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? 38Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. 45Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. 46But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.(KJV)

40 John 11:37-46 37But some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of him that was blind, have caused that this man also should not die? 38Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39Jesus saith, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time the body decayeth; for he hath been dead four days. 40Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou believedst, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me. 42And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me. 43And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. 45Many therefore of the Jews, who came to Mary and beheld that which he did, believed on him. 46But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Jesus had done. (ASV)

40 John 11:37-46 37Some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of that blind man, have also kept this man from dying? 38As Jesus was disturbed in himself because of them, he came to the tomb. That tomb was a cave, and a stone was placed at the entrance. 39Jesus said, Take away this stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, My Lord, already his body stinks, for he has been dead four days. 40Jesus said to her, Did not I say to you that if vow believe, you will see the glory of God? 41So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted his eyes upwards and said, O Father, I thank thee for thou hast heard me, 42And I know that thou always hearest me; but I say these things just because of this people who stand around, so that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43And when he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazar, come out. 44And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with burial clothes, and his face bound with a burial napkin. Jesus said to them, Loose him and let him go.

45¶ Many of the Jews who had come to Mary, when they saw what Jesus had done, believed in him. 46And some of them went to the Pharisees and told them everything Jesus had done. (LAM)

40 John 11:37-46 37But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?"

38Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb; it was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, "Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days." 40Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" 41So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42I knew that thou hearest me always, but I have said this on account of the people standing by, that they may believe that thou didst send me." 43When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, "Laz'arus, come out." 44The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with bandages, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go."

45Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what he did, believed in him; 46but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. (RSV)

40 John 11:37-46 37But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?"

38Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39"Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days."

40Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"

41So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me."

43When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

45Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him. 46But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. (NIV)

40 John 11:37-46 37Some of them said, 'Couldn't this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?'

38Jesus therefore, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39Jesus said, 'TakeP away the stone.'

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, 'Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.'

40Jesus said to her, 'Didn't I tell you that if you believed, you would see God's glory?'

41So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, 'Father, I thank you that you listened to me. 42I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude that stands around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.' 43When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come out!'

44He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth.

Jesus said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'

45Therefore many of the Jews, who came to Mary and saw what Jesus did, believed in him. 46But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Jesus had done. (WEB)

40 John 11:37-46 37Some of them said, 'Couldn't this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?'

38Yeshua therefore, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39Yeshua said, 'Take away the stone.'

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, 'Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.'

40Yeshua said to her, 'Didn't I tell you that if you believed, you would see God's glory?'

41So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Yeshua lifted up his eyes, and said, 'Father, I thank you that you listened to me.

Yeshua said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'

45Therefore many of the Judeans, who came to Miriam and saw what Yeshua did, believed in him. 46But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Yeshua had done. (WEB/HNV)

40 John 11:37-46 37Some of them said, Could this man, who opened the eyes of that blind man, have not also kept this man from dying? 38As Jesus was disturbed in himself because of them, he came to the tomb. That tomb was a cave, and a stone was placed at the entrance. 39Jesus said, Take away this stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, My Lord, his body already stinks, for he has been dead 4 days. 40Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God? 41So they took away the stone.
