40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷ܐܢܫܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܡܪܘ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܗܘܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܦܬܚ ܥܝܢܘܗܝ ܕܗܘ ܤܡܝܐ ܢܥܒܕ ܕܐܦ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܢܡܘܬ ܀ ³⁸ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܡܬܥܙܙ ܒܝܢܘܗܝ ܘܠܗ ܐܬܐ ܠܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܘܗܘ ܒܝܬ ܩܒܘܪܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܡܥܪܬܐ ܘܟܐܦܐ ܤܝܡܐ ܗܘܬ ܥܠ ܬܪܥܗ ܀ ³⁹ܘܐܡܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܫܩܘܠܘ ܟܐܦܐ ܗܕܐ ܐܡܪܐ ܠܗ ܡܪܬܐ ܚܬܗ ܕܗܘ ܡܝܬܐ ܡܪܝ ܡܢ ܟܕܘ ܤܪܝ ܠܗ ܐܪܒܥܐ ܠܗ ܓܝܪ ܝܘܡܝܢ ܀ ⁴⁰ܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܝ ܕܐܢ ܬܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܬܚܙܝܢ ܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܀ ⁴¹ܘܫܩܠܘ ܟܐܦܐ ܗܝ ܘܗܘ ܝܫܘܥ ܐܪܝܡ ܥܝܢܘܗܝ ܠܥܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܐܒܐ ܡܘܕܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܕܫܡܥܬܢܝ ܀ ⁴²ܘܐܢܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܕܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܫܡܥ ܐܢܬ ܠܝ ܐܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܟܢܫܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܩܐܡ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܢܗܝܡܢܘܢ ܕܐܢܬ ܫܕܪܬܢܝ ܀ ⁴³ܘܟܕ ܐܡܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܩܥܐ ܒܩܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܠܥܙܪ ܬܐ ܠܒܪ ܀ ⁴⁴ܘܢܦܩ ܗܘ ܡܝܬܐ ܟܕ ܐܤܝܪܢ ܐܝܕܘܗܝ ܘܪܓܠܘܗܝ ܒܦܤܩܝܬܐ ܘܐܦܘܗܝ ܐܤܝܪܢ ܒܤܘܕܪܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܫܪܐܘܗܝ ܘܫܒܘܩܘ ܐܙܠ ܀ ⁴⁵ܘܤܓܝܐܐ ܡܢ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܕܐܬܘ ܠܘܬ ܡܪܝܡ ܟܕ ܚܙܘ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܗܝܡܢܘ ܒܗ ܀ ⁴⁶ܘܐܢܫܝܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܙܠܘ ܠܘܬ ܦܪܝܫܐ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܀ (SYP)

40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? ³⁸Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. ³⁹Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. ⁴⁰Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? ⁴¹Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. ⁴²And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. ⁴³And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. ⁴⁴And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. ⁴⁵Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. ⁴⁶But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.(KJV)

Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. ³⁹Jesus saith, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time the body decayeth; for he hath been dead four days. ⁴⁰Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou believedst, thou shouldest see the glory of God? ⁴¹So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me. ⁴²And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me. ⁴³And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. ⁴⁴He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. ⁴⁵Many therefore of the Jews, who came to Mary and beheld that which he did, believed on him. ⁴⁶But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Jesus had done. 40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷Some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of that blind man, have also kept this man from dying? ³⁸As Jesus was disturbed in himself because of them, he came to the tomb. That tomb was a cave, and a stone was placed at the entrance. ³⁹Jesus said, Take away this stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, My Lord, already his body stinks, for he has been dead four days. ⁴⁰Jesus said to her, Did not I say to you that if vow believe, you will see the glory of God? ⁴¹So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted his eyes upwards and said, O Father, I thank thee for thou hast heard me, ⁴²And I know that thou always hearest me; but I say these things just because of this people who stand around, so that they may believe that thou hast sent me. ⁴³And when he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazar, come out. ⁴⁴And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with burial clothes, and his face bound with a burial napkin. Jesus said to them, Loose him and let him go.

⁴⁵¶ Many of the Jews who had come to Mary, when they saw what Jesus had done, believed in him. ⁴⁶And some of them went to the Pharisees and told them everything Jesus had done. (LAM)

40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?"

³⁸Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb; it was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. ³⁹Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, "Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days." ⁴⁰Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" ⁴¹So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. ⁴²I knew that thou hearest me always, but I have said this on account of the people standing by, that they may believe that thou didst send me." ⁴³When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, "Laz'arus, come out." ⁴⁴The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with bandages, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go."

⁴⁵Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what he did, believed in him; ⁴⁶but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. (RSV)

40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?"

³⁸Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. ³⁹"Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days."

⁴⁰Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"

⁴¹So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. ⁴²I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me."

⁴³When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" ⁴⁴The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

⁴⁵Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him. ⁴⁶But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. (NIV)

40 John 11:37-46 ³⁷Some of them said, 'Couldn't this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?'

³⁸Jesus therefore, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it. ³⁹Jesus said, 'Take_P away the stone.'

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, 'Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.'

⁴⁰Jesus said to her, 'Didn't I tell you that if you believed, you would see God's glory?'

⁴¹So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, 'Father, I thank you that you listened to me. ⁴²I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude that stands around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.' ⁴³When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come out!'

⁴⁴He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth.

Jesus said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'

Yeshua said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'

⁴⁵Therefore many of the Judeans, who came to Miriam and saw what Yeshua did, believed in him. ⁴⁶But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Yeshua had done. (WEB/HNV)
