40 John 11:29-36 29As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. 30Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. 31The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. 32Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 33When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, 34And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 35Jesus wept. 36Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! (KJV)

40 John 11:29-36 29When Mary heard it, she rose up quickly and came to him. 30Jesus had not yet come into the town, but he was still at the same place where Martha met him. 31The Jews also who were with her in the house, comforting her, when they saw Mary rise up quickly and go out, followed her, for they thought she was going to the tomb to weep. 32When Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she threw herself at his feet and said to him, My Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 33When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews weeping, who had come with her, he was moved in his spirit and was greatly disturbed. 34And he said, Where have you laid him? They said to him, Our Lord, come and see. 35And Jesus was in tears. 36The Jews then said, See how much he loved him! (LAM)

40 John 11:29-36 29And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30Now Jesus had not yet come to the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. 31When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there. 32Then Mary, when she came where Jesus was and saw him, fell at his feet, saying to him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." 33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled; 34and he said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Lord, come and see." 35Jesus wept. 36So the Jews said, "See how he loved him!" (RSV)

40 John 11:29-36 29When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him. 30Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him. 31When the Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there.

32When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."

33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied.

35Jesus wept.

36Then the Jews said, "See how he loved him!"(NIV)

40 John 11:29-36 29When she heard this, she arose quickly, and went to him. 30Now Yeshua had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha met him. 31Then the Judeans who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Miriam, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, 'She is going to the tomb to weep there.' 32Therefore when Miriam came to where Yeshua was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, 'Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn't have died.'

33When Yeshua therefore saw her weeping, and the Judeans weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, 34and said, 'Where have you laid him?'

They told him, 'Lord, come and see.'

35Yeshua wept.

36The Judeans therefore said, 'See how much affection he had for him!' (WEB/HNV)
