40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹ܘܡܪܝܡ ܟܕ ܫܡܥܬ ܩܡܬ ܥܓܠ ܘܐܬܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܠܘܬܗ ܀ ³⁰ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܐܬܐ ܗܘܐ ܠܩܪܝܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܗ ܗܘܐ ܒܗܝ ܕܘܟܬܐ ܕܐܪܥܬܗ ܡܪܬܐ ܀ ³¹ܐܦ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘܘ ܥܡܗ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܕܡܒܝܐܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܕܚܙܘ ܠܡܪܝܡ ܕܥܓܠ ܩܡܬ ܢܦܩܬ ܐܙܠܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܬܪܗ ܤܒܪܘ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܩܒܪܐ ܐܙܠܐ ܠܡܒܟܐ ܀ ³²ܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܡܪܝܡ ܟܕ ܐܬܬ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܘܚܙܬܗ ܢܦܠܬ ܥܠ ܪܓܠܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܐ ܠܗ ܐܠܘ ܬܢܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܡܪܝ ܠܐ ܡܐܬ ܗܘܐ ܐܚܝ ܀ ³³ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܟܕ ܚܙܗ ܕܒܟܝܐ ܘܠܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܐܬܘ ܥܡܗ ܕܒܟܝܢ ܐܬܥܙܙ ܒܪܘܚܗ ܘܐܙܝܥ ܢܦܫܗ ܀ ³⁴ܘܐܡܪ ܐܝܟܐ ܤܡܬܘܢܝܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܡܪܢ ܬܐ ܚܙܝ ܀ ³⁵ܘܐܬܝܢ ܗܘܝ ܕܡܥܘܗܝ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܀ ³⁶ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܝܗܘܕܝܐ ܚܙܘ ܟܡܐ ܪܚܡ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܀ (SYP)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. ³⁰Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. ³¹The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. ³²Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. ³³When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, ³⁴And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. ³⁵Jesus wept. ³⁶Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! (KJV)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹And she, when she heard it, arose quickly, and went unto him. ³⁰(Now Jesus was not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha met him.) ³¹The Jews then who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, supposing that she was going unto the tomb to weep there. ³²Mary therefore, when she came where Jesus was, and saw him, fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. ³³When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, ³⁴and said, Where have ye laid him? They say unto him, Lord, come and see. ³⁵Jesus wept. ³⁶The Jews therefore said, Behold how he loved him! (ASV)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹When Mary heard it, she rose up quickly and came to him. ³⁰Jesus had not yet come into the town, but he was still at the same place where Martha met him. ³¹The Jews also who were with her in the house, comforting her, when they saw Mary rise up quickly and go out, followed her, for they thought she was going to the tomb to weep. ³²When Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she threw herself at his feet and said to him, My Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. ³³When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews weeping, who had come with her, he was moved in his spirit and was greatly disturbed. ³⁴And he said, Where have you laid him? They said to him, Our Lord, come and see. ³⁵And Jesus was in tears. ³⁶The Jews then said, See how much he loved him! (LAM)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. ³⁰Now Jesus had not yet come to the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. ³¹When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there. ³²Then Mary, when she came where Jesus was and saw him, fell at his feet, saying to him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." ³³When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled; ³⁴and he said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Lord, come and see." ³⁵Jesus wept. ³⁶So the Jews said, "See how he loved him!" (RSV)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him. ³⁰Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him. ³¹When the Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there.

³²When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."

³³When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. ³⁴"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied.

³⁵Jesus wept.

³⁶Then the Jews said, "See how he loved him!"(NIV)

40 John 11:29-36 ²⁹When she heard this, she arose quickly, and went to him. ³⁰Now Yeshua had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha met him. ³¹Then the Judeans who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Miriam, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, 'She is going to the tomb to weep there.' ³²Therefore when Miriam came to where Yeshua was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, 'Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn't have died.'

³³When Yeshua therefore saw her weeping, and the Judeans weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, ³⁴and said, 'Where have you laid him?'

They told him, 'Lord, come and see.'

³⁵Yeshua wept.

³⁶The Judeans therefore said, 'See how much affection he had for him!' (WEB/HNV)
