40 John 9:24-34 ²⁴ܘܩܪܐܘܗܝ ܠܓܒܪܐ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܙܒܢܝܢ ܠܗܘ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܤܡܝܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܫܒܚ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܚܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܕܗܢܐ ܓܒܪܐ ܚܛܝܐ ܗܘ ܀ ²⁵ܥܢܐ ܗܘ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܢ ܚܛܝܐ ܗܘ ܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܕܤܡܝܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܗܫܐ ܗܐ ܚܙܐ ܐܢܐ ܀ ²⁶ܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܬܘܒ ܡܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܠܟ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܦܬܚ ܠܟ ܥܝܢܝܟ ܀ ²⁷ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܫܡܥܬܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܬܘܒ ܨܒܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܡܫܡܥ ܠܡܐ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܬܠܡܝܕܐ ܨܒܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܡܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܀ ²⁸ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܨܚܝܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܠܡܝܕܗ ܕܗܘ ܚܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܬܠܡܝܕܐ ܚܢܢ ܕܡܘܫܐ ܀ ²⁹ܘܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܕܥܡ ܡܘܫܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܠܠ ܠܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܡܢ ܐܝܡܟܐ ܗܘ ܀ ³⁰ܥܢܐ ܗܘ ܓܒܪܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܗܕܐ ܗܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܠܡܬܕܡܪܘ ܕܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܝܡܟܐ ܗܘ ܘܥܝܢܝ ܕܝܠܝ ܦܬܚ ܀ ³¹ܝܕܥܝܢ ܚܢܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܩܠܐ ܕܚܛܝܐ ܠܐ ܫܡܥ ܐܠܐ ܠܡܢ ܕܕܚܠ ܡܢܗ ܘܥܒܕ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܠܗܘ ܗܘ ܫܡܥ ܀ ³²ܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܠܐ ܐܫܬܡܥܬ ܕܦܬܚ ܐܢܫ ܥܝܢܐ ܕܤܡܝܐ ܕܐܬܝܠܕ ܀ ³³ܐܠܘ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܗܘܐ ܗܕܐ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܀ ³⁴ܥܢܘ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܐܢܬ ܟܠܟ ܒܚܛܗܐ ܐܬܝܠܕܬ ܘܐܢܬ ܡܠܦ ܐܢܬ ܠܢ ܘܐܦܩܘܗܝ ܠܒܪ ܀ (SYP)

40 John 9:24-34 ²⁴Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. ²⁵He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. ²⁶Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? ²⁷He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? ²⁸Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses disciples. ²⁹We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. ³⁰The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. ³¹Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. ³²Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. ³³If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. ³⁴They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. (KJV)

40 John 9:24-34 ²⁴So they called a second time the man who had been blind, and said to him, Give praise to God, for we know that this man is a sinner. ²⁵He answered, saying to them, If he is a sinner I do not know; but I do know one thing, that I was blind and now behold, I see. ²⁶They said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes? ²⁷He said to them, I have already told you, and you did not listen; why do you want to hear it again? What! do you also want to become his disciples? ²⁸Then they cursed him and said to him, You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. ²⁹And we know that God spoke with Moses; but as for this man, we do not know whence he is. ³⁰The man answered, saying to them, This is surprising, that you do not know whence he is, and yet he opened my eyes. ³¹We know that God does not hear the voice of sinners; but he hears the one who reveres him and does his will. ³²From ages it has never been heard that a man opened the eyes of one who was born blind. ³³If this man were not from God, he could not have done this. ³⁴They answered, saying to him, You were wholly born in sins, and yet do you teach us? And they cast him out. (LAM)

40 John 9:24-34 ²⁴So for the second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give God the praise; we know that this man is a sinner." ²⁵He answered, "Whether he is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I know, that though I was blind, now I see." ²⁶They said to him, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?" ²⁷He answered them, "I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you too want to become his disciples?" ²⁸And they reviled him, saying, "You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. ²⁹We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where he comes from." ³⁰The man answered, "Why, this is a marvel! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes. ³¹We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any one is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. ³²Never since the world began has it been heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind. ³³If this man were not from God, he could do nothing." ³⁴They answered him, "You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?" And they cast him out.(RSV)

40 John 9:24-34 ²⁴A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. "Give glory to God," they said. "We know this man is a sinner."

²⁵He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!"

²⁶Then they asked him, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?"

²⁷He answered, "I have told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples, too?"

²⁸Then they hurled insults at him and said, "You are this fellow's disciple! We are disciples of Moses! ²⁹We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don't even know where he comes from."

³⁰The man answered, "Now that is remarkable! You don't know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. ³¹We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. ³²Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. ³³If this man were not from God, he could do nothing."

³⁴To this they replied, "You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!" And they threw him out.(NIV)

²⁵He therefore answered, 'I don't know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.'

²⁶They said to him again, 'What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?'

How did he open your eyes? ²⁷He said to them, I have already told you, and you did not listen; why do you want to hear it again? What!
