40 John 4:33-38 ³³ܐܡܪܝܢ ܬܠܡܝܕܐ ܒܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܠܡܐ ܐܢܫ ܐܝܬܝ ܠܗ ܡܕܡ ܠܡܐܟܠ ܀ ³⁴ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܐܟܘܠܬܝ ܕܝܠܝ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܕܐܥܒܕ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܡܢ ܕܫܕܪܢܝ ܘܐܫܠܡܝܘܗܝ ܠܥܒܕܗ ܀ ³⁵ܠܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܕܒܬܪ ܐܪܒܥܐ ܝܪܚܝܢ ܐܬܐ ܚܨܕܐ ܗܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܪܝܡܘ ܥܝܢܝܟܘܢ ܘܚܙܘ ܐܪܥܬܐ ܕܚܘܪ ܘܡܛܝ ܠܚܨܕܐ ܡܢ ܟܕܘ ܀ ³⁶ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܚܨܕ ܐܓܪܐ ܢܤܒ ܘܟܢܫ ܦܐܪܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܙܪܘܥܐ ܘܚܨܘܕܐ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܢܚܕܘܢ ܀ ³⁷ܒܗܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܕܐܚܪܝܢ ܗܘ ܙܪܥ ܘܐܚܪܝܢ ܚܨܕ ܀ ³⁸ܐܢܐ ܫܕܪܬܟܘܢ ܠܡܚܨܕ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐܝܬܘܢ ܒܗ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܐܝܘ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܥܠܬܘܢ ܥܠ ܥܡܠܗܘܢ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܀ (SYP)

40 John 4:33-38 ³³Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? ³⁴Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. ³⁵Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. ³⁶And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. ³⁷And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. ³⁸I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.(KJV)

Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and look at the fields which have turned white and have long been ready for the harvest. ³⁶And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruits to life everlasting, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. ³⁷For in this case the saying is true, One sows and another reaps. ³⁸I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; for others labored, and you have entered into their labor. 40 John 4:33-38 ³³So the disciples said to one another, "Has any one brought him food?" ³⁴Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. ³⁵Do you not say, `There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see how the fields are already white for harvest. <sup>36</sup>He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. <sup>37</sup>For here the saying holds true, `One sows and another reaps.' ³⁸I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."(RSV)

40 John 4:33-38 ³³Then his disciples said to each other, "Could someone have brought him food?"

³⁴"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. ³⁵Do you not say, `Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. <sup>36</sup>Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. <sup>37</sup>Thus the saying `One sows and another reaps' is true. ³⁸I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."(NIV)
