40 John 4:33-38 33Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.(KJV)

40 John 4:33-38 33Therefore said the disciples 1 to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35Say not ye, There are yet 4 months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37And herein is that saying true, 1 soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.(KJV/NC)

40 John 4:33-38 33The disciples therefore said one to another, Hath any man brought him aught to eat? 34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work. 35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest. 36He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor. (ASV)

40 John 4:33-38 33The disciples said among themselves, What! did any man bring him something to eat? 34Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35Do you not say that after four months comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and look at the fields which have turned white and have long been ready for the harvest. 36And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruits to life everlasting, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. 37For in this case the saying is true, One sows and another reaps. 38I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; for others labored, and you have entered into their labor. (LAM)

40 John 4:33-38 33So the disciples said to one another, "Has any one brought him food?" 34Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. 35Do you not say, `There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see how the fields are already white for harvest. 36He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. 37For here the saying holds true, `One sows and another reaps.' 38I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."(RSV)

40 John 4:33-38 33Then his disciples said to each other, "Could someone have brought him food?"

34"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35Do you not say, `Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37Thus the saying `One sows and another reaps' is true. 38I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."(NIV)

40 John 4:33-38 33The disciples therefore said one to another, 'Has anyone brought him something to eat?'

34Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. 35Don't youP say, 'There are yet four months until the harvest?' Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. 36He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37For in this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.' 38I sent you to reap that for which youP haven't labored. Others have labored, and youP have entered into their labor.'(WEB)

40 John 4:33-38 33The disciples therefore said one to another, 'Has anyone brought him something to eat?'

34Yeshua said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. 35Don't you say, 'There are yet four months until the harvest?' Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. 36He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37For in this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.' 38I sent you to reap that for which you haven't labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.'(WEB/HNV)

40 John 4:33-38 33The disciples said among themselves, What! Did any man bring him something to eat? 34Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35Do you not say that after 4 months comes the harvest? Look, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and look at the fields which have turned white and have long been ready for the harvest. 36And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruits to life everlasting, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. 37For in this case the saying is true, One sows and another reaps. 38I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; for others labored, and you have entered into their labor.
