51 Galatians 1:1-24 1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14And profited in the Jews religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mothers womb, and called me by his grace, 16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: 17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. 19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lords brother. 20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24And they glorified God in me.(KJV)

51 Galatians 1:1-24 1PAUL, an apostle, not sent by men nor appointed by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead, 2And all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia: 3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God our Father; 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6¶ I am surprised how soon you have turned to another gospel, away from Christ who has called you by his grace, 7A gospel which does not even exist; howbeit, there are men who have stirred you up and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9As I have said before, so say I now again, If any man preaches any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed.

10¶ Do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I tried to please men, I should not be a servant of Christ. 11But I want you to know, my brethren, that the gospel which I preached was not from men. 12For I did not receive it nor learn it from man, but through the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13You have heard of the manner of my life in time past in the Jews' religion, how beyond measure I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it; 14And how that I was far more advanced in the Jews' religion than many of my age among the people of my race; for above all, I was especially zealous for the doctrines of my forefathers. 15But when it pleased God, who had chosen me from my birth and called me by his grace, 16To reveal his Son to me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately disclose it to any human being; 17Neither did I go up to Jerusalem to them who had been apostles before me; but instead I went to Arabia and returned again to Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Kepa, and stayed with him fifteen days. 19But I did not see any one of the other apostles except James the brother of our Lord. 20Now the things which I write to you, behold, I confess before God, I do not lie. 21After that I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22And I was unknown by face to the churches of Christ in Judea. 23For they had heard only this much: that he who had persecuted us before now preached the faith which previously he tried to destroy. 24And they praised God because of me. 51 Galatians 1:1-24 1Paul an apostle--not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead-- 2and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia:

3Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father; 5to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and turning to a different gospel-- 7not that there is another gospel, but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9As we have said before, so now I say again, If any one is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed.

10Am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.

11For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not man's gospel. 12For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it; 14and I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers. 15But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and had called me through his grace, 16was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not confer with flesh and blood, 17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia; and again I returned to Damascus.

18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and remained with him fifteen days. 19But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord's brother. 20(In what I am writing to you, before God, I do not lie!) 21Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cili'cia. 22And I was still not known by sight to the churches of Christ in Judea; 23they only heard it said, "He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." 24And they glorified God because of me.(RSV)

51 Galatians 1:1-24 1Paul, an apostle -- sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead -- 2and all the brothers with me, To the churches in Galatia:

3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel -- 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

10Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

11I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. 12I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

13For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. 14I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews of my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. 15But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased 16to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, 17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.

18Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Peter and stayed with him fifteen days. 19I saw none of the other apostles -- only James, the Lord's brother. 20I assure you before God that what I am writing you is no lie. 21Later I went to Syria and Cilicia. 22I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23They only heard the report: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." 24And they praised God because of me.(NIV)

51 Galatians 1:1-24 1Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead), 2and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia: 3Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father' 5to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

6I marvel that youP are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel; 7and there isn't another gospel. Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ. 8But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any gospel other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. 9As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any gospel other than that which youP received, let him be cursed. 10For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ. 11But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Gospel which was preached by me, that it is not according to man. 12For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For youP have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it. 14I advanced in the Jews' religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. 15But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace, 16to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn't immediately confer with flesh and blood, 17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days. 19But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord's brother. 20Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I'm not lying. 21Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia. 22I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ, 23but they only heard: 'He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.' 24And they glorified God in me.(WEB)

51 Galatians 1:1-24 1Paul, an emissary (not from men, neither through man, but through Yeshua the Messiah, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead), 2and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia: 3Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, 4who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father' 5to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

6I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Messiah to a different 'good news'; 7and there isn't another 'good news.' Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Messiah. 8But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim to you any 'good news' other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. 9As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any 'good news' other than that which you received, let him be cursed. 10For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men?
