50 First Corinthians 5:1-13
1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his fathers wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.(KJV)

50 First Corinthians 5:1-13
1It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one of you hath his father's wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he that had done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already as though I were present judged him that hath so wrought this thing,
4in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, even Christ:
8wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators;
10not at all meaning with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world:
11but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.
12For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.(ASV)
50 First Corinthians 5:1-13
1IT is reported that immorality is common among you, and such immorality as is not known among pagans, that even a son should take his father's wife.
2But instead of boasting as you have done, rather had you sat down mourning that he who has done this deed might have been removed from among you.
3For while I am far away from you in body, yet I am near you in spirit, and I have already judged, as though I were present, him who has done this deed.
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ gather together, and I will be with you in spirit and with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5So that you shall deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his body, in order that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
6Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven will leaven the whole lump?
7¶ Clean out therefore the old leaven, so that you may be a new lump, just as you are unleavened. For our passover is Christ, who was sacrificed for our sake.
8Therefore let us celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, neither with the leaven of evil and bitterness, but with the leaven of purity and sanctity.
9¶ I wrote to you in an epistle not to associate with immoral persons.
10I do not mean that you should separate completely from all the immoral people of this world or from the fraudulent and extortioners or from idolaters; otherwise you would be obliged to leave this world.
11Now what I have written to you is this: you are not to associate with any person who is known as a brother and yet is immoral or fraudulent or an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner; with such a person you must not break bread.
12For what business have I to judge those who are outside the church? But you may judge those who are within the church.
13God will judge the outsiders. Therefore, put away from among yourselves those wicked persons.

50 First Corinthians 5:1-13
1It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and of a kind that is not found even among pagans; for a man is living with his father's wife.
2And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.
3For though absent in body I am present in spirit, and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment
4in the name of the Lord Jesus on the man who has done such a thing. When you are assembled, and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
5you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
7Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed.
8Let us, therefore, celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with immoral men;
10not at all meaning the immoral of this world, or the greedy and robbers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
11But rather I wrote to you not to associate with any one who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or robber--not even to eat with such a one.
12For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
13God judges those outside. "Drive out the wicked person from among you."(RSV)
50 First Corinthians 5:1-13
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife.
2And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this?
3Even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. And I have already passed judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present.
4When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,
5hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.
6Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough?
7Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast -- as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
8Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.
9I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people --
10not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
11But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."(NIV)
