Romans Replay 4 Numbers
45 Philippians 1:1-30
  1Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
12But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
13So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
14And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
19For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
20According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
23For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
24Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
25And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
26That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
27Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.(KJV)

45 Philippians 1:1-30
  1PAUL and Timotheus, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Jesus Christ who are at Philippi, together with the elders and deacons:
2Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.
3¶ I give thanks to my God for your steady remembrance of me.
4In all my prayers for you, I make supplication with joy,
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the very first day until now,
6Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun the good work among you, the same will continue it until the day of our Lord Jesus Christ;
7¶ And this is the right way for me to think of you all, for I have you in my heart because through all my imprisonment and my defense and confirmation of the truth of the gospel, you have been partakers with me of grace.
8For God is my witness of how much I love you through the love of Jesus Christ.
9¶ And for this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all spiritual understanding,
10So that you may choose the things that are excellent and that you may be pure and without offence in the day of Christ,
11And be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and the praise of God.
12¶ Now I would have you know this, my brethren, that my work has been greatly furthered by the gospel;
13And the reasons for my imprisonments have been made manifest by Christ to all Caesar's court and to all men.
14And many of the brethren in our Lord have grown confident by my imprisonment and, with increasing boldness, speak the word of God without fear.
15While some of them preach only because of envy and strife, others preach Christ in good will and love;
16For they know that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;
17But those who preach Christ out of contention, do it not sincerely, but do it expecting to increase the hardship of my imprisonment.
18And I have rejoiced and still do rejoice in this, that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached.
19For I know that through your prayers and the gift of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, all these things will ultimately turn out for my salvation,
20Just as it is my earnest hope and expectation that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but that openly as always, so also now will Christ be magnified through my body, whether in life or death.
21¶ For Christ is my life, and to die is gain.
22Even if in this life of the flesh my labors bear fruits, I do not know what to choose.
23For I am torn between two desires, the one to depart, that I may be with Christ, which is far better;
24Nevertheless, for me to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
25And this I surely know, that I shall be spared and remain for your joy and for the furtherance of your faith.
26So that when I come again to you, your rejoicing in Jesus Christ will abound through me.
27¶ Only conduct yourselves as becomes the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or whether I am far away, I may hear of your good conduct, that you are standing firm in one spirit and in one soul, and triumphing together through the faith of the gospel,
28And that in nothing are you terrified by our adversaries, whose conduct is the sign of their own destruction, but your salvation, and this is from God.
29For it has been given to you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for his sake,
30And that you may endure such trials as those which you have seen me in and such as you now hear that I am in.

45 Philippians 1:1-30
  1Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philip'pi, with the bishops and deacons:
2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
4always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
5thankful for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
6And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
7It is right for me to feel thus about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.
8For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
9And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,
10so that you may approve what is excellent, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
11filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12I want you to know, brethren, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel,
13so that it has become known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ;
14and most of the brethren have been made confident in the Lord because of my imprisonment, and are much more bold to speak the word of God without fear.
15Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will.
16The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel;
17the former proclaim Christ out of partisanship, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment.
18What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in that I rejoice.
19Yes, and I shall rejoice. For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance,
20as it is my eager expectation and hope that I shall not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22If it is to be life in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.
23I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.
24But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.
25Convinced of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,
26so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
27Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,
28and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear omen to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.
29For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake,
30engaged in the same conflict which you saw and now hear to be mine.(RSV)
45 Philippians 1:1-30
  1Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:
2Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3I thank my God every time I remember you.
4In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
7It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.
8God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
9And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,
10so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,
11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ -- to the glory and praise of God.
12Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.
13As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.
14Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.
15It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.
16The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.
17The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.
18But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
19for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
22If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!
23I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
24but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
25Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,
26so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.
27Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel
28without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved -- and that by God.
29For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,
30since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.(NIV)
