26 Psalms 85:1-13 ¹לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ׀ לִבְנֵי־ קֹ֬רַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃ ²רָצִ֣יתָ יְהוָ֣ה אַרְצֶ֑ךָ שַׁ֝֗בְתָּ יַעֲקֹֽב׃ ³נָ֭שָׂאתָ עֲוֹ֣ן עַמֶּ֑ךָ כִּסִּ֖יתָ כָל־ חַטָּאתָ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃ ⁴אָסַ֥פְתָּ כָל־ עֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ הֱ֝שִׁיב֗וֹתָ מֵחֲר֥וֹן אַפֶּֽךָ׃ ⁵שׁ֭וּבֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֑נוּ וְהָפֵ֖ר כַּֽעַסְךָ֣ עִמָּֽנוּ׃ ⁶הַלְעוֹלָ֥ם תֶּֽאֱנַף־ בָּ֑נוּ תִּמְשֹׁ֥ךְ אַ֝פְּךָ֗ לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃ ⁷הֲֽלֹא־ אַ֭תָּה תָּשׁ֣וּב תְּחַיֵּ֑נוּ וְ֝עַמְּךָ֗ יִשְׂמְחוּ־ בָֽךְ׃ ⁸הַרְאֵ֣נוּ יְהוָ֣ה חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝יֶשְׁעֲךָ֗ תִּתֶּן־ לָֽנוּ׃ ⁹אֶשְׁמְעָ֗ה מַה־ יְדַבֵּר֮ הָאֵ֪ל׀ יְה֫וָ֥ה כִּ֤י׀ יְדַבֵּ֬ר שָׁל֗וֹם אֶל־ עַמּ֥וֹ וְאֶל־ חֲסִידָ֑יו וְֽאַל־ יָשׁ֥וּבוּ לְכִסְלָֽה׃ ¹⁰אַ֤ךְ׀ קָר֣וֹב לִירֵאָ֣יו יִשְׁע֑וֹ לִשְׁכֹּ֖ן כָּב֣וֹד בְּאַרְצֵֽנוּ׃ ¹¹חֶֽסֶד־ וֶאֱמֶ֥ת נִפְגָּ֑שׁוּ צֶ֖דֶק וְשָׁל֣וֹם נָשָֽׁקוּ׃ ¹²אֱ֭מֶת מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תִּצְמָ֑ח וְ֝צֶ֗דֶק מִשָּׁמַ֥יִם נִשְׁקָֽף׃ ¹³גַּם־ יְ֭הוָה יִתֵּ֣ן הַטּ֑וֹב וְ֝אַרְצֵ֗נוּ תִּתֵּ֥ן יְבוּלָֽהּ׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 85:1

26 Psalms 85:1-13 ¹LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

²Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

³Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

⁴Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

⁵Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

⁶Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁷Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

⁸I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁹Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

¹²Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

¹³Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.(KJV)

Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

⁴Turn us, O God of our salvation,

And cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁵Wilt thou be angry with us for ever?

Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

⁶Wilt thou not quicken us again,

That thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁷Show us thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah,

And grant us thy salvation.

⁸I will hear what God Jehovah will speak;

For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:

But let them not turn again to folly.

⁹Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him,

That glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together;

Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹¹Truth springeth out of the earth;

And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

¹²Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good;

And our land shall yield its increase.

¹³Righteousness shall go before him,(ASV)

⁸¶ We will hear what the LORD our God will speak; for he will speak peace to his people and to his saints, that they may not turn again to folly. ⁹Surely his salvation is near them that reverence him; let his glory dwell in our land. ¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. ¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. ¹²Yea, the LORD shall give his goodness; and the land shall yield its fruits. ¹³And the righteous shall go before him; and he shall establish his ways upon the earth. (LAM)

A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. ²LORD, thou wast favorable to thy land; thou didst restore the fortunes of Jacob. ³Thou didst forgive the iniquity of thy people; thou didst pardon all their sin. [Selah] ⁴Thou didst withdraw all thy wrath; thou didst turn from thy hot anger. ⁵Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away thy indignation toward us! ⁶Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou prolong thy anger to all generations? ⁷Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee? ⁸Show us thy steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. ⁹Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints, to those who turn to him in their hearts. ¹⁰Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. ¹¹Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other. ¹²Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky. ¹³Yea, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. [ (Psalms 85:14) Righteousness will go before him, and make his footsteps a way. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 85:1-13 ¹Psalm 85 For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. You showed favor to your land, O LORD; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.

²You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. Selah

³You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.

⁴Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us. ⁵Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?

⁶Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

⁷Show us your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. ⁸I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints -- but let them not return to folly.

⁹Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.

¹¹Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.

¹²The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.

¹³Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.(NIV)

⁸We will hear what Yahvah our God will speak; for he will speak peace to his people and to his saints, that they may not turn again to folly. ⁹Surely his salvation is near those who reverence him; let his glory live in our land. ¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. ¹¹Truth will spring out of the earth; and righteousness will look down from heaven. ¹²Yes, Yahvah will give his goodness; and the land will yield its fruits. ¹³And the righteous will go before him; and he will establish his ways on the earth.
