26 Psalms 77:1-20 1I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

3I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

7Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

8Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

11I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

13Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

14Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

17The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

18The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.(KJV)

26 Psalms 77:1-20 1I will cry unto God with my voice,

Even unto God with my voice; and he will give ear unto me.

2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord:

My hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not;

My soul refused to be comforted.

3I remember God, and am disquieted:

I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed.

Selah

4Thou holdest mine eyes watching:

I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5I have considered the days of old,

The years of ancient times.

6I call to remembrance my song in the night:

I commune with mine own heart;

And my spirit maketh diligent search.

7Will the Lord cast off for ever?

And will he be favorable no more?

8Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever?

Doth his promise fail for evermore?

9Hath God forgotten to be gracious?

Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?

Selah

10And I said, This is my infirmity;

But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.

11I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah;

For I will remember thy wonders of old.

12I will meditate also upon all thy work,

And muse on thy doings.

13Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary:

Who is a great god like unto God?

14Thou art the God that doest wonders:

Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples.

15Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people,

The sons of Jacob and Joseph.

Selah

16The waters saw thee, O God;

The waters saw thee, they were afraid:

The depths also trembled.

17The clouds poured out water;

The skies sent out a sound:

Thine arrows also went abroad.

18The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind;

The lightnings lightened the world:

The earth trembled and shook.

19Thy way was in the sea,

And thy paths in the great waters,

And thy footsteps were not known.

20Thou leddest thy people like a flock,(ASV)

26 Psalms 77:1-20 1I CRIED to God with my voice, and he heard me; I have lifted up my voice to him, and he answered me. 2In the day of my trouble I sought the LORD; my torment continued through the night, and ceased not; there was no comforter for my soul. 3When I remembered, O God, I was troubled; I meditated, and my spirit was overwhelmed. 4My eyes are dazed; I am dumb so that I cannot speak. 5I have considered the days of old; I am mindful of the years of ancient times. 6I meditated far into the night; I communed with mine own heart; I have examined my soul and said, 7Has the LORD forsaken me for ever? and will he be favorable no more? 8Is his mercy gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore? 9Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? 10And I said, This is my infirmity; it is another visitation of the power of the most High.

11¶ I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember thy wonders of old. 12I will meditate also of all thy works, and think of thy skillful doings. 13Thy way, O God, is holy; there is none so great as our God. 14Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the people. 15Thou hast with thine arm saved thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. 16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid; the depths also were troubled. 17The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound; thine arrows also flew around. 18The voice of thy thunder was in the heavens; the lightnings lightened the world; the earth trembled and shook. 19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path is in the great waters, but thy footsteps are not seen. 20Thou didst lead thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron. 26 Psalms 77:1-20 1To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. 2I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, that he may hear me. 3In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. 4I think of God, and I moan; I meditate, and my spirit faints. [Selah] 5Thou dost hold my eyelids from closing; I am so troubled that I cannot speak. 6I consider the days of old, I remember the years long ago. 7I commune with my heart in the night; I meditate and search my spirit: 8"Will the Lord spurn for ever, and never again be favorable? 9Has his steadfast love for ever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time? 10Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?" [Selah] 11And I say, "It is my grief that the right hand of the Most High has changed." 12I will call to mind the deeds of the LORD; yea, I will remember thy wonders of old. 13I will meditate on all thy work, and muse on thy mighty deeds. 14Thy way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? 15Thou art the God who workest wonders, who hast manifested thy might among the peoples. 16Thou didst with thy arm redeem thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. [Selah] 17When the waters saw thee, O God, when the waters saw thee, they were afraid, yea, the deep trembled. 18The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; thy arrows flashed on every side. 19The crash of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; thy lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook. 20Thy way was through the sea, thy path through the great waters; yet thy footprints were unseen. [ (Psalms 77:21) Thou didst lead thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 77:1-20 1Psalm 77 For the director of music. For Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A psalm. I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me.

2When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands and my soul refused to be comforted.

3I remembered you, O God, and I groaned; I mused, and my spirit grew faint. Selah 4You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak.

5I thought about the former days, the years of long ago;

6I remembered my songs in the night. My heart mused and my spirit inquired:

7"Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again?

8Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time?

9Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?" Selah

10Then I thought, "To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High."

11I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.

12I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.

13Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?

14You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

15With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

16The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed.

17The clouds poured down water, the skies resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. 18Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.

19Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.

20You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.(NIV)

26 Psalms 77:1-20 1My cry goes to God!
Indeed, I cry to God for help,
And for him to listen to me.

My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn't get tired.
My soul refused to be comforted.

6I remember my song in the night.
I consider in my own heart;
My spirit diligently inquires:

7'Will the Lord reject us forever?
Will he be favorable no more?

8Has his loving kindness vanished forever?
Does his promise fail for generations?

9Has God forgotten to be gracious?
Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?'

Selah.

The years of the right hand of the Most High.'

11I will remember Yah's deeds;
