21 Jonah 26 Psalms 76:1-12
26 Psalms 76:1-12
2In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. 3There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah. 4Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. 5The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands. 6At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep. 7Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? 8Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still, 9When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah. 10Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. 11Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. 12He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.(KJV) 26 Psalms 76:1-12

26 Psalms 76:1-12
2His tent is in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. 3There he broke the flashing arrows, the shields and the swords, the weapons of war. Selah 4You are resplendent with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game. 5Valiant men lie plundered, they sleep their last sleep; not one of the warriors can lift his hands. 6At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both horse and chariot lie still. 7You alone are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry? 8From heaven you pronounced judgment, and the land feared and was quiet -- 9when you, O God, rose up to judge, to save all the afflicted of the land. Selah 10Surely your wrath against men brings you praise, and the survivors of your wrath are restrained. 11Make vows to the LORD your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared. 12He breaks the spirit of rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth.(NIV) 26 Psalms 76:1-12
