13 Isaiah 26 Psalms 68:1-35
26 Psalms 68:1-35
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. 5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. 6God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. 7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: 8The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 10Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. 11The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. 12Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. 13Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. 14When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon. 15The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. 16Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. 17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. 18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. 19Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. 20He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. 21But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. 22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: 23That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. 24They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary. 25The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. 26Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. 27There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. 28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. 29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. 30Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war. 31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. 32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah: 33To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. 34Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. 35O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.(KJV) 26 Psalms 68:1-35

Let them also that hate him flee before him. 2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness. 4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; His name is Jehovah; and exult ye before him. 5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation. 6God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah 8The earth trembled, The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God: Yon Sinai trembled at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, Thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 10Thy congregation dwelt therein: Thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor. 11The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host. 12Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil. 13When ye lie among the sheepfolds, It is as the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold. 14When the Almighty scattered kings therein, It was as when it snoweth in Zalmon. 15A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan. 16Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, Jehovah will dwell in it for ever. 17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the sanctuary. 18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, among the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell with them.
19Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah 20God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death. 21But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness. 22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring them again from the depths of the sea; 23That thou mayest crush them, dipping thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies. 24They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary. 25The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels. 26Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, ye that are of the fountain of Israel. 27There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah and their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. 29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee. 30Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war. 31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God. 32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; Selah 33To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice. 34Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies. 35O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places:(ASV) 26 Psalms 68:1-35
7¶ O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness, 8The earth shook, the heavens also lowered at the presence of God; even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance when it was weary. 10Thy living creatures have dwelt therein; thou O God, hast provided of thy goodness for the poor. 11The LORD shall give good tidings with great power. 12Then the kings of armies shall be defeated; and the household of God shall divide the spoil. 13Though you sleep among thorns, yet shall you be protected as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. 14When God appointed a king over Zion, it became white like snow 15¶ Over Salmon, the mountain of God, over the mountains of Bashan and over the mountain ridges. 16What do you want, O you mountains of Bashan? This is the ridge which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. 17God rides with the host of angels; the LORD is among them, as in Sinai, in his holy place. 18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast carried away captives; thou hast blessed men with gifts; but rebellious men shall not dwell before the presence of God. 19Blessed be the LORD, for he has chosen us as his heritage, even the God of our salvation. 20He that is our God is the God of salvation, the LORD God who has the power of life and death. 21But God shall sever the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of the head of those who persist in their sins. 22¶ The LORD said, I will rescue my people from the cliffs, I will bring my people from the depths of the sea; 23That thy foot shall be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. 24They have seen thy goings, O God, even the goings of my God and my holy King. 25The princes went before, the singers followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. 26Bless God in the congregations, even the LORD, you that are of the fountain of Israel. 27There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their governors, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. 28Command, O God, thy strength; strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. 29Out of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. 30Rebuke the wild beasts of the marshes, the multitude of the wild bulls, the idols of the Gentiles which are covered with silver; scatter the people who delight in war. 31Ambassadors shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands to God. 32¶ Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises to the LORD. 33To him who rides upon the heavens of heavens; out of the east he gives his voice, and that a mighty voice. 34Ascribe glory unto God; his excellency is over Israel and his strength is in the heavens. 35O God, thou art honoured out of thy holy place; the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God. (LAM) 26 Psalms 68:1-35
26 Psalms 68:1-35
2As smoke is blown away by the wind, may you blow them away; as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God. 3But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. 4Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds -- his name is the LORD -- and rejoice before him. 5A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. 6God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. 7When you went out before your people, O God, when you marched through the wasteland, Selah 8the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel. 9You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance. 10Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor. 11The Lord announced the word, and great was the company of those who proclaimed it: 12"Kings and armies flee in haste; in the camps men divide the plunder. 13Even while you sleep among the campfires, the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver, its feathers with shining gold." 14When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land, it was like snow fallen on Zalmon. 15The mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains; rugged are the mountains of Bashan. 16Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the LORD himself will dwell forever? 17The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary. 18When you ascended on high, you led captives in your train; you received gifts from men, even from the rebellious -- that you, O LORD God, might dwell there. 19Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah 20Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death. 21Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins. 22The Lord says, "I will bring them from Bashan; I will bring them from the depths of the sea, 23that you may plunge your feet in the blood of your foes, while the tongues of your dogs have their share." 24Your procession has come into view, O God, the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary. 25In front are the singers, after them the musicians; with them are the maidens playing tambourines. 26Praise God in the great congregation; praise the LORD in the assembly of Israel. 27There is the little tribe of Benjamin, leading them, there the great throng of Judah's princes, and there the princes of Zebulun and of Naphtali. 28Summon your power, O God; show us your strength, O God, as you have done before. 29Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts. 30Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may it bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war. 31Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God. 32Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, Selah 33to him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice. 34Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies. 35You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!(NIV) 26 Psalms 68:1-35
