26 Psalms 66:1-20 1Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

2Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

3Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

4All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

5Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

6He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

7He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

8O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

9Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

10For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

11Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

12Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

13I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

14Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

15I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

16Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

17I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

18If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

19But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.(KJV)

26 Psalms 66:1-20 1MAKE a joyful noise unto God, all lands. 2Sing the honor of his name; sing the honor of his majesty. 3Say unto God, How wonderful are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. 4All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thy name; they shall glorify thy name forever. 5They shall say, Come and see the works of God; for his wonders are great toward the children of men. 6He turns the sea into dry land: they crossed through the river on foot; there did we rejoice in him. 7He rules by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves.

8¶ O bless our God, you people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard, 9Who holds our soul in life, and suffers not our feet to be moved. 10For thou, O God, hast proved us; thou hast tried us as silver is tried. 11Thou didst bring us into the net; thou didst lay affliction upon our loins. 12Thou hast caused us to be in servitude; we went through fire and through water; finally thou didst bring us out into a comfortable place.

13¶ I will go into thy house with gifts; I will pay thee my vows. 14Which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble. 15I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the savour of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. 16Come and hear, all you servants of God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul. 17I cried to him with my mouth, and he has answered me; I extolled him with my tongue. 18If thou behold iniquity in my heart, O LORD, deliver me not. 19But verily God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. 20Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer nor turned his mercy from me. 26 Psalms 66:1-20 1To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm. 2Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth; 3sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! 4Say to God, "How terrible are thy deeds! So great is thy power that thy enemies cringe before thee. 5All the earth worships thee; they sing praises to thee, sing praises to thy name." [Selah] 6Come and see what God has done: he is terrible in his deeds among men. 7He turned the sea into dry land; men passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him, 8who rules by his might for ever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations-- let not the rebellious exalt themselves. [Selah] 9Bless our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard, 10who has kept us among the living, and has not let our feet slip. 11For thou, O God, hast tested us; thou hast tried us as silver is tried. 12Thou didst bring us into the net; thou didst lay affliction on our loins; 13thou didst let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet thou hast brought us forth to a spacious place. 14I will come into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay thee my vows, 15that which my lips uttered and my mouth promised when I was in trouble. 16I will offer to thee burnt offerings of fatlings, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. [Selah] 17Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me. 18I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue. 19If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. 20But truly God has listened; he has given heed to the voice of my prayer. [ (Psalms 66:21) Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me! ] (RSV)

8Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;
