26 Psalms 60:1-12 1O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

3Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

4Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

5That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

6God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

8Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

9Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

10Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

11Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.(KJV)

Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.

5That thy beloved may be delivered,

Save with thy right hand, and answer us.

6God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult;

I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;

Ephraim also is the defence of my head;

Judah is my sceptre.

8Moab is my washpot;

Upon Edom will I cast my shoe:

Philistia, shout thou because of me.

9Who will bring me into the strong city?

Who hath led me unto Edom?

10Hast not thou, O God, cast us off?

And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

11Give us help against the adversary;

For vain is the help of man.

12Through God we shall do valiantly;(ASV)

26 Psalms 60:1-12 1O GOD, thou hast forsaken us, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased with us; O turn thyself to us again. 2Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it; heal the breaches thereof, for it hath weakened. 3Thou hast shown thy people hardships; thou hast made us to drink the dregs of wine. 4Thou hast wrought a miracle to them that reverence thee, so that they need not flee from the bow. 5That thy beloved may be prepared, save with thy right hand, and hear me.

6¶ God has spoken in his holiness: I will be strong, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth. 7Gilead is mine and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my king. 8Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I levy tribute; over Philistia will I triumph. 9Who will lead me into Edom? Who will bring me into the strong city? 10For behold, O God, thou hadst cast us off, and thou didst not go before us with our armies. 11Give us strength against our enemies; for vain is the help of man. 12Through God we shall do valiantly; for he it is who shall tread down our enemies. (LAM)

26 Psalms 60:1-12 1To the choirmaster: according to Shushan Eduth. A Miktam of David; for instruction; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return killed twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. 2O God, thou hast rejected us, broken our defenses; thou hast been angry; oh, restore us. 3Thou hast made the land to quake, thou hast rent it open; repair its breaches, for it totters. 4Thou hast made thy people suffer hard things; thou hast given us wine to drink that made us reel. 5Thou hast set up a banner for those who fear thee, to rally to it from the bow. [Selah] 6That thy beloved may be delivered, give victory by thy right hand and answer us! 7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Vale of Succoth. 8Gilead is mine; Manas'seh is mine; E'phraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter. 9Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph." 10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 11Hast thou not rejected us, O God? Thou dost not go forth, O God, with our armies. 12O grant us help against the foe, for vain is the help of man! [ (Psalms 60:13) With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 60:1-12 1Psalm 60 For the director of music. To the tune of "The Lily of the Covenant." A miktam of David. For teaching. When he fought Aram Naharaim and Aram Zobah, and when Joab returned and struck down twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. You have rejected us, O God, and burst forth upon us; you have been angry -- now restore us!

2You have shaken the land and torn it open; mend its fractures, for it is quaking.

3You have shown your people desperate times; you have given us wine that makes us stagger.

4But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow. Selah

5Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. 6God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. 7Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.

8Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."

9Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?

11Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.

12With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.(NIV)

26 Psalms 60:1-12 1God, you have rejected us.
You have broken us down.

You have been angry.
Restore us, again.

2You have made the land tremble.
You have torn it.

Mend its fractures,
For it quakes.

3You have shown your people hard things.
You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.

4You have given a banner to those who fear you,
That it may be displayed because of the truth.

Selah.

5So that your beloved may be delivered,
Save with your right hand, and answer us.

I will divide Shechem,
And measure out the valley of Succoth.

7Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine.
Ephraim also is the defense of my head.
Judah is my scepter.

8Moab is my wash basin.
I will throw my shoe on Edom.
I shout in triumph over Philistia.'

9Who will bring me into the strong city?
Who has led me to Edom?

10Haven't you, God, rejected us?
You don't go out with our armies, God.

11Give us help against the adversary,
For the help of man is vain.

12Through God we shall do valiantly,
For it is he who will tread down our adversaries.(WEB)
