26 Psalms 56:1-13 ¹לַמְנַצֵּ֤חַ׀ עַל־ י֬וֹנַת אֵ֣לֶם רְ֭חֹקִים לְדָוִ֣ד מִכְתָּ֑ם בֶּֽאֱחֹ֨ז אֹת֖וֹ פְלִשְׁתִּ֣ים בְּגַֽת׃ ²חָנֵּ֣נִי אֱ֭לֹהִים כִּֽי־ שְׁאָפַ֣נִי אֱנ֑וֹשׁ כָּל־ הַ֝יּ֗וֹם לֹחֵ֥ם יִלְחָצֵֽנִי׃ ³שָׁאֲפ֣וּ שׁ֭וֹרְרַי כָּל־ הַיּ֑וֹם כִּֽי־ רַבִּ֨ים לֹחֲמִ֖ים לִ֣י מָרֽוֹם׃ ⁴י֥וֹם אִירָ֑א אֲ֝נִ֗י אֵלֶ֥יךָ אֶבְטָֽח׃ ⁵בֵּאלֹהִים֮ אֲהַלֵּ֪ל דְּבָ֫ר֥וֹ בֵּאלֹהִ֣ים בָּ֭טַחְתִּי לֹ֣א אִירָ֑א מַה־ יַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה בָשָׂ֣ר לִֽי׃ ⁶כָּל־ הַ֭יּוֹם דְּבָרַ֣י יְעַצֵּ֑בוּ עָלַ֖י כָּל־ מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֣ם לָרָֽע׃ ⁷יָג֤וּרוּ׀ הֵ֭מָּה עֲקֵבַ֣י יִשְׁמֹ֑רוּ כַּ֝אֲשֶׁ֗ר קִוּ֥וּ נַפְשִֽׁי׃ ⁸עַל־ אָ֥וֶן פַּלֶּט־ לָ֑מוֹ בְּ֝אַ֗ף עַמִּ֤ים׀ הוֹרֵ֬ד אֱלֹהִֽים׃ ⁹נֹדִי֮ סָפַ֪רְתָּ֫ה אָ֥תָּה שִׂ֣ימָה דִמְעָתִ֣י בְנֹאדֶ֑ךָ הֲ֝לֹ֗א בְּסִפְרָתֶֽךָ׃ ¹⁰אָ֥֨ז יָ֘שׁ֤וּבוּ אוֹיְבַ֣י אָ֭חוֹר בְּי֣וֹם אֶקְרָ֑א זֶה־ יָ֝דַ֗עְתִּי כִּֽי־ אֱלֹהִ֥ים לִֽי׃ ¹¹בֵּֽ֭אלֹהִים אֲהַלֵּ֣ל דָּבָ֑ר בַּ֝יהוָ֗ה אֲהַלֵּ֥ל דָּבָֽר׃ ¹²בֵּֽאלֹהִ֣ים בָּ֭טַחְתִּי לֹ֣א אִירָ֑א מַה־ יַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה אָדָ֣ם לִֽי׃ ¹³עָלַ֣י אֱלֹהִ֣ים נְדָרֶ֑יךָ אֲשַׁלֵּ֖ם תּוֹדֹ֣ת לָֽךְ׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 56:1

26 Psalms 56:1-13 ¹Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

²Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

³What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

⁴In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

⁵Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

⁶They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

⁷Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

⁸Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

⁹When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

¹⁰In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

¹¹In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

¹²Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

¹³For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?(KJV)

For they are many that fight proudly against me.

³What time I am afraid,

I will put my trust in thee.

⁴In God (I will praise his word),

In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid;

What can flesh do unto me?

⁵All the day long they wrest my words:

All their thoughts are against me for evil.

⁶They gather themselves together, they hide themselves,

They mark my steps,

Even as they have waited for my soul.

⁷Shall they escape by iniquity?

In anger cast down the peoples, O God.

⁸Thou numberest my wanderings:

Put thou my tears into thy bottle;

Are they not in thy book?

⁹Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call:

This I know, that God is for me.

¹⁰In God (I will praise his word),

In Jehovah (I will praise his word),

¹¹In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid;

What can man do unto me?

¹²Thy vows are upon me, O God:

I will render thank-offerings unto thee.

¹³For thou hast delivered my soul from death:(ASV)

26 Psalms 56:1-13 ¹BE merciful to me, O God; for man has trodden me under foot; all the day long the fighting oppresses me. ²Mine enemies have daily trodden me under foot; for many warriors have risen against me. ³I fear not during the day, because I trust in thee. ⁴In God I will be glorified, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what man can do to me. ⁵All the day long they conspired against me and they devised evil against me. ⁶They will wait in hiding, they will watch my steps, inasmuch as they wish for my death. ⁷He has no deliverer, they have said. Condemn them with the condemnation of the Gentiles.

⁸¶ O God, I have declared my faith unto thee; record thou my tears before thee in thy book. ⁹Then shall mine enemies turn back; and I will know I have a God. ¹⁰In God will I praise his word; in the LORD will I praise his word. ¹¹In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do to me. ¹²To thee shall I perform my vows, O God; I will offer them to thee with thank offering. ¹³For thou hast delivered my soul from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may be pleasing in thy sight, O God, in the land of the living. A Miktam of David, when the Philistines seized him in Gath. ²Be gracious to me, O God, for men trample upon me; all day long foemen oppress me; ³my enemies trample upon me all day long, for many fight against me proudly. ⁴When I am afraid, I put my trust in thee. ⁵In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust without a fear. What can flesh do to me? ⁶All day long they seek to injure my cause; all their thoughts are against me for evil. ⁷They band themselves together, they lurk, they watch my steps. As they have waited for my life, ⁸so recompense them for their crime; in wrath cast down the peoples, O God! ⁹Thou hast kept count of my tossings; put thou my tears in thy bottle! Are they not in thy book? ¹⁰Then my enemies will be turned back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. ¹¹In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise, ¹²in God I trust without a fear. What can man do to me? ¹³My vows to thee I must perform, O God; I will render thank offerings to thee. ²My slanderers pursue me all day long; many are attacking me in their pride.

³When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

⁴In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

⁵All day long they twist my words; they are always plotting to harm me.

⁶They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, eager to take my life.

⁷On no account let them escape; in your anger, O God, bring down the nations.

⁸Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll -- are they not in your record?

⁹Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me.

¹⁰In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise --

¹¹in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

¹²I am under vows to you, O God; I will present my thank offerings to you. ¹³For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.(NIV)

¹²Your vows are on me, God.
I will give thank offerings to you.

¹³For you have delivered my soul from death,
And prevented my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God in the light of the living.(WEB)

26 Psalms 56:1-13 ¹BE merciful to me, oh God; for man has trampled me under foot; all day long the fighting oppresses me. ²My enemies have daily trampled me under foot; for many warriors have risen against me. ³I do not fear during the day, because I trust in you. ⁴In God I will be glorified, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what man can do to me. ⁵All the day long they conspired against me and they devised evil against me. ⁶They will wait in hiding, they will watch my steps, inasmuch as they wish for my death. ⁷He has no deliverer, they have said, Condemn them with the condemnation of the Gentiles.

⁸Oh God, I have declared my faith to you; record my tears before you in your book. ⁹Then will my enemies turn back; and I will know I have a God. ¹⁰In God I will praise his word; in Yahvah I will praise his word. ¹¹In God I have put my trust; I will not fear what man can do to me. ¹²To you I will perform my vows, oh God; I will offer them to you with thank offerings. ¹³For you have delivered my soul from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may be pleasing in your sight, oh God, in the land of the living.
