26 Psalms 30:1-12 1I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

6And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

8I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.(KJV)

11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.(KJV/NC)

26 Psalms 30:1-12 1I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up,

And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2O Jehovah my God,

I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol;

Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his,

And give thanks to his holy memorial name.

5For his anger is but for a moment;

His favor is for a life-time:

Weeping may tarry for the night,

But joy cometh in the morning.

6As for me, I said in my prosperity,

I shall never be moved.

7Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong:

Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.

8I cried to thee, O Jehovah;

And unto Jehovah I made supplication:

9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit?

Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me:

Jehovah, be thou my helper.

11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;

Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.(ASV)

26 Psalms 30:1-12 1I WILL extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. 2O LORD, my God, I have sought thee, and thou hast healed me. 3Thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; thou hast saved me that I should not join those who go down to the pit. 4Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 5For there is rebuke in his anger and life in his good will; weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

6¶ In my security I said, I shall never be moved. 7O God, by thy favor thou hast increased my glory; thou didst turn away thy face, and I was troubled. 8I cried to thee, O LORD, and unto the LORD I made supplication. 9What profit is there in shedding my blood, when I go down to corruption? The dust will not praise thee and it will not declare thy truth. 10Hear, O God, and have mercy upon me; O LORD, be thou my helper. 11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into joy; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 12Therefore, I will sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD, my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. (LAM)

26 Psalms 30:1-12 1A Psalm of David. A Song at the dedication of the Temple. 2I will extol thee, O LORD, for thou hast drawn me up, and hast not let my foes rejoice over me. 3O LORD my God, I cried to thee for help, and thou hast healed me. 4O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol, restored me to life from among those gone down to the Pit. 5Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. 6For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. 7As for me, I said in my prosperity, "I shall never be moved." 8By thy favor, O LORD, thou hadst established me as a strong mountain; thou didst hide thy face, I was dismayed. 9To thee, O LORD, I cried; and to the LORD I made supplication: 10"What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the Pit? Will the dust praise thee? Will it tell of thy faithfulness? 11Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me! O LORD, be thou my helper!" 12Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, [ (Psalms 30:13) that my soul may praise thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 30:1-12 1I will exalt you, O LORD,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

2O LORD my God, I called to you for help
and you healed me.

3O LORD, you brought me up from the grave;
you spared me from going down into the pit.

4Sing to the LORD, you saints of his;
praise his holy name.

5For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;

weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

6When I felt secure, I said,
"I will never be shaken."

7O LORD, when you favored me,
you made my mountain stand firm;

but when you hid your face,
I was dismayed.

8To you, O LORD, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:

9"What gain is there in my destruction,
in my going down into the pit?

Will the dust praise you?
Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

10Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me;
O LORD, be my help."

11You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

12that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.(NIV)

26 Psalms 30:1-12 1I will extol you, Yahwehf , for you have raised me up,
And have not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2Yahwehf my God, I cried to you,

And you have healed me.

3Yahwehf , you have brought up my soul from Sheol.
You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4Sing praise to Yahweh, youP saints of his.
Give thanks to his holy name.

5For his anger is but for a moment;
His favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may stay for the night,
But joy comes in the morning.

'I shall never be moved.'

Yahwehf , be my helper.'

3LORDf , you have brought up my soul from Sheol.
You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4Sing praise to the LORD, you holy ones of his.
Give thanks to his holy name.

Shall the dust praise you?
Shall it declare your truth?

LORDf , be my helper.'
