26 Psalms 29:1-11 ¹מִזְמ֗וֹר לְדָ֫וִ֥ד הָב֣וּ לַֽ֭יהוָה בְּנֵ֣י אֵלִ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃ ²הָב֣וּ לַֽ֭יהוָה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה בְּהַדְרַת־ קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ ³ק֥וֹל יְהוָ֗ה עַל־ הַ֫מָּ֥יִם אֵֽל־ הַכָּב֥וֹד הִרְעִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל־ מַ֥יִם רַבִּֽים׃ ⁴קוֹל־ יְהוָ֥ה בַּכֹּ֑חַ ק֥וֹל יְ֝הוָ֗ה בֶּהָדָֽר׃ ⁵ק֣וֹל יְ֭הוָה שֹׁבֵ֣ר אֲרָזִ֑ים וַיְשַׁבֵּ֥ר יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֶת־ אַרְזֵ֥י הַלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ ⁶וַיַּרְקִידֵ֥ם כְּמוֹ־ עֵ֑גֶל לְבָנ֥וֹן וְ֝שִׂרְיֹ֗ן כְּמ֣וֹ בֶן־ רְאֵמִֽים׃ ⁷קוֹל־ יְהוָ֥ה חֹצֵ֗ב לַהֲב֥וֹת אֵֽשׁ׃ ⁸ק֣וֹל יְ֭הוָה יָחִ֣יל מִדְבָּ֑ר יָחִ֥יל יְ֝הוָ֗ה מִדְבַּ֥ר קָדֵֽשׁ׃ ⁹ק֤וֹל יְהוָ֨ה׀ יְחוֹלֵ֣ל אַיָּלוֹת֮ וַֽיֶּחֱשֹׂ֪ף יְעָ֫ר֥וֹת וּבְהֵיכָל֑וֹ כֻּ֝לּ֗וֹ אֹמֵ֥ר כָּבֽוֹד׃ ¹⁰יְ֭הוָה לַמַּבּ֣וּל יָשָׁ֑ב וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב יְ֝הוָ֗ה מֶ֣לֶךְ לְעוֹלָֽם׃ ¹¹יְֽהוָ֗ה עֹ֖ז לְעַמּ֣וֹ יִתֵּ֑ן יְהוָ֓ה׀ יְבָרֵ֖ךְ אֶת־ עַמּ֣וֹ בַשָּׁלֽוֹם׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 29:1

26 Psalms 29:1-11 ¹Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

²Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

³The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

⁴The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

⁵The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

⁷The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

⁸The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

¹⁰The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

¹¹The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.(KJV)

¹⁰The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

²Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name;

Worship Jehovah in holy array.

³The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters:

The God of glory thundereth,

Even Jehovah upon many waters.

⁴The voice of Jehovah is powerful;

The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

⁵The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars;

Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶He maketh them also to skip like a calf;

Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

⁷The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.

⁸The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness;

Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve,

And strippeth the forests bare:

And in his temple everything saith, Glory.

¹⁰Jehovah sat as King at the Flood;

Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.

¹¹Jehovah will give strength unto his people;(ASV)

26 Psalms 29:1-11 ¹BRING unto the LORD the offspring of rams; bring unto the LORD glory and honour. ²Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the court of his holy temple. ³The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is upon many waters. ⁴The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. ⁵The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶He makes them also to skip like calves, Lebanon and Sirion like a young ox. ⁷The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. ⁸The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ⁹The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to tremble, and uproots the forests; and in his temple every one speaks of his glory. ¹⁰The LORD controls the flood; yea, the LORD sits King for ever. ¹¹The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. 26 Psalms 29:1-11 ¹A Psalm of David. ²Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. ³Ascribe to the LORD the glory of his name; worship the LORD in holy array. ⁴The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, upon many waters. ⁵The voice of the LORD is powerful, the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. ⁶The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. ⁷He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Si'rion like a young wild ox. ⁸The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. ⁹The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness, the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ¹⁰The voice of the LORD makes the oaks to whirl, and strips the forests bare; and in his temple all cry, "Glory!" ¹¹The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king for ever. worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

³The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.

⁴The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.

⁵The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.

⁷The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.

⁸The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

⁹The voice of the LORD twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.

And in his temple all cry, "Glory!"

¹⁰The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.

¹¹The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.(NIV)

¹⁰Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood.
