26 Psalms 26:1-12 ¹לְדָוִ֨ד׀ שָׁפְטֵ֤נִי יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־ אֲ֭נִי בְּתֻמִּ֣י הָלַ֑כְתִּי וּבַיהוָ֥ה בָּ֝טַ֗חְתִּי לֹ֣א אֶמְעָֽד׃ ²בְּחָנֵ֣נִי יְהוָ֣ה וְנַסֵּ֑נִי כִלְיוֹתַ֣י וְלִבִּֽי׃ ³כִּֽי־ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָ֑י וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃ ⁴לֹא־ יָ֭שַׁבְתִּי עִם־ מְתֵי־ שָׁ֑וְא וְעִ֥ם נַ֝עֲלָמִ֗ים לֹ֣א אָבֽוֹא׃ ⁵שָׂ֭נֵאתִי קְהַ֣ל מְרֵעִ֑ים וְעִם־ רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים לֹ֣א אֵשֵֽׁב׃ ⁶אֶרְחַ֣ץ בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן כַּפָּ֑י וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה אֶת־ מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃ ⁷לַ֭שְׁמִעַ בְּק֣וֹל תּוֹדָ֑ה וּ֝לְסַפֵּ֗ר כָּל־ נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ ⁸יְֽהוָ֗ה אָ֭הַבְתִּי מְע֣וֹן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וּ֝מְק֗וֹם מִשְׁכַּ֥ן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃ ⁹אַל־ תֶּאֱסֹ֣ף עִם־ חַטָּאִ֣ים נַפְשִׁ֑י וְעִם־ אַנְשֵׁ֖י דָמִ֣ים חַיָּֽי׃ ¹⁰אֲשֶׁר־ בִּידֵיהֶ֥ם זִמָּ֑ה וִֽ֝ימִינָ֗ם מָ֣לְאָה שֹּֽׁחַד׃ ¹¹וַ֭אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּ֥י אֵלֵ֗ךְ פְּדֵ֣נִי וְחָנֵּֽנִי׃ ¹²רַ֭גְלִי עָֽמְדָ֣ה בְמִישׁ֑וֹר בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ יְהוָֽה׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 26:1

26 Psalms 26:1-12 ¹Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

²Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

³For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

⁴I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

⁵I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and will not sit with the wicked.

⁶I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

⁷That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

⁸LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

⁹Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

¹⁰In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

¹¹But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

¹²My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.(KJV)

I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering.

²Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me;

Try my heart and my mind.

³For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes;

And I have walked in thy truth.

⁴I have not sat with men of falsehood;

Neither will I go in with dissemblers.

⁵I hate the assembly of evil-doers,

And will not sit with the wicked.

⁶I will wash my hands in innocency:

So will I compass thine altar, O Jehovah;

⁷That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard,

And tell of all thy wondrous works.

⁸Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house,

And the place where thy glory dwelleth.

⁹Gather not my soul with sinners,

Nor my life with men of blood;

¹⁰In whose hands is wickedness,

And their right hand is full of bribes.

¹¹But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity:

Redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

¹²My foot standeth in an even place:(ASV)

26 Psalms 26:1-12 ¹JUDGE me, O LORD; for I have walked in my integrity; I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not waver. ²Prove me, O LORD, and try me; examine my mind and my heart. ³For thy lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in thy faith. ⁴I have not sat with evil persons; neither have I associated with detestable persons. ⁵I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and have not sat with the wicked.

⁶¶ I have washed my hands clean, and I have gone around thy altar, O LORD, ⁷That I may hear the voice of thy praise and tell of all thy wondrous works. ⁸LORD, I have loved the ritual of thy house and the place where thy glory dwelleth. ⁹Destroy me not with sinners nor my life with bloody men, ¹⁰In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. ¹¹But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; save me and be merciful unto me. ¹²My foot has stood in the straight way; in the congregation will I bless the LORD. (LAM)

26 Psalms 26:1-12 ¹A Psalm of David. ²Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. ³Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind. ⁴For thy steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to thee. ⁵I do not sit with false men, nor do I consort with dissemblers; ⁶I hate the company of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked. ⁷I wash my hands in innocence, and go about thy altar, O LORD, ⁸singing aloud a song of thanksgiving, and telling all thy wondrous deeds. ⁹O LORD, I love the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwells. ¹⁰Sweep me not away with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men, ¹¹men in whose hands are evil devices, and whose right hands are full of bribes. ¹²But as for me, I walk in my integrity; redeem me, and be gracious to me. [ (Psalms 26:13) My foot stands on level ground; in the great congregation I will bless the LORD. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 26:1-12 ¹Vindicate me, O LORD,
for I have led a blameless life;

I have trusted in the LORD
without wavering.

²Test me, O LORD, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;

³for your love is ever before me,
and I walk continually in your truth.

⁴I do not sit with deceitful men,
nor do I consort with hypocrites;

⁵I abhor the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.

⁶I wash my hands in innocence,
and go about your altar, O LORD,

⁷proclaiming aloud your praise
and telling of all your wonderful deeds.

⁸I love the house where you live, O LORD,
the place where your glory dwells.

⁹Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
my life with bloodthirsty men,

¹⁰in whose hands are wicked schemes,
whose right hands are full of bribes.

¹¹But I lead a blameless life;
redeem me and be merciful to me.

¹²My feet stand on level ground;
in the great assembly I will praise the LORD.(NIV)

The place where your glory dwells.
