26 Psalms 22:1-31 1My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying,

8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mothers breasts.

10I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mothers belly.

11Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

18They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

21Save me from the lions mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28For the kingdom is the LORDS: and he is the governor among the nations.

29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.(KJV)

Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not;

And in the night season, and am not silent.

3But thou art holy,

O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4Our fathers trusted in thee:

They trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5They cried unto thee, and were delivered:

They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame.

6But I am a worm, and no man;

A reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7All they that see me laugh me to scorn:

They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8Commit thyself unto Jehovah;

Let him deliver him:

Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.

9But thou art he that took me out of the womb;

Thou didst make me trust when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10I was cast upon thee from the womb;

Thou art my God since my mother bare me.

11Be not far from me; for trouble is near;

For there is none to help.

Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

As a ravening and a roaring lion.

And all my bones are out of joint:

My heart is like wax;

It is melted within me.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd;

And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws;

And thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16For dogs have compassed me:

A company of evil-doers have inclosed me;

They pierced my hands and my feet.

17I may count all my bones;

They look and stare upon me.

18They part my garments among them,

And upon my vesture do they cast lots.

19But be not thou far off, O Jehovah:

O thou my succor, haste thee to help me.

20Deliver my soul from the sword,

My darling from the power of the dog.

21Save me from the lion's mouth;

Yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen thou hast answered me.

22I will declare thy name unto my brethren:

In the midst of the assembly will I praise thee.

23Ye that fear Jehovah, praise him;

All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him;

And stand in awe of him, all ye the seed of Israel.

26 Psalms 22:1-31 1MY God, my God, why hast thou let me to live? and yet thou hast delayed my salvation from me, because of the words of my folly. 2O my God, I call thee in the daytime but thou answerest me not; and in the night season thou abidest not with me. 3For thou art holy, and Israel dwells under thy glory. 4Our fathers trusted in thee; they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 5They cried unto thee and were delivered; they trusted in thee and were not confounded. 6But I am a worm, and not a man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn; they shoot out with their lips, they shake their heads, saying, 8He trusted in the LORD; let the LORD deliver him; let him save him, if he be delighted in him. 9For thou art my trust since I came out of the womb, and my hope since I was upon my mother's breasts. 10I was put under thy care from the womb; thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11¶ Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. 12Many bulls have surrounded me: strong bulls of Bashan have besieged me. 13Their mouths snarl against me, as a ravening and roaring lion. 14I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is melted like wax, and my bowels are wasted in the midst of me. 15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and thou hast thrown me into the dust of death. 16For the vicious have surrounded me; the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me; they have pierced my hands and my feet. 17My bones ached with pain; they looked and stared upon me. 18They parted my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. 19But, O LORD, be not thou far from me; O God, O God, abide to help me. 20Deliver my soul from the sword, my only one from the hand of the vicious. 21Save me from the lion's mouth; save my meekness from the haughty,

22¶ That I may declare thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. 23You that revere the LORD, praise him; all you the offspring of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you descendants of Israel. 24For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor; neither has he turned away his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard him. 25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation; I will fulfil my vows before them that worship him. 26The poor shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the LORD that seek him; their hearts shall live for ever. 27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the kindreds of the Gentiles shall worship before thee. 28For the kingdom is the LORD'S; he is the governor over the Gentiles. 29All they that are hungry upon earth shall eat and worship before the LORD; all they that are buried shall kneel before him; my soul is alive to him. 30An offspring shall serve him; the generations thereof shall proclaim the LORD. 31They shall come and declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, and tell that which the LORD has done. 26 Psalms 22:1-31 1To the choirmaster: according to The Hind of the Dawn. A Psalm of David. 2My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? 3O my God, I cry by day, but thou dost not answer; and by night, but find no rest. 4Yet thou art holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. 5In thee our fathers trusted; they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 6To thee they cried, and were saved; in thee they trusted, and were not disappointed. 7But I am a worm, and no man; scorned by men, and despised by the people. 8All who see me mock at me, they make mouths at me, they wag their heads; 9"He committed his cause to the LORD; let him deliver him, let him rescue him, for he delights in him!" 10Yet thou art he who took me from the womb; thou didst keep me safe upon my mother's breasts. 11Upon thee was I cast from my birth, and since my mother bore me thou hast been my God. 12Be not far from me, for trouble is near and there is none to help. 13Many bulls encompass me, strong bulls of Bashan surround me; 14they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion. 15I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax, it is melted within my breast; 16my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; thou dost lay me in the dust of death. 17Yea, dogs are round about me; a company of evildoers encircle me; they have pierced my hands and feet-- 18I can count all my bones-- they stare and gloat over me; 19they divide my garments among them, and for my raiment they cast lots. 20But thou, O LORD, be not far off! O thou my help, hasten to my aid! 21Deliver my soul from the sword, my life from the power of the dog! 22Save me from the mouth of the lion, my afflicted soul from the horns of the wild oxen! 23I will tell of thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee: 24You who fear the LORD, praise him! all you sons of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all you sons of Israel! 25For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; and he has not hid his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him. 26From thee comes my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will pay before those who fear him. 27The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the LORD! May your hearts live for ever! 28All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. 29For dominion belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations. 30Yea, to him shall all the proud of the earth bow down; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust, and he who cannot keep himself alive. 31Posterity shall serve him; men shall tell of the Lord to the coming generation, [ (Psalms 22:32) and proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn, that he has wrought it. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 22:1-31 1My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from the words of my groaning?

2O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, and am not silent.

3Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the praise of Israel.

4In you our fathers put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.

5They cried to you and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not disappointed.

6But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by men and despised by the people.

7All who see me mock me;
they hurl insults, shaking their heads:

8"He trusts in the LORD;
let the LORD rescue him.

Let him deliver him,
since he delights in him."

9Yet you brought me out of the womb;
you made me trust in you
even at my mother's breast.

10From birth I was cast upon you;
from my mother's womb you have been my God.

11Do not be far from me,
for trouble is near
and there is no one to help.

12Many bulls surround me;
strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.

13Roaring lions tearing their prey
open their mouths wide against me.

14I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.

My heart has turned to wax;
it has melted away within me.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;
you lay me in the dust of death.

16Dogs have surrounded me;
a band of evil men has encircled me,
they have pierced my hands and my feet.

17I can count all my bones;
people stare and gloat over me.

18They divide my garments among them
and cast lots for my clothing.

19But you, O LORD, be not far off;
O my Strength, come quickly to help me.

20Deliver my life from the sword,
my precious life from the power of the dogs.

21Rescue me from the mouth of the lions;
save me from the horns of the wild oxen.

22I will declare your name to my brothers;
in the congregation I will praise you.

23You who fear the LORD, praise him!
All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!
Revere him, all you descendants of Israel!

24For he has not despised or disdained
the suffering of the afflicted one;

he has not hidden his face from him
but has listened to his cry for help.

25From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;
before those who fear you will I fulfill my vows.

26The poor will eat and be satisfied;
they who seek the LORD will praise him --
may your hearts live forever!

27All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the LORD,

and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him,

28for dominion belongs to the LORD
and he rules over the nations.

29All the rich of the earth will feast and worship;
all who go down to the dust will kneel before him --
those who cannot keep themselves alive.

30Posterity will serve him;
future generations will be told about the Lord.

31They will proclaim his righteousness
to a people yet unborn --
for he has done it.(NIV)

For there is none to help.

12Many bulls have surrounded me.
Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.

13They open their mouths wide against me,
lions tearing prey and roaring.

14I am poured out like water.
All my bones are out of joint.

My heart is like wax;
it is melted within me.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd.
My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth.

You have brought me into the dust of death.

16For dogs have surrounded me.
A company of evildoers have enclosed me.
Like a lion, they pin my hands and feet.

17I can count all of my bones.

They look and stare at me.

18They divide my garments among them.
They cast lots for my clothing.

19But don't be far off, LORDf .
You are my help: hurry to help me.

20Deliver my soul from the sword,
my precious life from the power of the dog.

21Save me from the lion's mouth!
Yes, from the horns of the wild oxen, you have answered me.

22I will declare your name to my brothers.
In the midst of the assembly, I will praise you.

23You who fear the LORD, praise him!
All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him!
Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!

24For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted,
Neither has he hidden his face from him;
but when he cried to him, he heard.

25Of you comes my praise in the great assembly.
I will pay my vows before those who fear him.

26The humble shall eat and be satisfied.
They shall praise the LORD who seek after him.
Let your hearts live forever.

27All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD.
All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.

28For the kingdom is the LORD's.
He is the ruler over the nations.

29All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship.
All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him,
even he who can't keep his soul alive.

30Posterity shall serve him.
Future generations shall be told about the Lord.

31They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born,
for he has done it.(WEB/HNV)

26 Psalms 22:1-31 1MY God, my God, why have you let me live? Yet you have delayed my salvation from me, because of the words of my folly. 2Oh my God, I call you in the daytime but you do not answer me; and in the night season you do not stay with me. 3For you are holy, and Israel lives under your glory. 4Our fathers trusted in you; they trusted, and you delivered them. 5They cried to you and were delivered; they trusted in you and were not confounded. 6But I am a worm, and not a man; a disgrace of men, and despised of the people. 7All those who saw me have laughed me to scorn; they shoot out with their lips, they shake their heads, saying, 8He trusted in Yahvah; let Yahvah deliver him; let him save him, if he be delighted in him. 9For you are my trust since I came out of the womb, and my hope since I was on my mother's breasts. 10I was put under your care from the womb; you are my God from my mother's belly.

11Do not be far from me; for trouble is near; for there is no one to help. 12Many bulls have surrounded me: strong bulls of Bashan have besieged me. 13Their mouths snarl against me, as a ravening and roaring lion. 14I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is melted like wax, and my bowels are wasted in the middle of me. 15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue clings to my jaws; and you have thrown me into the dust of death. 16For the vicious have surrounded me; the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me; they have pierced my hands and my feet. 17My bones ached with pain; they looked and stared on me. 18They parted my garments among them, and cast lots on my vesture. 19But, oh Yahvah, do not be far from me; oh God, oh God, stay and help me. 20Deliver my soul from the sword, my only one from the hand of the vicious. 21Save me from the lion's mouth; save my meekness from the haughty,

22That I may declare your name to my brothers; in the middle of the congregation I will praise you. 23You who revere Yahvah, praise him; all you the offspring of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you descendants of Israel. 24For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor; nor has he turned away his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard him. 25My praise will be of you in the great congregation; I will fulfill my vows before those who worship him. 26The poor will eat and be satisfied; they will praise Yahvah that seek him; their hearts will live forever. 27All the ends of the world will remember and turn to Yahvah; and all the relatives of the Gentiles will worship before you. 28For the kingdom is Yahvah's; he is the governor over the Gentiles. 29All those who are hungry on earth will eat and worship before Yahvah; all those who are buried will kneel before him; my soul is alive to him. 30An offspring will serve him; its generations will proclaim the Lord. 31They will come and declare his righteousness to a people that will be born, and tell that which Yahvah has done.
