26 Psalms 11:1-7 ¹לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד בַּֽיהוָ֨ה׀ חָסִ֗יתִי אֵ֭יךְ תֹּאמְר֣וּ לְנַפְשִׁ֑י הַרְכֶ֥ם צִפּֽוֹר׃ ²כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה הָרְשָׁעִ֡ים יִדְרְכ֬וּן קֶ֗שֶׁת כּוֹנְנ֣וּ חִצָּ֣ם עַל־ יֶ֑תֶר לִיר֥וֹת בְּמוֹ־ אֹ֝֗פֶל לְיִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃ ³כִּ֣י הַ֭שָּׁתוֹת יֵֽהָרֵס֑וּן צַ֝דִּ֗יק מַה־ פָּעָֽל׃ ⁴יְהוָ֤ה׀ בְּֽהֵ֘יכַ֤ל קָדְשׁ֗וֹ יְהוָה֮ בַּשָּׁמַ֪יִם כִּ֫סְא֥וֹ עֵינָ֥יו יֶחֱז֑וּ עַפְעַפָּ֥יו יִ֝בְחֲנ֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃ ⁵יְהוָה֮ צַדִּ֪יק יִ֫בְחָ֥ן וְ֭רָשָׁע וְאֹהֵ֣ב חָמָ֑ס שָֽׂנְאָ֥ה נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ ⁶יַמְטֵ֥ר עַל־ רְשָׁעִ֗ים פַּ֫חִ֥ים אֵ֣שׁ וְ֭גָפְרִית וְר֥וּחַ זִלְעָפ֗וֹת מְנָ֣ת כּוֹסָֽם׃ ⁷כִּֽי־ צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה צְדָק֣וֹת אָהֵ֑ב יָ֝שָׁ֗ר יֶחֱז֥וּ פָנֵֽימוֹ׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 11:1

26 Psalms 11:1-7 ¹In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

²For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

³If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

⁴The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORDS throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

⁵The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

⁶Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

⁷For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.(KJV)

How say ye to my soul,

Flee as a bird to your mountain;

²For, lo, the wicked bend the bow,

They make ready their arrow upon the string,

That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart;

³If the foundations be destroyed,

What can the righteous do?

⁴Jehovah is in his holy temple;

Jehovah, his throne is in heaven;

His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

⁵Jehovah trieth the righteous;

But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

⁶Upon the wicked he will rain snares;

Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

⁷For Jehovah is righteous; he loveth righteousness:(ASV)

⁴¶ The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids examine, the children of men. ⁵The LORD tries the righteous and the wicked; but his soul hates him that loves violence. ⁶Snares have come down upon the wicked like rain; fire and brimstone and a destructive tempest shall be the portion of their cup. ⁷For the LORD is righteous, and he loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright. Of David. ²In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to me, "Flee like a bird to the mountains; ³for lo, the wicked bend the bow, they have fitted their arrow to the string, to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart; ⁴if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do"? ⁵The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids test, the children of men. ⁶The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and his soul hates him that loves violence. ⁷On the wicked he will rain coals of fire and brimstone; a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. 26 Psalms 11:1-7 ¹In the LORD I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
"Flee like a bird to your mountain.

²For look, the wicked bend their bows;
they set their arrows against the strings

to shoot from the shadows
at the upright in heart.

³When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?"

⁴The LORD is in his holy temple;
the LORD is on his heavenly throne.

He observes the sons of men;
his eyes examine them.

⁵The LORD examines the righteous,
but the wicked and those who love violence
his soul hates.

⁶On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.

⁷For the LORD is righteous,
he loves justice;
upright men will see his face.(NIV)
