26 Psalms 11:1-7 1In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

2For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

3If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORDS throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

5The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

6Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

7For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.(KJV)

3If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

26 Psalms 11:1-7 1In Jehovah do I take refuge:

How say ye to my soul,

Flee as a bird to your mountain;

2For, lo, the wicked bend the bow,

They make ready their arrow upon the string,

That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart;

3If the foundations be destroyed,

What can the righteous do?

4Jehovah is in his holy temple;

Jehovah, his throne is in heaven;

His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

5Jehovah trieth the righteous;

But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

6Upon the wicked he will rain snares;

Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

7For Jehovah is righteous; he loveth righteousness:(ASV)

4¶ The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids examine, the children of men. 5The LORD tries the righteous and the wicked; but his soul hates him that loves violence. 6Snares have come down upon the wicked like rain; fire and brimstone and a destructive tempest shall be the portion of their cup. 7For the LORD is righteous, and he loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.
