26 Psalms 9:1-20 ¹לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ עַלְמ֥וּת לַבֵּ֗ן מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ ²אוֹדֶ֣ה יְ֭הוָה בְּכָל־ לִבִּ֑י אֲ֝סַפְּרָ֗ה כָּל־ נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ ³אֶשְׂמְחָ֣ה וְאֶעֶלְצָ֣ה בָ֑ךְ אֲזַמְּרָ֖ה שִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ ⁴בְּשׁוּב־ אוֹיְבַ֥י אָח֑וֹר יִכָּשְׁל֥וּ וְ֝יֹאבְד֗וּ מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ ⁵כִּֽי־ עָ֭שִׂיתָ מִשְׁפָּטִ֣י וְדִינִ֑י יָשַׁ֥בְתָּ לְ֝כִסֵּ֗א שׁוֹפֵ֥ט צֶֽדֶק׃ ⁶גָּעַ֣רְתָּ ג֭וֹיִם אִבַּ֣דְתָּ רָשָׁ֑ע שְׁמָ֥ם מָ֝חִ֗יתָ לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃ ⁷הָֽאוֹיֵ֨ב׀ תַּ֥מּוּ חֳרָב֗וֹת לָ֫נֶ֥צַח וְעָרִ֥ים נָתַ֑שְׁתָּ אָבַ֖ד זִכְרָ֣ם הֵֽמָּה׃ ⁸וַֽ֭יהוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם יֵשֵׁ֑ב כּוֹנֵ֖ן לַמִּשְׁפָּ֣ט כִּסְאֽוֹ׃ ⁹וְה֗וּא יִשְׁפֹּֽט־ תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק יָדִ֥ין לְ֝אֻמִּ֗ים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃ ¹⁰וִ֘יהִ֤י יְהוָ֣ה מִשְׂגָּ֣ב לַדָּ֑ךְ מִ֝שְׂגָּ֗ב לְעִתּ֥וֹת בַּצָּרָֽה׃ ¹¹וְיִבְטְח֣וּ בְ֭ךָ יוֹדְעֵ֣י שְׁמֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י לֹֽא־ עָזַ֖בְתָּ דֹרְשֶׁ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃ ¹²זַמְּר֗וּ לַ֭יהוָה יֹשֵׁ֣ב צִיּ֑וֹן הַגִּ֥ידוּ בָ֝עַמִּ֗ים עֲלִֽילוֹתָֽיו׃ ¹³כִּֽי־ דֹרֵ֣שׁ דָּ֭מִים אוֹתָ֣ם זָכָ֑ר לֹֽא־ שָׁ֝כַ֗ח צַעֲקַ֥ת ¹⁴חָֽנְנֵ֬נִי יְהוָ֗ה רְאֵ֣ה עָ֭נְיִי מִשֹּׂנְאָ֑י מְ֝רוֹמְמִ֗י מִשַּׁ֥עֲרֵי מָֽוֶת׃ ¹⁵לְמַ֥עַן אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה כָּֽל־ תְּהִלָּ֫תֶ֥יךָ בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵ֥י בַת־ צִיּ֑וֹן אָ֝גִ֗ילָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃ ¹⁶טָבְע֣וּ ג֭וֹיִם בְּשַׁ֣חַת עָשׂ֑וּ בְּרֶֽשֶׁת־ ז֥וּ טָ֝מָ֗נוּ נִלְכְּדָ֥ה רַגְלָֽם׃ ¹⁷נ֤וֹדַ֨ע׀ יְהוָה֮ מִשְׁפָּ֪ט עָ֫שָׂ֥ה בְּפֹ֣עַל כַּ֭פָּיו נוֹקֵ֣שׁ רָשָׁ֑ע הִגָּי֥וֹן סֶֽלָה׃ ¹⁸יָשׁ֣וּבוּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים לִשְׁא֑וֹלָה כָּל־ גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם שְׁכֵחֵ֥י אֱלֹהִֽים׃ ¹⁹כִּ֤י לֹ֣א לָ֭נֶצַח יִשָּׁכַ֣ח אֶבְי֑וֹן תִּקְוַ֥ת תֹּאבַ֥ד לָעַֽד׃ ²⁰קוּמָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אַל־ יָעֹ֣ז אֱנ֑וֹשׁ יִשָּׁפְט֥וּ ג֝וֹיִ֗ם עַל־ פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 9:1

26 Psalms 9:1-20 ¹I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

²I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

³When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

⁵Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

⁶O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

⁷But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

⁸And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

⁹The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

¹⁰And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

¹²When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

¹³Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

¹⁴That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

¹⁵The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁶The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

¹⁷The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

¹⁹Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

²⁰Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.(KJV)

I will show forth all thy marvellous works.

²I will be glad and exult in thee;

I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High.

³When mine enemies turn back,

They stumble and perish at thy presence.

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause;

Thou sittest in the throne judging righteously.

⁵Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked;

Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁶The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever;

And the cities which thou hast overthrown,

The very remembrance of them is perished.

⁷But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever:

He hath prepared his throne for judgment;

⁸And he will judge the world in righteousness,

He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

⁹Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed,

A high tower in times of trouble;

¹⁰And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee;

For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwelleth in Zion:

Declare among the people his doings.

¹²For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them;

He forgetteth not the cry of the poor.

¹³Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah;

Behold my affliction which I suffer of them that hate me,

Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;

¹⁴That I may show forth all thy praise.

In the gates of the daughter of Zion

I will rejoice in thy salvation.

¹⁵The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made:

In the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁶Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment:

The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.

¹⁷The wicked shall be turned back unto Sheol,

Even all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸For the needy shall not alway be forgotten,

Nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.

¹⁹Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail:

Let the nations be judged in thy sight.

²⁰Put them in fear, O Jehovah:(ASV)

26 Psalms 9:1-20 ¹I WILL praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works. ²I will be glad and rejoice in thee and I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. ³When mine enemies are beaten back, they shall stumble and perish before thy presence. ⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne, O thou righteous judge. ⁵Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles and thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever. ⁶My enemies have been annihilated by the sword for ever; and thou hast destroyed the villages and their very memory hath perished. ⁷But the LORD shall endure for ever; he has prepared his throne for judgment. ⁸And he shall judge the world in righteousness and the people in uprightness. ⁹The LORD also will be a refuge for the poor, a refuge in times of trouble. ¹⁰And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O LORD.

¹¹¶ Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion; declare among the people his skillful doings; ¹²For he has remembered to avenge their blood; he forgets not the cry of the poor. ¹³Have mercy upon me, O LORD, and consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, O thou that removest me away from the gates of death, ¹⁴That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion; I will rejoice in thy salvation. ¹⁵The Gentiles are sunk down in the pit that they made; and their foot is caught in the net which they hid. ¹⁶The LORD makes known the judgment which he executes; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. ¹⁷The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, and all the peoples that forsake God. ¹⁸For the poor shall not always be forgotten; and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever. ¹⁹Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail; let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight. ²⁰Appoint for them a lawgiver, that the Gentiles may know themselves to be but men. A Psalm of David. ²I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds. ³I will be glad and exult in thee, I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High. ⁴When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before thee. ⁵For thou hast maintained my just cause; thou hast sat on the throne giving righteous judgment. ⁶Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever. ⁷The enemy have vanished in everlasting ruins; their cities thou hast rooted out; the very memory of them has perished. ⁸But the LORD sits enthroned for ever, he has established his throne for judgment; ⁹and he judges the world with righteousness, he judges the peoples with equity. ¹⁰The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. ¹¹And those who know thy name put their trust in thee, for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those who seek thee. ¹²Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds! ¹³For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted. ¹⁴Be gracious to me, O LORD! Behold what I suffer from those who hate me, O thou who liftest me up from the gates of death, ¹⁵that I may recount all thy praises, that in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in thy deliverance. ¹⁶The nations have sunk in the pit which they made; in the net which they hid has their own foot been caught. ¹⁷The LORD has made himself known, he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. [Higgaion. Selah] ¹⁸The wicked shall depart to Sheol, all the nations that forget God. ¹⁹For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish for ever. ²⁰Arise, O LORD! ²I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

³My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.

⁴For you have upheld my right and my cause;
you have sat on your throne, judging righteously.

⁵You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁶Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy,
you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished.

⁷The LORD reigns forever;
he has established his throne for judgment.

⁸He will judge the world in righteousness;
he will govern the peoples with justice.

⁹The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.

¹⁰Those who know your name will trust in you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

¹¹Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion;
proclaim among the nations what he has done.

¹²For he who avenges blood remembers;
he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.

¹³O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me!
Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,

¹⁴that I may declare your praises
in the gates of the Daughter of Zion
and there rejoice in your salvation.

¹⁵The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;
their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.

¹⁶The LORD is known by his justice;
the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. Higgaion. Selah

¹⁷The wicked return to the grave,
all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸But the needy will not always be forgotten,
nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish.

¹⁹Arise, O LORD, let not man triumph;
let the nations be judged in your presence.

²⁰Strike them with terror, O LORD;
let the nations know they are but men. Selah(NIV)
