7Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him? 8In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. 10Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. 11When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. 12And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. 13And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.(KJV) 13 Isaiah 27:1-13

13 Isaiah 27:1-13
7¶ Has the LORD smitten the oppressor as he smote those who smote him? Or is he slain according to the slaughter of those who are slain by him? 8In measure by which he has measured, will you judge him; in that which he has devised, in fierce anger on a day of blasting heat. 9By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven; and with all this fruit his sin will be taken away; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk-stones that are broken in pieces; likewise, the images and idols shall not stand up. 10For the strong city shall be forlorn and deserted and forsaken and left desolate like a wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down and consume its grass. 11When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off; the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor. 12And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall stir up the people from the channel of the river Euphrates to the river of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one to another, O children of Israel! 13And it shall come to pass in that day, the great trumpet shall be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Egypt and those who were scattered in the land of Assyria shall come in and worship the LORD in the land of the LORD, even on his holy mountain in Jerusalem. (LAM) 13 Isaiah 27:1-13
2In that day: "A pleasant vineyard, sing of it! 3I, the LORD, am its keeper; every moment I water it. Lest any one harm it, I guard it night and day; 4I have no wrath. Would that I had thorns and briers to battle! I would set out against them, I would burn them up together. 5Or let them lay hold of my protection, let them make peace with me, let them make peace with me." 6In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots, and fill the whole world with fruit. 7Has he smitten them as he smote those who smote them? Or have they been slain as their slayers were slain? 8Measure by measure, by exile thou didst contend with them; he removed them with his fierce blast in the day of the east wind. 9Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be expiated, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalkstones crushed to pieces, no Ashe'rim or incense altars will remain standing. 10For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness; there the calf grazes, there he lies down, and strips its branches. 11When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without discernment; therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, he that formed them will show them no favor. 12In that day from the river Euphra'tes to the Brook of Egypt the LORD will thresh out the grain, and you will be gathered one by one, O people of Israel. 13And in that day a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain at Jerusalem.(RSV) 13 Isaiah 27:1-13
2In that day -- "Sing about a fruitful vineyard: 3I, the LORD, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it. 4I am not angry. If only there were briers and thorns confronting me! I would march against them in battle; I would set them all on fire. 5Or else let them come to me for refuge; let them make peace with me, yes, let them make peace with me." 6In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit. 7Has the LORD struck her as he struck down those who struck her? Has she been killed as those were killed who killed her? 8By warfare and exile you contend with her -- with his fierce blast he drives her out, as on a day the east wind blows. 9By this, then, will Jacob's guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruitage of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing. 10The fortified city stands desolate, an abandoned settlement, forsaken like the desert; there the calves graze, there they lie down; they strip its branches bare. 11When its twigs are dry, they are broken off and women come and make fires with them. For this is a people without understanding; so their Maker has no compassion on them, and their Creator shows them no favor. 12In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, O Israelites, will be gathered up one by one. 13And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.(NIV) 13 Isaiah 27:1-13
13 Isaiah 27:1-13
6In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit. 7Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed? 8In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind. 9Therefore, by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherim and the incense altars shall rise no more. 10For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches. 11When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor. 12It will happen in that day, that the LORD will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel. 13It will happen in that day that a great shofar will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.(WEB/HNV) 13 Isaiah 27:1-13
7Has Yahvah struck the oppressor as he struck those who struck him? Or is he slain according to the slaughter of those who are slain by him? 8In measure by which he has measured, you will judge him; in that which he has devised, in fierce anger on a day of blasting heat. 9By this, therefore, the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven; and with all this fruit his sin will be taken away; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk-stones that are broken in pieces; likewise, the images and idols will not stand up. 10For the strong city will be forlorn and deserted and forsaken and left desolate like a wilderness; there the calf will feed, and there he will lie down and consume its grass. 11When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off; the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor. 12And it will come to pass in that day, that Yahvah will stir up the people from the channel of the river Euphrates to the river of Egypt, and you will be gathered to each other, oh children of Israel. 13And it will come to pass in that day, the great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Egypt and those who were scattered in the land of Assyria will come in and worship Yahvah in the land of Yahvah, even on his holy mountain in Jerusalem.
