2 Exodus 40:1-38 1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 3And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail. 4And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. 5And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. 6And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 8And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 9And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy. 10And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. 11And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it. 12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 13And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priests office. 14And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: 15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priests office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. 18And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars. 19And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

20And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: 21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail. 23And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

26And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail: 27And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.

28And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. 29And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal. 31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: 32When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses. 33And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: 37But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.(KJV)

13And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. 14And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: 15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

17And it came to pass in month 1 in year 2, on day 1 of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.(KJV/NC)

2 Exodus 40:1-38 1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 2On the first day of the first month shalt thou rear up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 3And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and thou shalt screen the ark with the veil. 4And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. 5And thou shalt set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 6And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 8And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 9And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the furniture thereof: and it shall be holy. 10And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar shall be most holy. 11And thou shalt anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it. 12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water. 13And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. 14And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them; 15and thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: and their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16Thus did Moses: according to all that Jehovah commanded him, so did he.

17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. 18And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up its pillars. 19And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 20And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark: 21and he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 22And he put the table in the tent of meeting, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the veil. 23And he set the bread in order upon it before Jehovah; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 24And he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25And he lighted the lamps before Jehovah; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 26And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil: 27and he burnt thereon incense of sweet spices; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 28And he put the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 29And he set the altar of burnt-offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meal-offering; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 30And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water therein, wherewith to wash. 31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat; 32when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as Jehovah commanded Moses. 33And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys: 37but if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of Jehovah was upon the tabernacle by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.(ASV)

2 Exodus 40:1-38 1AND the LORD said to Moses, 2On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the congregation. 3And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil. 4And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick and light the lamps thereof. 5And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle. 6And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7And you shall set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water in it. 8And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 9And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall sanctify it and all its vessels; and it shall be holy. 10And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it shall be an altar most holy. 11And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it. 12Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 13And you shall put upon Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office. 14Then you shall bring his sons and clothe them with coats; 15And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16¶ Thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him; so did he. 17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up. 18And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars. 19And be spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as the LORD commanded Moses. 20And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: 21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering of the door and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses. 22And he put the table in the tent of the congregation on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil. 23And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 24And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. 26And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil; 27And he burnt sweet incense upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses. 28And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. 29And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as the LORD commanded Moses. 30And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it. 31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it; 32When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses. 33And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34¶ Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 36And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys; 37But if the cloud was not lifted up, then they did not journey till the day that it was lifted up. 38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys. 2 Exodus 40:1-38 1The LORD said to Moses, 2"On the first day of the first month you shall erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 3And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and you shall screen the ark with the veil. 4And you shall bring in the table, and set its arrangements in order; and you shall bring in the lampstand, and set up its lamps. 5And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle. 6You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, 7and place the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 8And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court. 9Then you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture; and it shall become holy. 10You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar; and the altar shall be most holy. 11You shall also anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it. 12Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water, 13and put upon Aaron the holy garments, and you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest. 14You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them, 15and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests: and their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."

16Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did. 17And in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected. 18Moses erected the tabernacle; he laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars; 19and he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 20And he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark, and set the mercy seat above on the ark; 21and he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 22And he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil, 23and set the bread in order on it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 24And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle, 25and set up the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 26And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil, 27and burnt fragrant incense upon it; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 28And he put in place the screen for the door of the tabernacle. 29And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the cereal offering; as the LORD had commanded Moses. 30And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing, 31with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet; 32when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses. 33And he erected the court round the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 36Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would go onward; 37but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not go onward till the day that it was taken up. 38For throughout all their journeys the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel. 2 Exodus 40:1-38 1Then the LORD said to Moses: 2"Set up the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the first month. 3Place the ark of the Testimony in it and shield the ark with the curtain. 4Bring in the table and set out what belongs on it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps. 5Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

6"Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting; 7place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it. 8Set up the courtyard around it and put the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard.

9"Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it and all its furnishings, and it will be holy. 10Then anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it will be most holy. 11Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them.

12"Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water. 13Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest. 14Bring his sons and dress them in tunics. 15Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be to a priesthood that will continue for all generations to come." 16Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him.

17So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year. 18When Moses set up the tabernacle, he put the bases in place, erected the frames, inserted the crossbars and set up the posts. 19Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, as the LORD commanded him.

20He took the Testimony and placed it in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it. 21Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the shielding curtain and shielded the ark of the Testimony, as the LORD commanded him.

22Moses placed the table in the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the tabernacle outside the curtain 23and set out the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him.

24He placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle 25and set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him.

26Moses placed the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting in front of the curtain 27and burned fragrant incense on it, as the LORD commanded him. 28Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

29He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the LORD commanded him.

30He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing, 31and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet. 32They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.

33Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; 37but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out -- until the day it lifted. 38So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel during all their travels.(NIV)

2 Exodus 40:1-38 1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2'On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tent of the Tent of Meeting. 3You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil. 4You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lampstand, and light the lamps of it. 5You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tent. 6You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tent of the tent of meeting. 7You shall set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein. 8You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 9You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tent, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy. 10You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy. 11You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it. 12You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water. 13You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office. 14You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them. 15You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16Thus did Moses: according to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

17It happened in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tent was raised up. 18Moses raised up the tent, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards of it, and put in the bars of it, and raised up its pillars. 19He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tent above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 20He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark. 21He brought the ark into the tent, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 22He put the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tent northward, outside of the veil. 23He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 24He put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tent southward. 25He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 26He put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil; 27and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 28He put up the screen of the door to the tent. 29He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tent of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal-offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 30He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash. 31Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there. 32When they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 33He raised up the court around the tent and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tent. 35Moses wasn't able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh's glory filled the tent. 36When the cloud was taken up from over the tent, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys; 37but if the cloud wasn't taken up, then they didn't travel until the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tent by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.(WEB)

2 Exodus 40:1-38 1AND Yahvah said to Moses, 2On the 1st day of the 1st month you will set up the tabernacle of the congregation. 3And you will put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil. 4And you will bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed on it; and you will bring in the candlestick and light its lamps. 5And you will set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle. 6And you will set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7And you will set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and will put water in it. 8And you will set up the court around, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 9And you will take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and will sanctify it and all its vessels; and it will be holy. 10And you will anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it will be an altar most holy. 11And you will anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it. 12Then you will bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 13And you will put on Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office. 14Then you will bring his sons and clothe them with coats; 15And you will anoint them, as you anointed Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing will surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16Thus Moses did according to all that Yahvah commanded him; so he did. 17And it came to pass in the 1st month in the 2nd year, on the 1st day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up. 18And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars. 19And he spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 20And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above on the ark: 21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering of the door and covered the ark of the testimony; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 22And he put the table in the tent of the congregation on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil. 23And he set the bread in order on it before Yahvah; as Yahvah had commanded Moses. 24And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25And he lit the lamps before Yahvah; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 26And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil; 27And he burnt sweet incense on it; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 28And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. 29And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 30And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it. 31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it; 32When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as Yahvah commanded Moses. 33And he set up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of Yahvah filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode on it, and the glory of Yahvah filled the tabernacle. 36And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys; 37But if the cloud was not lifted up, then they did not journey until the day that it was lifted up. 38For the cloud of Yahvah was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.
