Revelation Replay 37 First Chronicles
62 First Peter 5:1-14
  1The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3Neither as being lords over Gods heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
13The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
14Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.(KJV)

62 First Peter 5:1-14
  1The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, according to the will of God; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock.
4And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;
7casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.
8Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,
9whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
10And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you.
11To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him, I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand ye fast therein.
13She that is in Babylon, elect together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Mark my son.
14Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be unto you all that are in Christ.(ASV)
62 First Peter 5:1-14
  1I EXHORT the ministers who are among you, for I also am a minister and a witness of the sufferings of Christ and a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.
2Feed the flock of God which is entrusted to your care and shepherd them spiritually, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but with all your heart.
3Live not as overlords over the flock, but as good examples to them.
4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that will not fade away.
5¶ And you too, young people, submit yourselves to your elders; and clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,
7Casting all your cares upon God, for he cares for you.
8¶ Be vigilant and be cautious, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
9Rise up, therefore, against him, as you are steadfast in the faith, knowing that your brethren who are in the world also suffered these same afflictions.
10¶ But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Jesus Christ, whom God has given to us, will strengthen us to endure these little afflictions that we may be made steadfast and remain in him for ever.
11To him be glory and dominion and honour for ever and ever. Amen.
12By Silvanus, a faithful brother, I have written you these things briefly according to my opinion, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein you stand.
13The chosen church which is at Babylon and Mark, my son, salute you.
14Greet one another with a holy kiss. Peace be with you all who are in Christ. Amen.

62 First Peter 5:1-14
  1So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ as well as a partaker in the glory that is to be revealed.
2Tend the flock of God that is your charge, not by constraint but willingly, not for shameful gain but eagerly,
3not as domineering over those in your charge but being examples to the flock.
4And when the chief Shepherd is manifested you will obtain the unfading crown of glory.
5Likewise you that are younger be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that in due time he may exalt you.
7Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.
8Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour.
9Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world.
10And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.
11To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12By Silva'nus, a faithful brother as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and declaring that this is the true grace of God; stand fast in it.
13She who is at Babylon, who is likewise chosen, sends you greetings; and so does my son Mark.
14Greet one another with the kiss of love. (RSV)
62 First Peter 5:1-14
  1To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed:
2Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers -- not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve;
3not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
4And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
5Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
11To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
12With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.
13She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark.
14Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.(NIV)
