61 First John 1:1-10 ¹ܡܤܒܪܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܗܘ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܒܪܫܝܬ ܗܘ ܕܫܡܥܢ ܘܚܙܝܢܝܗܝ ܒܥܝܢܝܢ ܚܙܝܢ ܘܓܫܢ ܒܐܝܕܝܢ ܗܘ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܚܝܐ ܀ ²ܘܚܝܐ ܐܬܓܠܝܘ ܘܚܙܝܢ ܘܤܗܕܝܢܢ ܘܡܟܪܙܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܘܬ ܐܒܐ ܘܐܬܓܠܝܘ ܠܢ ܀ ³ܘܡܕܡ ܕܚܙܝܢ ܘܫܡܥܢ ܡܘܕܥܝܢܢ ܐܦ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܫܘܬܦܘܬܐ ܥܡܢ ܘܫܘܬܦܘܬܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܠܢ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܥܡ ܐܒܐ ܘܥܡ ܒܪܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܀ ⁴ܘܗܠܝܢ ܟܬܒܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܚܕܘܬܢ ܕܒܟܘܢ ܬܗܘܐ ܡܫܡܠܝܐ ܀ ⁵ܘܗܕܐ ܗܝ ܤܒܪܬܐ ܕܫܡܥܢ ܡܢܗ ܘܡܤܒܪܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܗܘ ܘܚܫܘܟܐ ܟܠ ܟܠܗ ܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܀ ⁶ܘܐܢ ܐܡܪܝܢܢ ܕܫܘܬܦܘܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܥܡܗ ܘܡܗܠܟܝܢܢ ܒܚܫܘܟܐ ܕܓܠܐ ܚܢܢ ܘܠܘ ܒܫܪܪܐ ܪܕܝܢܢ ܀ ⁷ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܡܗܠܟܝܢܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܗܘ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܒܢܘܗܪܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܫܘܬܦܘܬܐ ܥܡ ܚܕܕܐ ܘܕܡܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܒܪܗ ܡܕܟܐ ܠܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܚܛܗܝܢ ܀ ⁸ܘܐܢ ܢܐܡܪ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܢ ܚܛܝܬܐ ܢܦܫܢ ܡܛܥܝܢܢ ܘܫܪܪܐ ܠܝܬ ܒܢ ܀ ⁹ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܘܕܝܢܢ ܒܚܛܗܝܢ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܗܘ ܘܙܕܝܩ ܕܢܫܒܘܩ ܠܢ ܚܛܗܝܢ ܘܢܕܟܝܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ ܥܘܠܢ ܀ ¹⁰ܘܐܢ ܐܡܪܝܢܢ ܕܠܐ ܚܛܝܢ ܥܒܕܝܢܢ ܠܗ ܕܓܠܐ ܘܡܠܬܗ ܠܝܬ ܠܘܬܢ ܀ (SYP)

61 First John 1:1-10 ¹That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; ²(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) ³That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. ⁴And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

⁵This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ⁶If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: ⁷But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ⁸If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.(KJV)

61 First John 1:1-10 ¹HE who was from the beginning, the one whom we have heard, and have seen with our eyes, have looked upon, and have touched with our hands, we declare to you is the Word of life. ²For the life was manifested, and we have seen it and bear witness to it, and preach to you eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us; ³It is that which we have seen and heard that we declare to you, so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. ⁴And these things we write to you that our joy in you may be complete.

⁵¶ This then is the good news which we have heard from him and declare to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. ⁶If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet live in darkness, we lie and do not follow the truth; ⁷But if we live in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁸¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. ⁹If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. ¹⁰If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us. (LAM)

⁵This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. ⁶If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; ⁷but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. ⁸If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.(RSV)

61 First John 1:1-10 ¹That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched -- this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. ²The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. ³We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. ⁴We write this to make our joy complete.

⁵This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. ⁶If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. ⁷But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

⁸If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. ⁹If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.(NIV)
