38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

2Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about. 3And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast. 4It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward. 5And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.

6He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in. 7And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left. 8He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.

9Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass. 10And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south. 11And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God; 12To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars; 13And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars. 14He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases; 15One sea, and twelve oxen under it. 16The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass. 17In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

19And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set; 20Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold; 21And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold; 22And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.(KJV)

38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1Moreover he made an altar of brass, 20 cubits the length thereof, and 20 cubits the breadth thereof, and 10 cubits the height thereof.

2Also he made a molten sea of 10 cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and 5 cubits the height thereof; and a line of 30 cubits did compass it round about. 3And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: 10 in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. 2 rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast. 4It stood upon 12 oxen, 3 looking toward the north, and 3 looking toward the west, and 3 looking toward the south, and 3 looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward. 5And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held 3000 baths.

And he made a hundred basins of gold. 9Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass. 10And he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south. 11And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Huram made an end of doing the work that he wrought for king Solomon in the house of God: 12the two pillars, and the bowls, and the two capitals which were on the top of the pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars, 13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars. 14He made also the bases, and the lavers made he upon the bases; 15one sea, and the twelve oxen under it. 16The pots also, and the shovels, and the flesh-hooks, and all the vessels thereof, did Huram his father make for king Solomon for the house of Jehovah of bright brass. 17In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out. 19And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon was the showbread; 20and the candlesticks with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold; 21and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold; 22and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple, were of gold.(ASV)

38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1MOREOVER he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length and twenty cubits its breadth and ten cubits its height. 2And he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in shape, and five cubits its height and thirty cubits its circumference. 3And it stood upon twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing south, three facing west, and three facing east; and the sea was set above them, and their hinder parts were inward. 4And the thickness of it was a handbreadth, and its brim was round like the brim of a cup, very beautiful. 5And he made also ten poles, and put five on the right hand and five on the left, to carry with them the altar of burnt offering. 6And he made ten lavers of brass, and put five on the right hand and five on the left, so that the priests might wash their hands and their feet in them. 7And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their specifications, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left. 8He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left. And he made a hundred basins of fine gold. 9Furthermore he made a large court for the priests and for the Levites, and overlaid the doors and the bars with brass. 10And he set the sea on the right side of the north end, over against the south.

11¶ And Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. And Hiram finished the work that he was to make for King Solomon for the house of God; 12To wit, the two pillars and the knobs and the capitals which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two knobs of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; 13And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two knobs of the capitals which were upon the pillars. 14He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases; 15One sea, and twelve oxen under it. 16The pots also and the shovels and the fleshhooks and all their instruments did Hiram make for King Solomon, for the house of the LORD, of bright brass. 17In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance; for the weight of these vessels of brass that Solomon made could not be found out. 19And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set; 20Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold; 21And the flowers and the lamps and the tongs made he of gold, and that perfect gold; 22And the snuffers and the basins and the spoons and the censers, of pure gold; and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold. 38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1He made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, and ten cubits high. 2Then he made the molten sea; it was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference. 3Under it were figures of gourds, for thirty cubits, compassing the sea round about; the gourds were in two rows, cast with it when it was cast. 4It stood upon twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east; the sea was set upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward. 5Its thickness was a handbreadth; and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily; it held over three thousand baths. 6He also made ten lavers in which to wash, and set five on the south side, and five on the north side. In these they were to rinse off what was used for the burnt offering, and the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7And he made ten golden lampstands as prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. 8He also made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. And he made a hundred basins of gold. 9He made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze; 10and he set the sea at the southeast corner of the house.

11Huram also made the pots, the shovels, and the basins. So Huram finished the work that he did for King Solomon on the house of God: 12the two pillars, the bowls, and the two capitals on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; 13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars. 14He made the stands also, and the lavers upon the stands, 15and the one sea, and the twelve oxen underneath it. 16The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all the equipment for these Huram-abi made of burnished bronze for King Solomon for the house of the LORD. 17In the plain of the Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zer'edah. 18Solomon made all these things in great quantities, so that the weight of the bronze was not ascertained.

19So Solomon made all the things that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence, 20the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed; 21the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; 22the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and firepans, of pure gold; and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the most holy place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.(RSV)

38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high. 2He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it. 3Below the rim, figures of bulls encircled it -- ten to a cubit. The bulls were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.

4The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center. 5It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.

6He then made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.

7He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.

8He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. He also made a hundred gold sprinkling bowls.

9He made the courtyard of the priests, and the large court and the doors for the court, and overlaid the doors with bronze. 10He placed the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner.

11He also made the pots and shovels and sprinkling bowls. So Huram finished the work he had undertaken for King Solomon in the temple of God: 12the two pillars; the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars; the two sets of network decorating the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars; 13the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of pomegranates for each network, decorating the bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars); 14the stands with their basins; 15the Sea and the twelve bulls under it; 16the pots, shovels, meat forks and all related articles. All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the LORD were of polished bronze. 17The king had them cast in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth and Zarethan. 18All these things that Solomon made amounted to so much that the weight of the bronze was not determined.

19Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in God's temple: the golden altar; the tables on which was the bread of the Presence; 20the lampstands of pure gold with their lamps, to burn in front of the inner sanctuary as prescribed; 21the gold floral work and lamps and tongs (they were solid gold); 22the pure gold wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, dishes and censers; and the gold doors of the temple: the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and the doors of the main hall.(NIV)

So Huram made an end of doing the work that he did for king Solomon in the house of God: 12the two pillars, and the bowls, and the two capitals which were on the top of the pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars, 13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars. 14He made also the bases, and the basins made he on the bases; 15one sea, and the twelve oxen under it. 16The pots also, and the shovels, and the forks, and all its vessels, did Huram his father make for king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass. 17In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out. 19Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables with the show bread on them; 20and the menorahs with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold; 21and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold; 22and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors of it for the most holy place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.(WEB/HNV)

38 Second Chronicles 4:1-22 1MOREOVER, he made an altar of brass, 20 cubits its length and 20 cubits its breadth and 10 cubits its height.

2And he made a molten sea of 10 cubits from brim to brim, round in shape, and 5 cubits its height and 30 cubits its circumference. 3And it stood on 12 oxen, 3 facing north, 3 facing south, 3 facing west, and 3 facing east; and the sea was set above them, and their hind parts were inward. 4And the thickness of it was a handbreadth, and its brim was round like the brim of a cup, very beautiful. 5And he also made 10 poles, and put 5 on the right hand and 5 on the left, to carry with them the altar of burnt offering.

6And he made 10 lavers of brass, and put 5 on the right hand and 5 on the left, so that the priests might wash their hands and their feet in them. 7And he made 10 candlesticks of gold according to their specifications, and set them in the temple, 5 on the right hand and 5 on the left. 8He also made 10 tables, and placed them in the temple, 5 on the right side and 5 on the left. And he made 100 basins of fine gold.

9Moreover, he made a large court for the priests and for the Levites, and overlaid the doors and the bars with brass. 10And he set the sea on the right side of the north end, over against the south. 11And Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. And Hiram finished the work that he was to make for King Solomon for the house of God; 12To that end, the 2 pillars and the knobs and the capitals which were on the top of the 2 pillars, and the 2 wreaths to cover the 2 knobs of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; 13And 400 pomegranates on the 2 wreaths; 2 rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the 2 knobs of the capitals which were on the pillars. 14He also made bases, and lavers he made on the bases; 151 sea, and 12 oxen under it. 16The pots and the shovels and the fleshhooks and all their instruments Hiram also made for King Solomon, for the house of Yahvah, of bright brass. 17In the plain of Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah. 18Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance; for the weight of these vessels of brass that Solomon made could not be found out.

19And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, also the golden altar, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set; 20Moreover, the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold; 21And the flowers and the lamps and the tongs he made of gold, of perfect gold; 22And the snuffers and the basins and the spoons and the censers, of pure gold; and the entry of the house, its inner doors for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
