37 First Chronicles 8:1-40 ¹וּבִ֨נְיָמִ֔ן הוֹלִ֖יד אֶת־ בֶּ֣לַע בְּכֹר֑וֹ אַשְׁבֵּל֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְאַחְרַ֖ח הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃ ²נוֹחָה֙ הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י וְרָפָ֖א הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃

³וַיִּהְי֥וּ בָנִ֖ים לְבָ֑לַע אַדָּ֥ר וְגֵרָ֖א וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃ ⁴וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ וְנַעֲמָ֖ן וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃ ⁵וְגֵרָ֥א וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן וְחוּרָֽם׃ ⁶וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י אֵח֑וּד אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֞ם רָאשֵׁ֤י אָבוֹת֙ לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי גֶ֔בַע וַיַּגְל֖וּם אֶל־ מָנָֽחַת׃ ⁷וְנַעֲמָ֧ן וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה וְגֵרָ֖א ה֣וּא הֶגְלָ֑ם וְהוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ עֻזָּ֖א וְאֶת־ אֲחִיחֻֽד׃ ⁸וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם הוֹלִיד֙ בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב מִן־ שִׁלְח֖וֹ אֹתָ֑ם חוּשִׁ֥ים וְאֶֽת־ בַּעֲרָ֖א נָשָֽׁיו׃ ⁹וַיּ֖וֹלֶד מִן־ חֹ֣דֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ אֶת־ יוֹבָב֙ וְאֶת־ צִבְיָ֔א וְאֶת־ מֵישָׁ֖א וְאֶת־ מַלְכָּֽם׃ ¹⁰וְאֶת־ יְע֥וּץ וְאֶת־ שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה וְאֶת־ מִרְמָ֑ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָנָ֖יו רָאשֵׁ֥י אָבֽוֹת׃ ¹¹וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ אֲבִיט֖וּב וְאֶת־ אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ ¹²וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְפַּ֔עַל עֵ֥בֶר וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם וָשָׁ֑מֶד ה֚וּא בָּנָ֣ה אֶת־ אוֹנ֔וֹ וְאֶת־ לֹ֖ד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ ¹³וּבְרִעָ֣ה וָשֶׁ֔מַע הֵ֚מָּה רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֔וֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י אַיָּל֑וֹן הֵ֥מָּה הִבְרִ֖יחוּ אֶת־ י֥וֹשְׁבֵי גַֽת׃ ¹⁴וְאַחְי֥וֹ שָׁשָׁ֖ק וִירֵמֽוֹת׃ ¹⁵וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וַעֲרָ֖ד וָעָֽדֶר׃ ¹⁶וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה וְיוֹחָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י בְרִיעָֽה׃ ¹⁷וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם וְחִזְקִ֥י וָחָֽבֶר׃ ¹⁸וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה וְיוֹבָ֖ב בְּנֵ֥י אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ ¹⁹וְיָקִ֥ים וְזִכְרִ֖י וְזַבְדִּֽי׃ ²⁰וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י וְצִלְּתַ֖י וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ ²¹וַעֲדָיָ֧ה וּבְרָאיָ֛ה וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י שִׁמְעִֽי׃ ²²וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן וָעֵ֖בֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ ²³וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן וְזִכְרִ֖י וְחָנָֽן׃ ²⁴וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה וְעֵילָ֖ם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃ ²⁵וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה בְּנֵ֥י שָׁשָֽׁק׃ ²⁶וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃ ²⁷וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה וְזִכְרִ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יְרֹחָֽם׃ ²⁸אֵ֣לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֛וֹת לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

²⁹וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן יָשְׁב֖וּ אֲבִ֣י גִבְע֑וֹן וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃ ³⁰וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֥וּר וְקִ֖ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנָדָֽב׃ ³¹וּגְד֥וֹר וְאַחְי֖וֹ וָזָֽכֶר׃ ³²וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שִׁמְאָ֑ה וְאַף־ הֵ֗מָּה נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־ אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃

³³וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־ יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־ מַלְכִּי־ שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־ אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־ אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃ ³⁴וּבֶן־ יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מִיכָֽה׃

³⁵וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ וְאָחָֽז׃ ³⁶וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ יְהוֹעַדָּ֔ה וִיהֽוֹעַדָּ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־ עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־ זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מוֹצָֽא׃ ³⁷וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ בִּנְעָ֑א רָפָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃ ³⁸וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם׀ בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃ ³⁹וּבְנֵ֖י עֵ֣שֶׁק אָחִ֑יו אוּלָ֣ם בְּכֹר֔וֹ יְעוּשׁ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃ ⁴⁰וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ בְנֵי־ א֠וּלָם אֲנָשִׁ֨ים גִּבֹּרֵי־ חַ֜יִל דֹּ֣רְכֵי קֶ֗שֶׁת וּמַרְבִּ֤ים בָּנִים֙ וּבְנֵ֣י בָנִ֔ים מֵאָ֖ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה מִבְּנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִֽן׃ (WLC)

37 First Chronicles 8:1-40 ¹Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third, ²Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth. ³And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud, ⁴And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah, ⁵And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram. ⁶And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath: ⁷And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza, and Ahihud. ⁸And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives. ⁹And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham, ¹⁰And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers. ¹¹And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal. ¹²The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof: ¹³Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath: ¹⁴And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, ¹⁵And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader, ¹⁶And Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah; ¹⁷And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber, ¹⁸Ishmerai also, and Jezliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal; ¹⁹And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi, ²⁰And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel, ²¹And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi; ²²And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel, ²³And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan, ²⁴And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah, ²⁵And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak; ²⁶And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah, ²⁷And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham. ²⁸These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem. ²⁹And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wifes name was Maachah: ³⁰And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab, ³¹And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher. ³²And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

³³And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi- shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal. ³⁴And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah. ³⁵And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz. ³⁶And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza, ³⁷And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son: ³⁸And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel. ³⁹And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third. ⁴⁰And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.(KJV)

These were his sons, heads of fathers' houses. ¹¹And of Hushim he begat Abitub and Elpaal. ¹²And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with the towns thereof; ¹³and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath; ¹⁴and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, ¹⁵and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder, ¹⁶and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah, ¹⁷and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber, ¹⁸and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal, ¹⁹and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi, ²⁰and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel, ²¹and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimei, ²²and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel, ²³and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan, ²⁴and Hananiah, and Elam, and Anthothijah, ²⁵and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak, ²⁶and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah, ²⁷and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham. ²⁸These were heads of fathers' houses throughout their generations, chief men: these dwelt in Jerusalem.

²⁹And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah; ³⁰and his first-born son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab, ³¹and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher. ³²And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren. ³³And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal. ³⁴And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah. ³⁵And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz. ³⁶And Ahaz begat Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza. ³⁷And Moza begat Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son. ³⁸And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. 37 First Chronicles 8:1-40 ¹NOW Benjamin begat Bela his first-born, Akbar the second, Ashcol the third, ²Gera the fourth, Naaman the fifth, ³Ahai the sixth, Arosh the seventh, ⁴Mathim the eighth, Hasim the ninth, ⁵And Adar the tenth. ⁶And the sons of Bela were Abdo, Gerah and Abihud, ⁷Abishua, Naaman, and Ahiah, ⁸And Saphim, Hupham, and Ahiram. ⁹And these are the sons of Abihud; ¹⁰These are the heads of their fathers by their families, and they were carried captive to the plain of Naaman. ¹¹And he begat of his wife Harash, Hobab, ¹²Zebiah, and Malcom, and Manasseh, Seriah, Jarmanah, and Zebaz; ¹³These were his sons, heads of the fathers. ¹⁴And Mahshim begat Hobat and Elipaleg. ¹⁵The sons of Elipaleg: Eber, Mishlam, and Shamer, ¹⁶Who built Eio and Lod, with the hamlets thereof; ¹⁷And he became the chief of the fathers over the inhabitants of Gath; ¹⁸And Shishak and Jeremoth, ¹⁹And Zebadiah, Azor, and Adai, ²⁰And Mancel, Anshephi, Ebron, and Zabdai, ²¹And Henani, Henaniah, Aulam, Anatoth, Peraiah, ²²Phael, and the children of Shishak, and Shimirah. ²³These were the heads of the fathers, by their generations; these were the men who dwelt in Jerusalem at first. ²⁴And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, whose wife's name was Maachah, ²⁵And his first-born son Abron, also Kish, Bela, and Nadab, ²⁶And Good, Ahib, Ezabar, and Mikloth. ²⁷And Mikloth begat Maa. ²⁸And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, opposite them. ²⁹And Mir begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, Malchishua, Jashui, and Ashbashul. ³⁰And the son of Jonathan was crippled in his feet, and Jashui had a son whose name was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal begat Micah. ³¹And the sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, Ahor, and Aran. ³²And Ahor begat Jehoiadah; and Jehoiadah begat Alemoth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

³³¶ And Moza begat Canaaniah, and Canaaniah begat Zopa, Elasah his son, and Azel his son. ³⁴And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azri his first-born, Kim his second, Ishmael his third, ³⁵And Sheadiah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel. ³⁶And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam the first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third. ³⁷And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, ³⁸And they instructed their sons and their sons' sons, ³⁹One hundred and fifty. ⁴⁰All these are of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin. 37 First Chronicles 8:1-40 ¹Benjamin was the father of Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, Ahar'ah the third, ²Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth. ³And Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abi'hud, ⁴Abishu'a, Na'aman, Aho'ah, ⁵Gera, Shephu'phan, and Huram. ⁶These are the sons of Ehud (they were heads of fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried into exile to Mana'hath): ⁷Na'aman, Ahi'jah, and Gera, that is, Heglam, who was the father of Uzza and Ahi'hud. ⁸And Shahara'im had sons in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Ba'ara his wives. ⁹He had sons by Hodesh his wife: Jobab, Zib'i-a, Mesha, Malcam, ¹⁰Je'uz, Sachi'a, and Mirmah.
