26 Psalms 36:1-12 ¹לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ׀ לְעֶֽבֶד־ יְהוָ֬ה לְדָוִֽד׃ ²נְאֻֽם־ פֶּ֣שַׁע לָ֭רָשָׁע בְּקֶ֣רֶב לִבִּ֑י אֵֽין־ פַּ֥חַד אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָֽיו׃ ³כִּֽי־ הֶחֱלִ֣יק אֵלָ֣יו בְּעֵינָ֑יו לִמְצֹ֖א עֲוֹנ֣וֹ לִשְׂנֹֽא׃ ⁴דִּבְרֵי־ פִ֭יו אָ֣וֶן וּמִרְמָ֑ה חָדַ֖ל לְהַשְׂכִּ֣יל לְהֵיטִֽיב׃ ⁵אָ֤וֶן׀ יַחְשֹׁ֗ב עַֽל־ מִשְׁכָּ֫ב֥וֹ יִ֭תְיַצֵּב עַל־ דֶּ֣רֶךְ לֹא־ ט֑וֹב רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א יִמְאָֽס׃ ⁶יְ֭הוָה בְּהַשָּׁמַ֣יִם חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗ עַד־ שְׁחָקִֽים׃ ⁷צִדְקָֽתְךָ֨׀ כְּֽהַרְרֵי־ אֵ֗ל מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶךָ תְּה֣וֹם רַבָּ֑ה אָ֤דָֽם־ וּבְהֵמָ֖ה תוֹשִׁ֣יעַ יְהוָֽה׃ ⁸מַה־ יָּקָ֥ר חַסְדְּךָ֗ אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים וּבְנֵ֥י אָדָ֑ם בְּצֵ֥ל כְּ֝נָפֶ֗יךָ יֶחֱסָיֽוּן׃ ⁹יִ֭רְוְיֻן מִדֶּ֣שֶׁן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וְנַ֖חַל עֲדָנֶ֣יךָ תַשְׁקֵֽם׃ ¹⁰כִּֽי־ עִ֭מְּךָ מְק֣וֹר חַיִּ֑ים בְּ֝אוֹרְךָ֗ נִרְאֶה־ אֽוֹר׃ ¹¹מְשֹׁ֣ךְ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְיֹדְעֶ֑יךָ וְ֝צִדְקָֽתְךָ֗ לְיִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃ ¹²אַל־ תְּ֭בוֹאֵנִי רֶ֣גֶל גַּאֲוָ֑ה וְיַד־ רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים אַל־ תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 36:1-12 ¹The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

²For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

⁴He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

⁵Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

⁶Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

⁷How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁹For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

¹⁰O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

¹²There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.(KJV)

⁷How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God!

And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house;

And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁹For with thee is the fountain of life:

In thy light shall we see light.

¹⁰Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee,

And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹Let not the foot of pride come against me,

And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

26 Psalms 36:1-12 ¹THE unjust conceives wickedness within his heart, for there is no fear of God before his eyes. ²He is unwilling to see his sins forgiven, or to hate them. ³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; he is unwilling to do good. ⁴He devises mischief upon his bed; he walks in a way that is not good that he may do evil.

⁵¶ O LORD, thy mercy is in heaven; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the universe. ⁶Thy righteouness is like the mountain of God; thy judgments are like a great deep; O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. ⁷How abundant is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings. ⁸They shall flourish with the richness of thy house; and thou shalt give them to drink of the pleasant water of thy spring. ⁹For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. ¹⁰O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. ¹¹Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. ¹²For there the workers of iniquity will fall; they will be cast down, and will not be able to rise. A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD. ²Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. ³For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated. ⁴The words of his mouth are mischief and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good. ⁵He plots mischief while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he spurns not evil. ⁶Thy steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, thy faithfulness to the clouds. ⁷Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God, thy judgments are like the great deep; man and beast thou savest, O LORD. ⁸How precious is thy steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings. ⁹They feast on the abundance of thy house, and thou givest them drink from the river of thy delights. ¹⁰For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light do we see light. ¹¹O continue thy steadfast love to those who know thee, and thy salvation to the upright of heart! ¹²Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away. [ (Psalms 36:13) There the evildoers lie prostrate, they are thrust down, unable to rise. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 36:1-12 ¹An oracle is within my heart
concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:

There is no fear of God
before his eyes.

²For in his own eyes he flatters himself
too much to detect or hate his sin.

³The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful;
he has ceased to be wise and to do good.

⁴Even on his bed he plots evil;
he commits himself to a sinful course
and does not reject what is wrong.

⁵Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.

⁶Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.
⁷How priceless is your unfailing love!

Both high and low among men
find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

⁸They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.

⁹For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

¹⁰Continue your love to those who know you,
your righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹May the foot of the proud not come against me,
nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

¹²See how the evildoers lie fallen --
thrown down, not able to rise!(NIV)

'There is no fear of God before his eyes.'

²For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
Too much to detect and hate his sin.

³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit.
He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

⁴He plots iniquity on his bed.
He sets himself in a way that is not good;
He doesn't abhor evil.

⁵Your loving kindness, Yahweh_f , is in the heavens.
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

⁶Your righteousness is like the mountains of God.
Your judgments are like a great deep.
Yahweh_f , you preserve man and animal.

⁷How precious is your loving kindness, God!
The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.

⁸They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house.
You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

⁹For with you is the spring of life.
In your light shall we see light.

¹⁰Oh continue your loving kindness to those who know you,
Your righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹Don't let the foot of pride come against me.
Don't let the hand of the wicked drive me away.

Therefore, the children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings. ⁸They will flourish with the richness of your house; and you will give them to drink of the pleasant water of your spring. ⁹For with you is the fountain of life; in your light will we see light. ¹⁰Oh continue your lovingkindness to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright in heart. ¹¹Do not let the foot of pride come against me, and do not let the hand of the wicked remove me. ¹²For there the workers of iniquity will fall; they will be cast down, and will not be able to rise.
