26 Psalms 28:1-9 ¹לְדָוִ֡ד אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ יְהוָ֨ה׀ אֶקְרָ֗א צוּרִי֮ אַֽל־ תֶּחֱרַ֪שׁ מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי פֶּן־ תֶּֽחֱשֶׁ֥ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי עִם־ י֥וֹרְדֵי בֽוֹר׃ ²שְׁמַ֤ע ק֣וֹל תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י אֵלֶ֑יךָ בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י יָ֝דַ֗י אֶל־ דְּבִ֥יר קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ ³אַל־ תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי עִם־ רְשָׁעִים֮ וְעִם־ פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן דֹּבְרֵ֣י שָׁ֭לוֹם עִם־ רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם וְ֝רָעָ֗ה בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ ⁴תֶּן־ לָהֶ֣ם כְּפָעֳלָם֮ וּכְרֹ֪עַ מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְ֭דֵיהֶם תֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֑ם הָשֵׁ֖ב גְּמוּלָ֣ם לָהֶֽם׃ ⁵כִּ֤י לֹ֤א יָבִ֡ינוּ אֶל־ פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת יְ֭הוָה וְאֶל־ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדָ֑יו יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִבְנֵֽם׃ ⁶בָּר֥וּךְ יְהוָ֑ה כִּי־ שָׁ֝מַע ק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ ⁷יְהוָ֤ה׀ עֻזִּ֥י וּמָגִנִּי֮ בּ֤וֹ בָטַ֥ח לִבִּ֗י וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז לִבִּ֑י וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃ ⁸יְהוָ֥ה עֹֽז־ לָ֑מוֹ וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז יְשׁוּע֖וֹת מְשִׁיח֣וֹ הֽוּא׃ ⁹הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה׀ אֶת־ עַמֶּ֗ךָ וּבָרֵ֥ךְ אֶת־ נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ וּֽרְעֵ֥ם וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם עַד־ הָעוֹלָֽם׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 28:1

26 Psalms 28:1-9 ¹Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

²Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

³Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

⁴Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

⁵Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

⁶Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

⁷The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

⁸The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

⁹Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.(KJV)

Lest, if thou be silent unto me,

I become like them that go down into the pit.

²Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee,

When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

³Draw me not away with the wicked,

And with the workers of iniquity;

That speak peace with their neighbors,

But mischief is in their hearts.

⁴Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings:

Give them after the operation of their hands;

Render to them their desert.

⁵Because they regard not the works of Jehovah,

Nor the operation of his hands,

He will break them down and not build them up.

⁶Blessed be Jehovah,

Because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

⁷Jehovah is my strength and my shield;

My heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped:

Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;

And with my song will I praise him.

⁸Jehovah is their strength,

And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

⁹Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance:(ASV)

26 Psalms 28:1-9 ¹UNTO thee have I cried, O my God; be not silent to me, lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. ²Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy temple. ³Count me not with the wicked and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. ⁴Reward them according to their deeds and according to their evil doings. ⁵Because they have not understood the works of the LORD nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them and not build them up.

⁶¶ Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my supplications. ⁷The LORD is my helper and my protector; my heart trusted in him, and I am happy; I will praise him with glorious song. ⁸The LORD is the strength of his people, and he is the protector of the salvation of his anointed. ⁹Save thy people, O LORD, and bless thine inheritance; shepherd them also, and take care of them for ever, (LAM)

26 Psalms 28:1-9 ¹A Psalm of David. ²To thee, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the Pit. ³Hear the voice of my supplication, as I cry to thee for help, as I lift up my hands toward thy most holy sanctuary. ⁴Take me not off with the wicked, with those who are workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors, while mischief is in their hearts. ⁵Requite them according to their work, and according to the evil of their deeds; requite them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. ⁶Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, or the work of his hands, he will break them down and build them up no more. ⁷Blessed be the LORD! for he has heard the voice of my supplications. ⁸The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. ⁹The LORD is the strength of his people, he is the saving refuge of his anointed. [ (Psalms 28:10) O save thy people, and bless thy heritage; be thou their shepherd, and carry them for ever. ] (RSV)

26 Psalms 28:1-9 ¹To you I call, O LORD my Rock;
do not turn a deaf ear to me.

For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.

²Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,

as I lift up my hands
toward your Most Holy Place.

³Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,

who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.

⁴Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;

repay them for what their hands have done
and bring back upon them what they deserve.

⁵Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD
and what his hands have done,

he will tear them down
and never build them up again.

⁶Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.

⁷The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.

My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.

⁸The LORD is the strength of his people,
a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

⁹Save your people and bless your inheritance;
be their shepherd and carry them forever.(NIV)
