26 Psalms 13:1-6 ¹לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ ²עַד־ אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־ אָ֓נָה׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־ פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ ³עַד־ אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־ אָ֓נָה׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃ ⁴הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־ אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃ ⁵פֶּן־ יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכָלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃ ⁶וַאֲנִ֤י׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַיהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃ (WLC)

26 Psalms 13:1

26 Psalms 13:1-6 ¹How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

²How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

³Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

⁴Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

⁵But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

⁶I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.(KJV)

How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

²How long shall I take counsel in my soul,

Having sorrow in my heart all the day?

How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

³Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God:

Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

⁴Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him;

Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

⁵But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness;

My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

⁶I will sing unto Jehovah,(ASV)

26 Psalms 13:1-6 ¹HOW long, O LORD, wilt thou forsake me? For ever? How long wilt thou turn away thy face from me? ²How long shall I keep sorrow in my soul and misery in my heart daily? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? ³Consider and hear me, O LORD my God; lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep in death, ⁴Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him, and those that trouble me rejoice when I am shaken. ⁵But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. ⁶I will sing unto the LORD, because he has saved me. (LAM)

How long wilt thou hide thy face from me? ³How long must I bear pain in my soul, and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? ⁴Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; ⁵lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed over him"; lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. ⁶But I have trusted in thy steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. [ (Psalms 13:7) I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me. ] (RSV)

How long will you hide your face from me?

²How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

³Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;

⁴my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

⁵But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.

⁶I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.(NIV)

My heart rejoices in your salvation.
