7Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed. 8The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. 9And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die. 10And a mans uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. 11For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts. 12Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock: 13Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength? 14But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.(KJV) 22 Amos 6:1-14

22 Amos 6:1-14
8¶ The LORD God has sworn by himself, says the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob and hate his palaces; therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it. 9And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house that they shall die. 10And a man's uncle or one who is near to him shall carry the dead body out of the house; and he shall say to him who is in the house, Is there any one else in the house with you? And he shall say, There is no one, because they have perished; for they did not mention the name of the LORD. 11For, behold, the LORD will go forth and he will smite the great house and cause it to quiver, and the little house will he make desolate. 12Do horses run upon rocks? Or does one plough with horses? For you have turned justice into bitterness, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood; 13You who rejoice over nothing, who say, Have we not taken a city by our own strength? 14Therefore, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, says the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall drive you away from the entrance of Hamath to the valley of Arabah. (LAM) 22 Amos 6:1-14
4"Woe to those who lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat lambs from the flock, and calves from the midst of the stall; 5who sing idle songs to the sound of the harp, and like David invent for themselves instruments of music; 6who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the finest oils, but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph! 7Therefore they shall now be the first of those to go into exile, and the revelry of those who stretch themselves shall pass away." 8The Lord GOD has sworn by himself (says the LORD, the God of hosts): "I abhor the pride of Jacob, and hate his strongholds; and I will deliver up the city and all that is in it." 9And if ten men remain in one house, they shall die. 10And when a man's kinsman, he who burns him, shall take him up to bring the bones out of the house, and shall say to him who is in the innermost parts of the house, "Is there still any one with you?" he shall say, "No"; and he shall say, "Hush! We must not mention the name of the LORD." 11For behold, the LORD commands, and the great house shall be smitten into fragments, and the little house into bits. 12Do horses run upon rocks? Does one plow the sea with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood-- 13you who rejoice in Lo-debar, who say, "Have we not by our own strength taken Karnaim for ourselves?" 14"For behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel," says the LORD, the God of hosts; "and they shall oppress you from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of the Arabah."(RSV) 22 Amos 6:1-14
8The Sovereign LORD has sworn by himself -- the LORD God Almighty declares: "I abhor the pride of Jacob and detest his fortresses; I will deliver up the city and everything in it." 9If ten men are left in one house, they too will die. 10And if a relative who is to burn the bodies comes to carry them out of the house and asks anyone still hiding there, "Is anyone with you?" and he says, "No," then he will say, "Hush! We must not mention the name of the LORD." 11For the LORD has given the command, and he will smash the great house into pieces and the small house into bits. 12Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow there with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness -- 13you who rejoice in the conquest of Lo Debar and say, "Did we not take Karnaim by our own strength?" 14For the LORD God Almighty declares, "I will stir up a nation against you, O house of Israel, that will oppress you all the way from Lebo Hamath to the valley of the Arabah."(NIV) 22 Amos 6:1-14
2GoP to Calneh, and see; Are they better than these kingdoms?
3ThoseP who put far away the evil day,
7Therefore they will now go captive with the first who go captive;
8'The Lord Yahweh has sworn by himself,' says Yahweh, the God of Armies:
9It will happen, if there remain ten men in one house, 10'When a man's relative carries him, even he who burns him, to bring bodies out of the house, and asks him who is in the innermost parts of the house, 'Is there yet any with you?' And he says, 'No;' then he will say, 'Hush! Indeed we must not mention the name of Yahweh.'
11'For, behold, Yahweh commands, and the great house will be smashed to pieces,
12Do horses run on the rocky crags? But youP have turned justice into poison,
13YouP who rejoice in a thing of nothing, who say,
14For, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, house of Israel,' 22 Amos 6:1-14

8Yahvah God has sworn by himself, says Yahvah the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob and hate his palaces; therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it. 9And it will come to pass, if there remain 10 men in one house that they will die. 10And a man's uncle or one who is near to him will carry the dead body out of the house; and he will say to him who is in the house, Is there anyone else in the house with you? And he will say, There is no one, because they have perished; for they did not mention the name of Yahvah. 11For look, Yahvah will go forth and he will strike the great house and cause it to quiver, and the little house he will make desolate. 12Do horses run on rocks? Or does one plow with horses? For you have turned justice into bitterness, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood; 13You who rejoice over nothing, who say, Have we not taken a city by our own strength? 14Therefore, look, I will raise up against you a nation, oh house of Israel, says Yahvah the God of hosts; and they will drive you away from the entrance of Hamath to the valley of Arabah.
