12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹וְאֵ֖לֶּה שְׁמ֣וֹת הַשְּׁבָטִ֑ים מִקְצֵ֣ה צָפ֡וֹנָה אֶל־ יַ֣ד דֶּֽרֶךְ־ חֶתְלֹ֣ן׀ לְֽבוֹא־ חֲמָ֡ת חֲצַ֣ר עֵינָן֩ גְּב֨וּל דַּמֶּ֤שֶׂק צָפ֙וֹנָה֙ אֶל־ יַ֣ד חֲמָ֔ת וְהָיוּ־ ל֧וֹ פְאַת־ קָדִ֛ים הַיָּ֖ם דָּ֥ן אֶחָֽד׃ ²וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל דָּ֗ן מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ים עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה אָשֵׁ֥ר אֶחָֽד׃ ³וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל אָשֵׁ֗ר מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ימָה וְעַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה נַפְתָּלִ֥י אֶחָֽד׃ ⁴וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל נַפְתָּלִ֗י מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛מָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃ ⁵וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛מָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה אֶפְרַ֥יִם אֶחָֽד׃ ⁶וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל אֶפְרַ֗יִם מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ים וְעַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה רְאוּבֵ֥ן אֶחָֽד׃ ⁷וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל רְאוּבֵ֗ן מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ים עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה יְהוּדָ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃ ⁸וְעַל֙ גְּב֣וּל יְהוּדָ֔ה מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֖ים עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֑מָּה תִּהְיֶ֣ה הַתְּרוּמָ֣ה אֲ‍ֽשֶׁר־ תָּרִ֡ימוּ חֲמִשָּׁה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים אֶ֜לֶף רֹ֗חַב וְאֹ֜רֶךְ כְּאַחַ֤ד הַחֲלָקִים֙ מִפְּאַ֤ת קָדִ֙ימָה֙ עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֔מָּה וְהָיָ֥ה הַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ בְּתוֹכֽוֹ׃ ⁹הַתְּרוּמָ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תָּרִ֖ימוּ לַֽיהוָ֑ה אֹ֗רֶךְ חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וְרֹ֖חַב עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת אֲלָפִֽים׃ ¹⁰וּ֠לְאֵ֜לֶּה תִּהְיֶ֣ה תְרֽוּמַת־ הַקֹּדֶשׁ֮ לַכֹּֽהֲנִים֒ צָפ֜וֹנָה חֲמִשָּׁ֧ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֶ֗לֶף וְיָ֙מָּה֙ רֹ֚חַב עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֔ים וְקָדִ֗ימָה רֹ֚חַב עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֔ים וְנֶ֕גְבָּה אֹ֕רֶךְ חֲמִשָּׁ֥ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אָ֑לֶף וְהָיָ֥ה מִקְדַּשׁ־ יְהוָ֖ה בְּתוֹכֽוֹ׃ ¹¹לַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים הַֽמְקֻדָּשׁ֙ מִבְּנֵ֣י צָד֔וֹק אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמְר֖וּ מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֑י אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ תָע֗וּ בִּתְעוֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר תָּע֖וּ הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

¹²וְהָיְתָ֨ה לָהֶ֧ם תְּרוּמִיָּ֛ה מִתְּרוּמַ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ קֹ֣דֶשׁ קָדָשִׁ֑ים אֶל־ גְּב֖וּל הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ ¹³וְהַלְוִיִּ֗ם לְעֻמַּת֙ גְּב֣וּל הַכֹּהֲנִ֔ים חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֙לֶף֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ וְרֹ֖חַב עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֑ים כָּל־ אֹ֗רֶךְ חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וְרֹ֖חַב עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת אֲלָפִֽים׃ ¹⁴וְלֹא־ יִמְכְּר֣וּ מִמֶּ֗נּוּ וְלֹ֥א יָמֵ֛ר וְלֹ֥א רֵאשִׁ֣ית הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּי־ קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָֽה׃ ¹⁵וַחֲמֵ֨שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֜ים הַנּוֹתָ֣ר בָּרֹ֗חַב עַל־ פְּנֵ֨י חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף חֹֽל־ ה֣וּא לָעִ֔יר לְמוֹשָׁ֖ב וּלְמִגְרָ֑שׁ וְהָיְתָ֥ה הָעִ֖יר ¹⁶וְאֵלֶּה֮ מִדּוֹתֶיהָ֒ פְּאַ֣ת צָפ֗וֹן חֲמֵ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת אֲלָפִ֔ים וּפְאַת־ נֶ֕גֶב חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת אֲלָפִ֑ים וּמִפְּאַ֣ת קָדִ֗ים חֲמֵ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת אֲלָפִ֔ים וּפְאַת־ יָ֕מָּה חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת וְאַרְבַּ֥עַת אֲלָפִֽים׃ ¹⁷וְהָיָ֣ה מִגְרָשׁ֮ לָעִיר֒ צָפ֙וֹנָה֙ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמָאתַ֔יִם וְנֶ֖גְבָּה חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמָאתָ֑יִם וְקָדִ֙ימָה֙ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמָאתַ֔יִם וְיָ֖מָּה חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ ¹⁸וְהַנּוֹתָ֨ר בָּאֹ֜רֶךְ לְעֻמַּ֣ת׀ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ עֲשֶׂ֨רֶת אֲלָפִ֤ים קָדִ֙ימָה֙ וַעֲשֶׂ֤רֶת אֲלָפִים֙ יָ֔מָּה וְהָיָ֕ה לְעֻמַּ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְהָיְתָ֤ה לְלֶ֔חֶם לְעֹבְדֵ֖י הָעִֽיר׃ ¹⁹וְהָעֹבֵ֖ד הָעִ֑יר יַעַבְד֕וּהוּ מִכֹּ֖ל שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ²⁰כָּל־ הַתְּרוּמָ֗ה חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אָ֑לֶף רְבִיעִ֗ית תָּרִ֙ימוּ֙ אֶת־ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ אֶל־ אֲחֻזַּ֖ת הָעִֽיר׃ ²¹וְהַנּוֹתָ֣ר לַנָּשִׂ֣יא מִזֶּ֣ה׀ וּמִזֶּ֣ה׀ לִתְרֽוּמַת־ הַקֹּ֣דֶשׁ וְלַאֲחֻזַּ֪ת הָעִ֟יר אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י חֲמִשָּׁה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים אֶ֥לֶף׀ תְּרוּמָה֮ עַד־ גְּב֣וּל קָדִימָה֒ וְיָ֗מָּה עַל־ פְּ֠נֵי חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֙לֶף֙ עַל־ גְּב֣וּל יָ֔מָּה לְעֻמַּ֥ת חֲלָקִ֖ים לַנָּשִׂ֑יא וְהָֽיְתָה֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וּמִקְדַּ֥שׁ הַבַּ֖יִת ²²וּמֵאֲחֻזַּ֤ת הַלְוִיִּם֙ וּמֵאֲחֻזַּ֣ת הָעִ֔יר בְּת֛וֹךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַנָּשִׂ֖יא יִֽהְיֶ֑ה בֵּ֣ין׀ גְּב֣וּל יְהוּדָ֗ה וּבֵין֙ גְּב֣וּל בִּנְיָמִ֔ן לַנָּשִׂ֖יא יִהְיֶֽה׃ ²³וְיֶ֖תֶר הַשְּׁבָטִ֑ים מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ימָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה בִּנְיָמִ֥ן אֶחָֽד׃ ²⁴וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל בִּנְיָמִ֗ן מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ימָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה שִׁמְע֥וֹן אֶחָֽד׃ ²⁵וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל שִׁמְע֗וֹן מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ימָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה יִשָׂשכָ֥ר אֶחָֽד׃ ²⁶וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל יִשָׂשכָ֗ר מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛ימָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה זְבוּלֻ֥ן אֶחָֽד׃ ²⁷וְעַ֣ל׀ גְּב֣וּל זְבוּלֻ֗ן מִפְּאַ֥ת קָדִ֛מָה עַד־ פְּאַת־ יָ֖מָּה גָּ֥ד אֶחָֽד׃ ²⁸וְעַל֙ גְּב֣וּל גָּ֔ד אֶל־ פְּאַ֖ת נֶ֣גֶב תֵּימָ֑נָה וְהָיָ֨ה גְב֜וּל מִתָּמָ֗ר מֵ֚י מְרִיבַ֣ת קָדֵ֔שׁ נַחֲלָ֖ה עַל־ הַיָּ֥ם הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ ²⁹זֹ֥את הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ תַּפִּ֥ילוּ מִֽנַּחֲלָ֖ה לְשִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ מַחְלְקוֹתָ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

³⁰וְאֵ֖לֶּה תּוֹצְאֹ֣ת הָעִ֑יר מִפְּאַ֣ת צָפ֔וֹן חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֛וֹת וְאַרְבַּ֥עַת אֲלָפִ֖ים מִדָּֽה׃ ³¹וְשַׁעֲרֵ֣י הָעִ֗יר עַל־ שְׁמוֹת֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שְׁעָרִ֥ים שְׁלוֹשָׁ֖ה צָפ֑וֹנָה שַׁ֣עַר רְאוּבֵ֞ן אֶחָ֗ד שַׁ֤עַר יְהוּדָה֙ אֶחָ֔ד שַׁ֥עַר לֵוִ֖י אֶחָֽד׃ ³²וְאֶל־ פְּאַ֣ת קָדִ֗ימָה חֲמֵ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת אֲלָפִ֔ים וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים שְׁלֹשָׁ֑ה וְשַׁ֨עַר יוֹסֵ֜ף אֶחָ֗ד שַׁ֤עַר בִּנְיָמִן֙ אֶחָ֔ד שַׁ֥עַר דָּ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃ ³³וּפְאַת־ נֶ֗גְבָּה חֲמֵ֨שׁ מֵא֜וֹת וְאַרְבַּ֤עַת אֲלָפִים֙ מִדָּ֔ה וּשְׁעָרִ֖ים שְׁלֹשָׁ֑ה שַׁ֣עַר שִׁמְע֞וֹן אֶחָ֗ד שַׁ֤עַר יִשָּׂשכָר֙ אֶחָ֔ד שַׁ֥עַר זְבוּלֻ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃ ³⁴פְּאַת־ יָ֗מָּה חֲמֵ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת אֲלָפִ֔ים שַֽׁעֲרֵיהֶ֖ם שְׁלֹשָׁ֑ה שַׁ֣עַר גָּ֞ד אֶחָ֗ד שַׁ֤עַר אָשֵׁר֙ אֶחָ֔ד שַׁ֥עַר נַפְתָּלִ֖י אֶחָֽד׃ ³⁵סָבִ֕יב שְׁמֹנָ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר אָ֑לֶף וְשֵׁם־ הָעִ֥יר מִיּ֖וֹם יְהוָ֥ה׀ שָֽׁמָּה׃ (WLC)

12 Ezekiel 48:1

12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. ²And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Asher. ³And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali. ⁴And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh. ⁵And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim. ⁶And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben. ⁷And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.

⁸And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it. ⁹The oblation that ye shall offer unto the LORD shall be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth. ¹⁰And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof. ¹¹It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. ¹²And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites. ¹³And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand. ¹⁴And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.

¹⁵And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof. ¹⁶And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred. ¹⁷And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty. ¹⁸And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city. ¹⁹And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel. ²⁰All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.

²¹And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof. ²²Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the princes, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince. ²³As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion. ²⁴And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion. ²⁵And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion. ²⁶And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion. ²⁷And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion. ²⁸And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea. ²⁹This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.

³⁰And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures. ³¹And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi. ³²And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan. ³³And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun. ³⁴At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali. ³⁵It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.(KJV)

12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east and west,) Dan, one portion. ²And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one portion. ³And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali, one portion. ⁴And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh, one portion. ⁵And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim, one portion. ⁶And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben, one portion. ⁷And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah, one portion. ⁸And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall offer, five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it. ⁹The oblation that ye shall offer unto Jehovah shall be five and twenty thousand reeds in length, and ten thousand in breadth. ¹⁰And for these, even for the priests, shall be the holy oblation: toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of Jehovah shall be in the midst thereof. ¹¹It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, that have kept my charge, that went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. ¹²And it shall be unto them an oblation from the oblation of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites. ¹³And answerable unto the border of the priests, the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand. ¹⁴And they shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first-fruits of the land be alienated; and it shall be answerable unto the holy oblation; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that labor in the city. ¹⁹And they that labor in the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it. ²⁰All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation four-square, with the possession of the city. ²¹And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city; ³¹¶ And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates on the north side; one gate for Reuben, one gate for Judah, one gate for Levi. ³²And at the east side four thousand and five hundred measures; and three gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, one gate for Dan. ³³And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures; and three gates: one gate for Simeon, one gate for Issachar, one gate for Zebulun. ³⁴At the west side four thousand and five hundred measures; and three gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali. ³⁵And the circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand measures; and the name of the city was given by the LORD from the day that it was built. ⁸"Adjoining the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, shall be the portion which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits in breadth, and in length equal to one of the tribal portions, from the east side to the west, with the sanctuary in the midst of it. ⁹The portion which you shall set apart for the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits in length, and twenty thousand in breadth. ¹⁰These shall be the allotments of the holy portion: the priests shall have an allotment measuring twenty-five thousand cubits on the northern side, ten thousand cubits in breadth on the western side, ten thousand in breadth on the eastern side, and twenty-five thousand in length on the southern side, with the sanctuary of the LORD in the midst of it. ¹¹This shall be for the consecrated priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge, who did not go astray when the people of Israel went astray, as the Levites did. ¹²And it shall belong to them as a special portion from the holy portion of the land, a most holy place, adjoining the territory of the Levites. ¹³And alongside the territory of the priests, the Levites shall have an allotment twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in breadth. The whole length shall be twenty-five thousand cubits and the breadth twenty thousand. ¹⁴They shall not sell or exchange any of it; they shall not alienate this choice portion of the land, for it is holy to the LORD.

¹⁵"The remainder, five thousand cubits in breadth and twenty-five thousand in length, shall be for ordinary use for the city, for dwellings and for open country. In the midst of it shall be the city; ¹⁶and these shall be its dimensions: the north side four thousand five hundred cubits, the south side four thousand five hundred, the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred. ¹⁷And the city shall have open land: on the north two hundred and fifty cubits, on the south two hundred and fifty, on the east two hundred and fifty, and on the west two hundred and fifty. ¹⁸The remainder of the length alongside the holy portion shall be ten thousand cubits to the east, and ten thousand to the west, and it shall be alongside the holy portion. Its produce shall be food for the workers of the city. ¹⁹And the workers of the city, from all the tribes of Israel, shall till it. ²⁰The whole portion which you shall set apart shall be twenty-five thousand cubits square, that is, the holy portion together with the property of the city.

²¹"What remains on both sides of the holy portion and of the property of the city shall belong to the prince. Extending from the twenty-five thousand cubits of the holy portion to the east border, and westward from the twenty-five thousand cubits to the west border, parallel to the tribal portions, it shall belong to the prince. The holy portion with the sanctuary of the temple in its midst, ²²and the property of the Levites and the property of the city, shall be in the midst of that which belongs to the prince. The portion of the prince shall lie between the territory of Judah and the territory of Benjamin.

²³"As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west, Benjamin, one portion. ²⁴Adjoining the territory of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, Simeon, one portion. ²⁵Adjoining the territory of Simeon, from the east side to the west, Is'sachar, one portion. ²⁶Adjoining the territory of Is'sachar, from the east side to the west, Zeb'ulun, one portion. ²⁷Adjoining the territory of Zeb'ulun, from the east side to the west, Gad, one portion. ²⁸And adjoining the territory of Gad to the south, the boundary shall run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-ka'desh, thence along the Brook of Egypt to the Great Sea. ²⁹This is the land which you shall allot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their several portions, says the Lord GOD.

³⁰"These shall be the exits of the city: On the north side, which is to be four thousand five hundred cubits by measure, ³¹three gates, the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi, the gates of the city being named after the tribes of Israel. ³²On the east side, which is to be four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates, the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan. ³³On the south side, which is to be four thousand five hundred cubits by measure, three gates, the gate of Simeon, the gate of Is'sachar, and the gate of Zeb'ulun. ³⁴On the west side, which is to be four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates, the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naph'tali. ³⁵The circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand cubits. 12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹"These are the tribes, listed by name: At the northern frontier, Dan will have one portion; it will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath; Hazar Enan and the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath will be part of its border from the east side to the west side.

²"Asher will have one portion; it will border the territory of Dan from east to west.

³"Naphtali will have one portion; it will border the territory of Asher from east to west.

⁴"Manasseh will have one portion; it will border the territory of Naphtali from east to west.

⁸"Bordering the territory of Judah from east to west will be the portion you are to present as a special gift. It will be 25,000 cubits wide, and its length from east to west will equal one of the tribal portions; the sanctuary will be in the center of it.

⁹"The special portion you are to offer to the LORD will be 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. ¹⁰This will be the sacred portion for the priests. It will be 25,000 cubits long on the north side, 10,000 cubits wide on the west side, 10,000 cubits wide on the east side and 25,000 cubits long on the south side. In the center of it will be the sanctuary of the LORD. ¹¹This will be for the consecrated priests, the Zadokites, who were faithful in serving me and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray. ¹²It will be a special gift to them from the sacred portion of the land, a most holy portion, bordering the territory of the Levites.

¹³"Alongside the territory of the priests, the Levites will have an allotment 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. Its total length will be 25,000 cubits and its width 10,000 cubits. ¹⁴They must not sell or exchange any of it. This is the best of the land and must not pass into other hands, because it is holy to the LORD.

¹⁵"The remaining area, 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long, will be for the common use of the city, for houses and for pastureland. The city will be in the center of it ¹⁶and will have these measurements: the north side 4,500 cubits, the south side 4,500 cubits, the east side 4,500 cubits, and the west side 4,500 cubits. ¹⁷The pastureland for the city will be 250 cubits on the north, 250 cubits on the south, 250 cubits on the east, and 250 cubits on the west. ¹⁸What remains of the area, bordering on the sacred portion and running the length of it, will be 10,000 cubits on the east side and 10,000 cubits on the west side. Its produce will supply food for the workers of the city. ¹⁹The workers from the city who farm it will come from all the tribes of Israel. ²⁰The entire portion will be a square, 25,000 cubits on each side. As a special gift you will set aside the sacred portion, along with the property of the city.

²¹"What remains on both sides of the area formed by the sacred portion and the city property will belong to the prince. It will extend eastward from the 25,000 cubits of the sacred portion to the eastern border, and westward from the 25,000 cubits to the western border. Both these areas running the length of the tribal portions will belong to the prince, and the sacred portion with the temple sanctuary will be in the center of them. ²²So the property of the Levites and the property of the city will lie in the center of the area that belongs to the prince. The area belonging to the prince will lie between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin.

²³"As for the rest of the tribes: Benjamin will have one portion; it will extend from the east side to the west side.

²⁴"Simeon will have one portion; it will border the territory of Benjamin from east to west.

²⁵"Issachar will have one portion; it will border the territory of Simeon from east to west.

²⁶"Zebulun will have one portion; it will border the territory of Issachar from east to west.

²⁷"Gad will have one portion; it will border the territory of Zebulun from east to west.

²⁸"The southern boundary of Gad will run south from Tamar to the waters of Meribah Kadesh, then along the Wadi of Egypt to the Great Sea.

²⁹"This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these will be their portions," declares the Sovereign LORD.

³⁰"These will be the exits of the city: Beginning on the north side, which is 4,500 cubits long, ³¹the gates of the city will be named after the tribes of Israel. The three gates on the north side will be the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah and the gate of Levi.

12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar Enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east and west), Dan, one portion. ²By the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one portion. ³By the border of Asher, from the east side even to the west side, Naphtali, one portion. ⁴By the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one portion. ⁵By the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one portion. ⁶By the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the west side, Reuben, one portion. ⁷By the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one portion. ⁸By the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the offering which you shall offer, twenty-five thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side to the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in its midst. ⁹The offering that you shall offer to the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand reeds in length, and ten thousand in breadth. ¹⁰For these, even for the priests, shall be the holy offering: toward the north twenty-five thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south twenty-five thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its midst. ¹¹It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my instruction, who didn't go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. ¹²It shall be to them an offering from the offering of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites. ¹³Answerable to the border of the priests, the Levites shall have twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand. ¹⁴They shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first fruits of the land be alienated; for it is holy to the LORD. ¹⁵The five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the twenty-five thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for suburbs; and the city shall be in its midst. ¹⁶These shall be its measures: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred. ¹⁷The city shall have suburbs: toward the north two hundred fifty, and toward the south two hundred fifty, and toward the east two hundred fifty, and toward the west two hundred fifty. ¹⁸The remainder in the length, answerable to the holy offering, shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward; and it shall be answerable to the holy offering; and its increase shall be for food to those who labor in the city. ¹⁹Those who labor in the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it. ²⁰All the offering shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand: you shall offer the holy offering foursquare, with the possession of the city. ²¹The residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy offering and of the possession of the city; in front of the twenty-five thousand of the offering toward the east border, and westward in front of the twenty-five thousand toward the west border, answerable to the portions, it shall be for the prince: and the holy offering and the sanctuary of the house shall be in its midst. ²²Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, it shall be for the prince. ²³As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one portion. ²⁴By the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one portion. ²⁵By the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion. ²⁶By the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion. ²⁷By the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion. ²⁸By the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the great sea. ²⁹This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord GOD. ³⁰These are the exits of the city: On the north side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure; ³¹and the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates northward: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one. ³²At the east side four thousand and five hundred reeds, and three gates: even the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one. ³³At the south side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure, and three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one. ³⁴At the west side four thousand and five hundred reeds, with their three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one. ³⁵It shall be eighteen thousand reeds around: and the name of the city from that day shall be, the LORD is there.(WEB/HNV)

12 Ezekiel 48:1-35 ¹NOW these are the boundaries of the tribes: From the north end, by the way of Hithron which is at the entrance of Hamath and of Khazarenan, the border of Damascus northward to the border of Hamath; these are its sides east and west, a portion for Dan. ²And by the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Asher. ³And by the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Naphtali. ⁴And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Manasseh. ⁵And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Reuben. ⁶And by the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Ephraim. ⁷And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, a portion for Judah. ⁸And by the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, will be the portion which you will set apart, 25,000 cubits in width, and in length the same as one of the other portions, from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary will be in the middle of it. ⁹And the portion of the land which you will set apart for Yahvah will be 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 in breadth. ¹⁰And for the priests will be the holy portion; toward the north 25,000 cubits in length, and toward the west 10,000 cubits in breadth, and toward the east 10,000 cubits in breadth, and toward the south 25,000 cubits in length; and the sanctuary of Yahvah will be in the middle of it. ¹¹It will be for the priests that are consecrated of the descendants of Zadok; who have kept my charge, who did not go astray as the children of Israel went astray and as the Levites went astray. ¹²And this portion will be their portion out of the land which is set aside, the most holy by the border of the Levites. ¹³And opposite the border of the priests the Levites will have a portion 25,000 cubits in length, and 10,000 in breadth: all their land will be 25,000 cubits in length and 10,000 cubits in breadth. ¹⁴And they will not sell any of it, nor exchange it, nor do away with the tithes of the land; for it is holy to Yahvah. ¹⁵And the 5,000 cubits that are left in the breadth over against the 25,000 cubits will be common ground for the use of the city, for dwelling and for suburbs; and the city will be in the middle of it. ¹⁶And these will be its dimensions: the north side 4,500 cubits, the east side 4,500 cubits, the south side 4,500 cubits, and the west side 4,500 cubits. ¹⁷And the suburbs of the city will be toward the north 250 cubits and toward the south 250 cubits and toward the east 250 cubits and toward the west 250 cubits. ¹⁸And the remainder of the land opposite the holy portion will be 10,000 eastward and 10,000 westward; and it will be opposite the holy portion; and its produce will be for food to those who work for the city. ¹⁹And those who work for the city will be recruited out of all the tribes of Israel. ²⁰The whole portion which is set aside will be 25,000 by 25,000; you will separate the holy portion from the possession of the city. ²¹And the remainder will be for the ruler of the city, on one side and on the other of the holy portion and of the possession of the city, opposite the 25,000 cubits toward the east border, and westward 25,000 cubits toward the west border, opposite the portion for the ruler; and it will be the holy portion; and the sanctuary of the temple will be in its middle. ²²Moreover, part of the possession of the Levites and of the possession of the city will be the portion of the ruler in the city, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin. ²³As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west side, Benjamin will have a portion. ²⁴And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon will have a portion. ²⁵And by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar a portion. ²⁶And by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun a portion. ²⁷And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad a portion. ²⁸And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border will be from Tamar to the waters of Maribath in Kadesh, and his possession will extend as far as the great sea. ²⁹This is the land which you will divide for a heritage to the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says Yahvah God. ³⁰And these will be the limits of the city: on the north side, 4,500 measures.

³¹And the gates of the city will be after the names of the tribes of Israel: 3 gates on the north side; one gate for Reuben, one gate for Judah, one gate for Levi. ³²And at the east side 4,500 measures; and 3 gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, one gate for Dan. ³³And at the south side 4,500 measures; and 3 gates: one gate for Simeon, one gate for Issachar, one gate for Zebulun. ³⁴At the west side 4,500 measures; and 3 gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali. ³⁵And the circumference of the city will be 18,000 measures; and the name of the city was given by Yahvah from the day that it was built.
