12 Ezekiel 37:1-28
1The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
15The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their childrens children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.(KJV)

7So I prophesied as he had commanded me; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a quake, and the bones came together, each bone to its joint.
8And when I beheld, lo, sinews and the flesh came upon them and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9Then he said to me, Prophesy concerning the breath; prophesy, Son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the LORD God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.
10So I prophesied as he had commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11Then he said to me, Son of man, all these bones are the bones of the children of Israel, who said, Our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we are completely gone.
12Therefore prophesy and say to them, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I will open your graves and bring you up out of them and bring you into the land of Israel.
13And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and brought you up out of them,

12 Ezekiel 37:1-28
1The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; it was full of bones.
2And he led me round among them; and behold, there were very many upon the valley; and lo, they were very dry.
3And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord GOD, thou knowest."
4Again he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.
6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the LORD."
7So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
8And as I looked, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."
10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great host.
11Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, `Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.'
12Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people; and I will bring you home into the land of Israel.
13And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people.
14And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done it, says the LORD."
15The word of the LORD came to me:
16"Son of man, take a stick and write on it, `For Judah, and the children of Israel associated with him'; then take another stick and write upon it, `For Joseph (the stick of E'phraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him';
17and join them together into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
18And when your people say to you, `Will you not show us what you mean by these?'
19say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (which is in the hand of E'phraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him; and I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand.
20When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes,
21then say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all sides, and bring them to their own land;
22and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.
23They shall not defile themselves any more with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
24"My servant David shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful to observe my statutes.
25They shall dwell in the land where your fathers dwelt that I gave to my servant Jacob; they and their children and their children's children shall dwell there for ever; and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.
26I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will bless them and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27My dwelling place shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary is in the midst of them for evermore."(RSV)
12 Ezekiel 37:1-28
1The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.
2He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.
3He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."
4Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, `Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
5This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
6I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
7So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'"
10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet -- a vast army.
11Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, `Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.'
12Therefore prophesy and say to them: `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
13Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.
14I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.'"
15The word of the LORD came to me:
16"Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, `Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, `Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
17Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.
18"When your countrymen ask you, `Won't you tell us what you mean by this?'
19say to them, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph -- which is in Ephraim's hand -- and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.'
20Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on
21and say to them, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land.
22I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms.
23They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
24"`My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.
25They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.
26I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.
27My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28Then the nations will know that I the LORD make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.'"(NIV)

1The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
2He caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, behold, they were very dry.
3He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, Lord Yahweh, you know.

12 Ezekiel 37:1-28
1THE hand of Yahvah was on me, and he carried me out in the spirit of Yahvah and set me down in a valley which was full of bones,
2And he caused me to pass around them; and look, there were very many in the valley; and look, they were very dry.
3And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, Oh Yahvah God, you know.
4Again he said to me, Prophesy concerning these bones, and say to them, Oh dry bones, hear the word of Yahvah.
5Thus says Yahvah God to these bones: Look, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live;
6And I will lay sinews on you and bring flesh on you and cover you with skin, and I will put breath in you, and you will live; and you will know that I am Yahvah.
7So I prophesied as he had commanded me; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and look a quake, and the bones came together, each bone to its joint.
8And as I watched, sinews and the flesh came on them and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9Then he said to me, Prophesy concerning the breath; prophesy, Son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says Yahvah God, Come from the 4 winds, oh breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.
10So I prophesied as he had commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up on their feet, an exceeding great army.
11Then he said to me, Son of man, all these bones are the bones of the children of Israel, who said, Our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we are completely gone.
12Therefore, prophesy and say to them, Thus says Yahvah God, Look, I will open your graves and bring you up out of them and bring you into the land of Israel.
13And you will know that I am Yahvah, when I have opened your graves and brought you up out of them,
14And I will put my spirit in you, and you will live, and I will place you in your own land; then you will know that I am Yahvah; I have spoken it, and I will do it, says Yahvah God.
15The word of Yahvah came again to me, saying,
16Son of man, take a stick and write on it: For Judah and for the children of Israel his companions; then take another stick and write on it: For Joseph, on the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions;
17And join them together into one stick; and they will become one stick in your hand.
18And if your people should say to you, Will you not show us what is the meaning of these sticks?
19Say to them, Thus says Yahvah God, Look, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them together with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand.
20And the sticks on which you write, hold them in your hand before their eyes;
21And say to them, Thus says Yahvah God, Look, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them together and bring them into their own land;
22And I will make them 1 nation in the land on the mountains of Israel; and 1 king will be king over them all; and they will not be 2 nations, nor will they be divided into 2 kingdoms any longer.
23Nor will they defile themselves any longer with their idols nor with their abominations nor with all their iniquity; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; so they will be my people, and I will be their God.
24And my servant David will be king over them; and they will all have 1 shepherd; they will walk in my judgments and keep my commandments and do them.
25And they will live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your fathers have lived; and they will live in it, even they and their children and their children's children forever; and my servant David will be their prince forever.
26Moreover, I will make a contract of peace with them; it will be an everlasting contract with them; and I will multiply them and set my sanctuary among them forever.
27My dwelling place will also be with them; yes, I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28And the Gentiles will know that I, Yahvah, sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary will be among them forever.
