4 Numbers 15:1-41 1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you, 3And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock: 4Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil. 5And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. 6Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meat offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil. 7And for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin of wine, for a sweet savour unto the LORD. 8And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD: 9Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil. 10And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 11Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid. 12According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number. 13All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do. 15One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. 16One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, 19Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD. 20Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it. 21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations.

22And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses, 23Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations; 24Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance: 26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.

27And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

30But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. 33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. 35And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

37And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. 41I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.(KJV)

4 Numbers 15:1-41 1And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you, 3and will make an offering by fire unto Jehovah, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill-offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor unto Jehovah, of the herd, or of the flock; 4then shall he that offereth his oblation offer unto Jehovah a meal-offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil: 5and wine for the drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb. 6Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil: 7and for the drink-offering thou shalt offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah. 8And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace-offerings unto Jehovah; 9then shall he offer with the bullock a meal-offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil: 10and thou shalt offer for the drink-offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

11Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids. 12According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number. 13All that are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah. 14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah; as ye do, so he shall do. 15For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, a statute for ever throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the sojourner be before Jehovah. 16One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

17And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, 19then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up a heave-offering unto Jehovah. 20Of the first of your dough ye shall offer up a cake for a heave-offering: as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it. 21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.

22And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses, 23even all that Jehovah hath commanded you by Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations; 24then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savor unto Jehovah, with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance, and one he-goat for a sin-offering. 25And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their oblation, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah, and their sin-offering before Jehovah, for their error: 26and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.

27And if one person sin unwittingly, then he shall offer a she-goat a year old for a sin-offering. 28And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that erreth, when he sinneth unwittingly, before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven. 29Ye shall have one law for him that doeth aught unwittingly, for him that is home-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them. 30But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a sojourner, the same blasphemeth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks upon the sabbath day. 33And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him. 35And Jehovah said unto Moses, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

37And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of each border a cord of blue: 39and it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to play the harlot; 40that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. 41I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah your God.(ASV)

4 Numbers 15:1-41 1AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land of your habitation, which I give to you for an inheritance, 3You shall offer an offering to the LORD, a burnt offering or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour to the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock; 4Then shall he who offers his offering to the LORD bring a meal offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth part of a hin of oil. 5And a fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering shall you offer with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. 6Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third part of a hin of oil. 7And for a drink offering you shall offer a third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet savour to the LORD. 8And when you offer a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or as a peace offering to the LORD; 9Then you shall offer with the bullock a meal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10And you shall bring for a drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to the LORD. 11Thus shall you do for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid of the goats. 12According to the number that you shall prepare, so shall you do to every one according to their number. 13All the house of Israel shall do these things after this manner, and shall offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to the LORD. 14And if a proselyte, sojourn with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to the LORD; as you do, so shall he do. 15One ordinance shall be both for .you and for the proselyte who sojourns with you, an ordinance for ever throughout your generations; the proselyte shall be like you before the LORD. 16One law and one ordinance shall be for you and for the proselyte who sojourns with you. 17The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 18Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land whither I will bring you, 19Then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a heave offering to the LORD. 20You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough as an offering to the LORD; as you make the offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it. 21Of the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD a heave offering throughout your generations.

22¶ And if you err, and do not observe all these commandments which the LORD has spoken to Moses, 23Even all that the LORD has commanded you by the hand of Moses from the day that the LORD commanded Moses and henceforward throughout your generations; 24Then it shall be, if the error was committed in the presence of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour to the LORD, with its meal offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance thereof, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was an error; and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering to the LORD for their folly; 26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel and the proselyte who sojourns among them, because all the people had erred. 27And if any person sins through an error, then he shall offer a she-goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28And the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins, when he sins by an error before the LORD. to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29You shall have one law for him who does anything through ignorance, both for the children of Israel and for the proselytes who sojourn among you.

30¶ But the person who commits sin wittingly, whether he be of you or of the proselytes, the same blasphemes before the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandments, that person shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him. 32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. 33And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34And they put him in prison, because it had not been declared what should be done to him. 35And the LORD said to Moses, The man shall be surely put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

37¶ And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 38Speak to the children of Israel and bid them that they make fringes on the borders of their mantles throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringes of the borders a ribbon of blue; 39And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the LORD your God and do them; and that you may not go astray, seeking after your own hearts and your own mind, after which you used to go astray; 40That you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. 41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the LORD your God. 4 Numbers 15:1-41 1The LORD said to Moses, 2"Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I give you, 3and you offer to the LORD from the herd or from the flock an offering by fire or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfil a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing odor to the LORD, 4then he who brings his offering shall offer to the LORD a cereal offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil; 5and wine for the drink offering, a fourth of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb. 6Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a cereal offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil; 7and for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a pleasing odor to the LORD. 8And when you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to fulfil a vow, or for peace offerings to the LORD, 9then one shall offer with the bull a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil, 10and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD.

11"Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each of the male lambs or the kids. 12According to the number that you prepare, so shall you do with every one according to their number. 13All who are native shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD. 14And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or any one is among you throughout your generations, and he wishes to offer an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD, he shall do as you do. 15For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the sojourner be before the LORD. 16One law and one ordinance shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you."

17The LORD said to Moses, 18"Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land to which I bring you 19and when you eat of the food of the land, you shall present an offering to the LORD. 20Of the first of your coarse meal you shall present a cake as an offering; as an offering from the threshing floor, so shall you present it. 21Of the first of your coarse meal you shall give to the LORD an offering throughout your generations.

22"But if you err, and do not observe all these commandments which the LORD has spoken to Moses, 23all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations, 24then if it was done unwittingly without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, a pleasing odor to the LORD, with its cereal offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; because it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error. 26And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the error.

27"If one person sins unwittingly, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering. 28And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who commits an error, when he sins unwittingly, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven. 29You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native among the people of Israel, and for the stranger who sojourns among them. 30But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the LORD, and that person shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him."

32While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. 33And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34They put him in custody, because it had not been made plain what should be done to him. 35And the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp." 36And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as the LORD commanded Moses.

37The LORD said to Moses, 38"Speak to the people of Israel, and bid them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put upon the tassel of each corner a cord of blue; 39and it shall be to you a tassel to look upon and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to go after wantonly. 40So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. 41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God."(RSV)

4 Numbers 15:1-41 1The LORD said to Moses, 2"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `After you enter the land I am giving you as a home 3and you present to the LORD offerings made by fire, from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD -- whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings -- 4then the one who brings his offering shall present to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil. 5With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.

6"`With a ram prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil, 7and a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

8"`When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow or a fellowship offering to the LORD, 9bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10Also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It will be an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 11Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. 12Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.

13"`Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when he brings an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 14For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, he must do exactly as you do. 15The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD: 16The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you.'"

17The LORD said to Moses, 18"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `When you enter the land to which I am taking you 19and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the LORD. 20Present a cake from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor. 21Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the LORD from the first of your ground meal.

22"`Now if you unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the LORD gave Moses -- 23any of the LORD's commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come -- 24and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering. 25The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have brought to the LORD for their wrong an offering made by fire and a sin offering. 26The whole Israelite community and the aliens living among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.

27"`But if just one person sins unintentionally, he must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering. 28The priest is to make atonement before the LORD for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven. 29One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether he is a native-born Israelite or an alien.

30"`But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or alien, blasphemes the LORD, and that person must be cut off from his people. 31Because he has despised the LORD's word and broken his commands, that person must surely be cut off; his guilt remains on him.'"

32While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 34and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. 35Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." 36So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.

37The LORD said to Moses, 38"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. 39You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by going after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. 40Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. 41I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.'"(NIV)

for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin-offering before Yahweh, for their error: 26and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; and he shall be forgiven. 29YouP shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is home-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them. 30But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is home-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh; 4 Numbers 15:1-41 1AND Yahvah spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land of your habitation, which I give to you for an inheritance, 3You will offer an offering to Yahvah, a burnt offering or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savor to Yahvah, of the herd, or of the flock; 4Then he who offers his offering to Yahvah will bring a meal offering of 1/10th part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with 1/4th part of a hin of oil. 5And 1/4th part of a hin of wine for a drink offering you will offer with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. 6Or for a ram, you will prepare for a meal offering 2/10ths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with 1/3rd part of a hin of oil. 7And for a drink offering you will offer 1/3rd part of a hin of wine, for a sweet savor to Yahvah. 8And when you offer a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or as a peace offering to Yahvah; 9Then you will offer with the bullock a meal offering of 3/10ths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with 1/2 a hin of oil. 10And you will bring for a drink offering 1/2 a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahvah. 11Thus you will do for 1 bullock, or for 1 ram, or for a lamb, or a kid of the goats. 12According to the number that you will prepare, so you will do to each one according to their number. 13All the house of Israel will do these things after this manner, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahvah. 14And if a proselyte, who resides temporarily with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahvah; as you do, so he will do. 15One ordinance will be for both you and for the proselyte who resides temporarily with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; the proselyte will be like you before Yahvah. 16One law and one ordinance will be for you and for the proselyte who resides temporarily with you. 17Yahvah spoke to Moses, saying, 18Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land where I will bring you, 19Then it will be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you will offer up a heave offering to Yahvah. 20You will offer up a cake of the first of your dough as an offering to Yahvah; as you make the offering of the threshing floor, so you will offer it. 21Of the first of your dough you will give to Yahvah a heave offering throughout your generations.

22And if you err, and do not observe all these commandments which Yahvah has spoken to Moses, 23Even all that Yahvah has commanded you by the hand of Moses from the day that Yahvah commanded Moses and henceforward throughout your generations; 24Then it will be, if the error was committed in the presence of the congregation, all the congregation will offer 1 young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savor to Yahvah, with its meal offering and its drink offering, according to its ordinance, and 1 kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest will make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it will be forgiven them; for it was an error; and they will bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to Yahvah, and their sin offering to Yahvah for their folly; 26And it will be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel and the proselyte who resides temporarily among them, because all the people had erred. 27And if any person sins through an error, then he will offer a she-goat of the 1st year for a sin offering. 28And the priest will make atonement for the person who sins, when he sins by an error before Yahvah, to make an atonement for him; and it will be forgiven him. 29You will have one law for him who does anything through ignorance, both for the children of Israel and for the proselytes who reside temporarily among you.

30But the person who commits sin wittingly, whether he be of you or of the proselytes, the same blasphemes before Yahvah; and that person will be cut off from among his people. 31Because he has despised the word of Yahvah and has broken his commandments, that person will utterly be cut off; his iniquity will be on him. 32And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. 33And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34And they put him in prison, because it had not been declared what should be done to him. 35And Yahvah said to Moses, The man will be surely put to death; all the congregation will stone him with stones outside the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as Yahvah commanded Moses.

37And Yahvah spoke to Moses, saying, 38Speak to the children of Israel and tell them to make fringes on the borders of their mantles throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringes of the borders a ribbon of blue; 39And it will be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it and remember all the commandments of Yahvah your God and do them; and that you may not go astray, seeking after your own hearts and your own mind, after which you used to go astray; 40That you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. 41I am Yahvah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am Yahvah your God.
